I enjoyed the food very much but the portions were so obnoxiously big it was hard for someone like me, who doesn’t eat a lot of meat, to find a steak. The waitress actually suggested the 20oz Porterhouse or my husband and I getting the 40+ oz to share! That is just glutinous!!

As always the food and service is outstanding!! But, the people handling the check-in were AWFUL!! I must add that that was unusual and not the norm, I can only assume they were new and not well trained.

Let me explain. I made my reservations through Open Table and asked for a booth in the back, not by the kitchen. They attempted to seat us at the first booth by the kitchen. When I went back to the desk to tell her what I had requested, and response "That's what it says on the screen." I responded, again, that is not what I requested and her response "I just started my shift, and that's what it says on the screen." I responded "That's not ok". Fortunately, there was another host standing next to her who intervened and looked on the screen and found a booth in the back and explained that they had been given their check and it would be about 15 minutes. I said 'Fine. We'll wait in the bar."

I LOVE Pappas Brothers and eat there on a fairly regular basis and as I said this was the first time I was met with resistance and an unwillingness to help and to provide the outstanding service that I have always received.

A really good evening with clients and executive management - outstanding steaks and impeccable service, and wonderful deserts. Pappa's is a very special place and we will be back - as we have been enjoying Pappa's for well over 15 years!

Dinner at Pappa’s was delicious as always. Steak cooked perfectly, lobster bisque the best in town. Service provided by Fabian was outstanding.

Incredible steaks, awesome salmon special, sides were phenomenal-try the mushrooms! Pricey but well worth it. Spot on service.

Great special occasion high-end steakhouse. Crab cakes are amazing.

The service was very good, but their steak, was slightly disappointing. The sea bass however was pretty good. The restaurant was very loud, and the interior decor was quite nice.

Its all about comparisons. Compared to another steak house that I frequent, Pappas is overpriced and their steak is of inferior taste and quality. I have tried Pappas twice and got the same impression both times.

Dinner was outstanding as always. Rating was lowered due to bar service. Arrived early to have a drink. Took a very long time for waitress to stop to take our order. One walked by twice without acknowledging us. Hostess came to seat us while we waited between ordering drinks and getting the drinks. I tried to cancel the bar order only to be told they were being made. Waited a little longer then waitress came by to say they weren’t yet made but she would bring them to our table. She came several minutes later with drinks and bill. Had to settle up at the table on the bar order which after all that would have much preferred to have that total added to my dinner bill rather than trying to take care of that bill while choosing a bottle of wine and dinner order. Rest of the evening was outstanding.

Pretty unorganized when we got there- had to wait more than 5 minutes just to have a hostess greet us. Then they asked us to wait in the lounge and 1 minute later they were ready. We were seated in a corner that kept getting knocked into. Waiter said he would be right with us 3 times- took 10 minutes to order water. Took another 15 minutes to get someone to come take our order. Minor things were forgotten, i.e. lemons for the water, bread, butter. Order was a little bit inaccurate- no bacon on the scallops, no cocktail sauce for the shrimp remoulade, didn't even bring the crab mac and cheese we ordered. Taste of food was not bad- not up to par, but not bad. Paying out was awkward, as I imagine waiter was embarrassed. Not a good experience for the price/expectation.

Thank you to our waiter Robin who made the evening delightful. Of course, the food was amazing as always. Truly our favorite steakhouse in DFW!

Still very good but the quality has gone down a bit. Steaks were too salty and the greens of the house salad were not very fresh.
