Great food and service as always.
Excelente servicio !!! Altamente recomendado!! ✌️✌️✌️
Food was excellent as always and the service was impeccable! Scott our server was amazing, funny, and attentive. I highly recommend coming here for amazing food and awesome service!
My partner and I decided to share the steakhouse salad which was very good, and then followed with the house specialties; a New York strip and a Ribeye. Both were delicious and cook to perfection.
Side orders of skillet potatoes and onion rings were very tasty.
Service from our waiter and from the sommelier were impeccable, always attentive and well mannered.
And the wine list!!!!
Definitely a world class restaurant and worth the price.
I'm a steak enthusiast and have been to some of the best steak houses in the country (e.g. Peter Luger) and Pappas is easily my first choice overall. The menu is rich, the food is amazing, and the price you pay when compared to other places is very reasonable given the quality and service you get.
The selection of bourbons and wines is amazing and the waiters there are out of this world. I've been to Pappas twice in the past month and both visits were consistently great. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Great service. Excellent sommelier service - Dee was great with wine selections. We did two bottles. Our main dish was cold - they fixed it right away and then comped it without being asked. It was a high value main dish. I put it down to being a bit short staffed due to Covid - I know my business has similar personnel issues. But the way they handled the issue means we will be back and recommend this restaurant.
1st Time at Pappa's Steakhouse for our Anniversary. It was great! Our Sommelier was very knowledgeable on our wine selection. The steak was cooked perfectly and we have a fun time.
Amazing service, incredible meals, absolutely perfect anniversary dinner.
We went to celebrate a special occasion. The ambiance and food were excellent, but our waitress was bad; she was almost throwing the plates on our table and did not show too much care on a great service , the assistants were more careful and attentive to us. When steaks were Served she did not even asked if we were happy or ask any question.
I will most definitely be coming back this place is highly recommended
Food was great, as was the service. Its a little pricey, so we only get to eat here a couple times a year
This may be the top steakhouse in the country. Fantastic wine list, presented by a knowledgeable, but down to earth sommelier.
Service always exceeds my expectation. This visit was no exception.
The taste of the food and presentation are exceptional.
Good food, good service, good value, noisy atmosphere. Very hard to hear across the table even early in the evening.
Pappas Bros is always an excellent dining experience. The food, atmosphere, and service was exceptional.
Delicioso pero un poco oscuro para cena en el salón principal
Pappas Brothers steakhouse always deliver as promised, the restaurant and service was impeccable. My favorite place to dine. The noise level was pretty bad in the room we were seated in. 2 tables of large group patrons were pretty loud. But other than that we had a great evening.
Excelente comida y servicio. Precio acorde al nivel del restaurante. Muy buena elección.
If you have a deep wallet, do not hesitate to habe diner at Pappa’s Bros.
Food, Service and atmosphere 10 points.
The 18 oz. Rib Eye steak had extra gristle and that made it a little tough, but was cooked to a perfect medium rare. My companions had the smaller Rib Eyes and they were perfect.
Great time flew in from Chicago just for a new joint to experience during covid. Would definitely come back if on the area
Nos recibieron muy amablemente y la cena estuvo de muy buena calidad, las bebidas excelente, postre riquísimo. Atención de primer nivel.
Simply the best. No other steakhouse comes close. Customer for life.
Great place. I had the NY strip and was well cooked and the baked potato was awesome
Best ever. Been to many national and local fine dining steak houses and Pappas Brothers is the best. Only complaint is we live 4 hours away and can't visit as often as we would like. Maybe Pappas Brothers can open another location in Oklahoma.
I've been wanting to come to Pappas for steak since arriving in Dallas 4 years ago. I should have come sooner. This restaurant is very effectively run, producing outstanding meals, a wonderful ambience and superb food.
Portions are huge (although you can determine how big your steak will be depending upon what steak you choose, assuming you go for steak). So my partner and I split 5 items, starting with the signature Pappas Steakhouse Salad. Really delicious, even though I don't love field greens. So much wonderful flavor!
We split a 12 oz Filet Mignon, sizzling hot on delivery in a modest butter sauce, perfectly cooked to order. The outside was crispy with a tender, tasty center. Sensational !
We also split both green beans (also perfectly cooked) and mushrooms (just a tad too salty for our preference but probably just fine for everyone else). Again, huge portions which we ended up taking home.
Desert was Peach Pie a la mode, so incredibly delicious (and piping hot) with wonderful crumbled cinnamon sugar topping. We loved it!
The wine list here is truly incredible (and the high prices to match!) but you'll be hard pressed to find better choices in the city of Dallas, price notwithstanding. And also, let's not forget the full loaf of delicious sour dough bread, served right off the bat, very hot with real butter.
This is truly a special occasion location (we even witnessed a marriage proposal at the table just next to us!!). Consider splitting every dish to get best value. Can't wait to go back.
The service was excellent and the food was perfect. Had a great dining experience. The perfect way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
The service was slow. The steak wasn’t any better than what I can make at home. The salmon with crab was good.
Our waitress, Cassie, was outstanding and so were the wine folks. Great meal!
Sides are forgettable and I have had much better tasting steak. When a steak is good, you don’t need anything to go with it. The steak was a good piece of meat, but lacking great flavor. I had the bone in filet.
I’ve been to all of the upscale steakhouses is in the Dallas Fort Worth area and Pappas Brothers beat everyone of them and it’s not even close.
Simply the best. Best staff, best steak. This is the standard others try to make. There are better locations but do you want the best restaurant in DFW or something cool to look at?
Went to Pappas Bros for our anniversary. Food was really good although I wouldn’t say anything better than other top steakhouses. The service however was amazing. We had multiple people check in on us and converse with us throughout the evening. Value was about like you’d expect at an upscale steakhouse...maybe a little on the pricey side. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
I am a senior, educated, world traveled domestic and international and live in San Francisco area and I was looking forward to a great boned in 22 oz ribeye, rare plus, after reading all the fine reviews that Pappas is the best steakhouse in Dallas. Well, I was very underwhelmed as the ribeye did not live up to expectation. There is no WOW factor to the marbled meat, and was very disappointed compared to other great steaks I have. The lobster bisque highly recommended by the waiter, was also who cares type flavor. So, overall just an average experience. Service is very good however. I would not recommend Pappas. Others say that Nick and Sam's has better tasting steaks. I will try that during my 5 days visit in Dallas.
Steak preparation was perfect. Great place and decor.
Well our waiter came back to the table to correct his own notes about our order and still managed to bring us the same wrong item he wrote down. Then when they did bring the green beans, they tasted like they completely forgot to season them at all. Steak was good, for the price though I expect everything to be perfect coming out of that kitchen, not just ok, wouldn’t go back
Pappa’s has never disappointed us! The atmosphere was outstanding, we celebrated our 24th anniversary and as usual they were the best! Our server was awesome and the food was even better!
I've reviewed before that the food, drinks & service are impeccable. My only issue is with the amount of noise (which I know the restaurant has minimal control over. A nice quiet dinner is what I would preferred, but we were having to repeat ourselves not only to each other but to the waitstaff (I'm glad everyone was wearing masks but as we all know it makes for muffled voices. Also unavoidable.) Next time I'll choose a quieter time to dine, or I'd gladly show up with earplugs haha just give me that steak!!
Alex did a great job! Food is always delicious; service is exceptional.
