The best eating experience in the state of Tx.

The only reason I can’t give five stars is because it was our anniversary AND we just got engaged, but the experience just felt like any other night. I put that we were celebrating in the reservation notes and we told our waiter and the hostess. I was hoping for something more special, like HAPPY ANNIVERSARY written on the dessert or something... something small. The manager came over and told us that dessert was on the house since it was a special night. But when we got our check, we realized we were charged for dessert as well. Don’t get me wrong, it was all very good and it was good service and we paid for the dessert and didn’t say anything about it until just now. It just didn’t feel that special.

Great from start to finish! We had wonderful service from both our server and the sommelier. The food is always good and the wine list full of tasty treats.

Ambiance and waiter (Darryl) was excellent. Salmon appetizer and main entrees were fabulous and worth every penny.

Side items/salad are too pricey (we ordered four). All very good...but 15.00 for a side salad or mashed potatoes??

If ancillary items on the menu (such as noted above) were less expensive, we would dine here more frequently.

All in all a wonderful experience.

My boyfriend and I were celebrating his birthday dinner at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. I have to say the server and the manager were all very accommodating. Food was amazing, drinks were strong and the desert was the icing on the cake. We enjoyed the XL cheesecake for the next three days. I would definitely recommend celebrating every occasion here, and we will absolutely be returning for our next.

Outstanding, everything from cocktails to dinner to desert was fantastic. Excellent service and quality of food was tremendous. Highly recommended!

Great food and great experience. Extremely loud environment and conversations can be a challenge. Although the overall dining experience is very high, the over selling by the wait staff is annoying and the extreme price points on the menu takes away from the overall experience.

There are several places in DFW where you can have a very similar if not better dining experience (III Forks, Bob’s, Al Biernat’s, etc) where you do not feel as exploited.

We had a wonderful time. A table next to us asked to add chairs to their table and management went above and beyond to make sure we were still comfortable. Wonderful food, wonderful experience.

The sommelier Brian does not know his wine. He also spilled wine on the table when pouring it. He recommended $130 bottle that I was willing to pay for but I asked him if I do not like it can we send it back. He said NO. So we got it and did not like. Our second bottle I ordered was 1/3 the price and much better. The service was not great. The steaks were ok but not great.They did not and could not find the certificate for the top of the line Wagyu beef steak we ordered which is unusual and not acceptable for a respectable place

Got put in a table way in the back by an exit and wine cellar not the best ambiance for a birthday dinner. Otherwise Zack was great and good was fabulous

Sorry the steak didn’t have the flavor I was anticipating. I must wait was a little disappointing. However, it’s probably the steak that I ordered.

Definitely a great place to eat all kinds of excellent steaks including special Japanese beef.
We were however disappointed with the side dish that we ordered. It says in the menu "wild mushrooms" When they are in fact the regular grown Crimini or white mushrooms found in any store year round.
The prices are also very inflated.
We ate in the room that has a great atmosphere with a burning fire but where the lights are so low that we could no really see our food. Dim light is fine but that was too much.

Very disappointed in service and wait for seating after arriving at 7:05 for a 7:15 reservation. After host realized we were skipped over, we were placed at entry of kitchen with high traffic around 7:40. Then, waited forever to get order in until mgt saw expression on my face and asked if she could take order. Not the kind of experience i have been used to especially after spending over $500 for dinner for 4 guest last night. Finally left at closing 10pm

Update: Received a call from General Mgr regarding my comment. He wanted to know more detail about my experience. He listened patiently and apologized about the service. He proceeded to address the situation for which I am satisfied. Will return in near future for the quality service that I was use to before this unfortunate incident. Really means something when mgt calls to find out what happened from customers point of view.

As usual this is by far the best steak restaurant in town. We even tried some new items and were so impressed with the quality of the food

Outstanding anniversary dinner

It was amazing, I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and he absolutely loved it.

Our 50th wedding anniversary and decided on Pappas Brothers Steakhouse to celebrate. Everything was excellent, from arriving, welcome from the staff, the waitress and the excellent food. I would definitely dine there again.

Jonathan was our Waiter and he thoroughly explained everything to our fiancé and I..even made sure to include the off menu dishes as well. Incredible hospitality and the food was AMAZING! My fiancé is a VERY picky eater, especially with his steak, but Pappas Bros left him absolutely speechless after his first bite. I had the dry aged prime ribeye 16oz, and he has a 14 oz New York strip with a side of skillet potatoes that were absolutely phenomenal. Bottom line, words will fail to express how great of an experience this was, if you have the opportunity to go, or if you’re on the fence about giving it a try, please do! You won’t regret it!

Definitely enjoyed the bacon-wrapped buffalo, very tasty, and the gooey pecan pie dessert was awesome!

I never dreamed that I would post a bad review of a place that I absolutely love and have gone to many times. Last night for veteran’s day I carried on a tradition where he and I would go have a steak. He passed away a few years ago but I still carry on the tradition and enjoy a nice meal with my pops. The food was great but the service was very standoffish and very odd compared to my normal service. I always recommend this place to everyone who ever asks me where to go for steak house. The saving grace was my just out of training waitress named Serena. Not a seasoned veteran not a manager but a brand new waitress. Only 4 people talked to me the entire time I was there. One of which I asked for a napkin that never returned with it. There was a manager that had literally stared at me the entire time. I made mentioned it to Serena that all the sudden I have manager after manager asking me how my night is.

Steak was great, waiter was great.
