The valet drivers completely take away from a wonderful evening. We had 5 people for a business dinner and had a wonderful meal and experience. We then went out to leave the valet actually banged on the window to hurry us up. Drop over 1k for dinner for 5 then have a valet beat on your window to make you leave. Not happy.
Absolutely fabulous! Great steak, great side dishes and wonderful dessert. It was truly a highlight of our mini-vacation!
It’s was my 4th anniversary
Every time we go to Papa's it never ever has been a disappointment! The service, quality of all of their dishes, are just simply Great.
We were seated in the wine room. Beautiful setting! My wife started with a Patron margarita and I had an ounce of 15 year old Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. We both had a dinner salad that was topped two strips of bacon. My wife had a 16oz strip with back potato. I had the salmon topped with lump crab meat, shrimp and cappers. We also had asparagus and marinated mushrooms. For dessert I wife and cream Brulé with berries and I had the pecan pie with praline ice cream. Everything was cooked perfectly. The highlight of the evening was the service. Top of the line!
Exceptional from the moment you walk in to the time you pull out of the parking lot, every time!
We arrived a little late for our reservation but were seated promptly. Great booth/location. Our server, Gerry, was also a sommelier which was awesome since we wanted assistance with wine selection. His recommendation was perfect (2013 Chateau de Saint Cosme). Manager, Alberto, was also wonderful and added much to our experience. Our steak arrived (sharable) with great presentation. We were looking forward to our first time ever experience for "Table Side Carving." Unfortunately, our steak was under cooked and was sent back. When it came back to table, it was on the serving platter and so we didn't get the actual 'table side' experience. The outer steak was (to me) a bit over charred. I do like some char but this was extra. Having to go back on the broiler probably did this. The inside was tender and buttery. The chef picked a great cut per our request for the "chuck end". Our sides of broiled asparagus (we requested broiling) was tender and flavorful. The sauce (on the side) was perfect flavor and consistency. They are famous for their lump crab mac and cheese so we definitely ordered that! We frequent many a steak house and appreciate the unspoken rivalry for best Mac n Cheese. The absolute, most stand alone, highlight of the evening/meal was the dessert. NEW YORK CHEESE CAKE. The first bite was a bliss indescribable. I am forever ruined for anyone else's cheese cake. We had to make ourselves stop eating this ginormous slice (enough for 4 people). I'm glad we did because we enjoyed the rest with our coffee next morning! And yes, we did try the brew coffee, their own house blend, and it was phenomenal in aroma and flavor. This was my first time at Pappas Bros and I was greatly impressed overall.
Some of the best steak you will ever eat. Prepared perfectly.
Todo esta de primera, la carne exquisita los postres deliciosos el servicio de primera vale la pena pagar el precio
Henry, our waiter, provided exceptional service! He guided us through the menu recommending the Lobster Deviled Eggs and the Tomahawk Ribeye. Both were excellent! We finished of the dinner with the Pecan Pie which was outstanding!
Amazing Food, Amazing Service, Amazing everything. That is really all you can say!!!
The sommelier was fantastic. He was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Service, as well as the food, is always great!
Really topnotch. John Trevino was a wonderful server. The Texas waygu strip was fantastic and the prime filet was maybe the juiciest I have eaten. The Wedge salad and Peach cobbler contributed to a fantastic dinner!!
There is no doubt that the food is very good. It just seems a bit expensive for a single person to $100 for a 10oz NY Strip, two sides, cup of soup and a soda.
Excellent service with a very knowledgeable server. Food was top notch. Can’t wait to go back
Fantastic restaurant that serve a nice grade of meat and excellent customer service.
The server was horrible, who picks up the check and removes the glassware before we’re ready to end the dinner... Our server who pushed and pushed us though the dinner.. had to remind her we put a cocktail order in.. then a dirty vodka martini came as gin... it goes to show poor service kills the overall dinner.. the woman was pleasant, but just not qualified to work in a steakhouse.. on another note the bartenders are pros.. only wished they were taking care of us all evening.. I’ll come again, but wouldn’t bring another couple.. I refuse to kill other guest evening in my party..
Last note, the guy who filled the water and took care of us all evening, I tried to give $20.00, but he refused to take it... said he was doing his job and it wasn’t necessary.. maybe he should be given the full tip..
We ate at the bar and were served by Brittany who was AMAZING! She is customer-focused, smart, anticipated our requests, made great suggestions and never missed a beat. Sit at the bar, ask for Brittany and have a great evening.
Most amazing waiter ever he helped us with food choices and informative on restaurant
We celebrated my husband's birthday at Pappas Bros. this weekend and everything was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a place to mark a special occasion, this is the place to do it. We had a party of five who had different tastes so we ended up with a meal that included the lobster deviled eggs, salmon, beef carpaccio, crab cakes, steaks (of course), peach cobbler and turtle pie. Oh and did I mention the champagne toast we started the evening with? Service was also excellent - knowledgeable and personable but not overly attentive. We will definitely be back. Thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful evening.
Our server was wonderful and the food was fabulous. It’s a bit pricy but it falls in line with your standard 5 star restaurant pricing (actually was a little less than the others we’ve visited).
Incredible restaurant. Service, food and ambiance is top notch
Great service and food as always. Also the octopus was to die for.
Great spot. Service was wonderful and so was the food. We had a spectacular time.
Exceeded our expectations by a million! If you have an opportunity to go for a special occasion make it happen!!!
Had a nice dinner with my family. Service and food was great as always.
Very expensive but very very good!
Next time instead of caesar salad I will opt for the clam chowder. Filet very tender and delicious! We've eaten here many times over the years and high quality has never been compromised.
Frequent Pappa Bros Steakhouse on the regular but however this time did not at all meet expectations. Some of the food was cold. Waiter took forever to bring drinks and at first even denied that their restaurant carried sweet red wines. This was a lie, he brought it but instead of pouring it in a wine class he poured it in a slim champagne glass. Was not at all satisfied. But let me also add that none of the steaks were cooked right. He left crumbs and plates everywhere on the table and did not take any of those off. Never had a horrible experience like this there but this time I did.
As always an excellent experience. Great service and food. Turtle gumbo was fantastic. Cool interior design and vibe. Steaks were perfectly prepared. Will definitely return.
Pappas brothers is simply the best steak restaurant, not just in Dallas, but in the U.S.
This is one of America's great steak houses. When traveling to Dallas, make sure you stop by and have their prime dry-aged bone-in ribeye steak.
Very good but i found it much too expensive. Everything seperate.10 baked potoato.nothing on plate with 52 dollar steak. That was a small filet. Prefer Chamberlains. At least you get something for ten less.very good too but louder. Our wine was 90 bottle. Only other price i saw on wine menu was over 200.this was a quick look while waiter held menu and pointed out nice wine.
The service was impeccable. The food was perfect in every aspect. We continue to choose Pappas Bros for any and all our occasions of celebration. They never fail us, we will be back!! Thank you.
This is our “go to” spot for celebrations. The staff is top notch, very knowledgeable regarding all of their offerings, whether food or drink. They have a fair cigar selection, but very fresh, and a bit on the high side (3-4Xs normal retail).
Ambience is perfect for small groups or a romantic dinner. Every steak will melt in your mouth.
Food was absolutely delicious. The wine the waitress picked for us was excellent. Waitress was very attentive Ambiance was great. Can’t say enough good things about this place.
The food and service hit every note perfectly. They even remembered my unique requests from my last visit. This was an incredible dinner.
Great food, great service. Will go back again. Best porterhouse I have ever had. The dry aging makes a difference!!
Great service, the most delicious meal we’ve ever eaten and a nice atmosphere
Service, food and venue were very good. We typically go to Pappas Bros. Steakhouse for events and we always walk away very satisfied. Specific wait staff such as Henry and Jonathan make the evenings go smoothly and enjoyable.
The food was excellent, wine was good and service was outstanding. However, we came here last year and it seemed better then as opposed to now. I don't think we will be back unfortunately. The restaurant was very loud and hard to talk to my husband at dinner. It was hot and crowded also. For the price it seems as if they have shoved too many tables in the space.
