    Took my mom here for her 77th birthday and was so happy it was still decorated for Christmas, what a beautiful sight! The food and drinks were amazing and the cost for 4 of us was reasonable! Would definitely come back to Papillon Bistro and Bar when I visit NYC!

    Papillon is a great spot in midtown for lunch. I’m obsessed with their chicken pesto sandwich. Service was excellent. It’s a bit pricey but a great place to go for an upscale lunch. We were lucky that the Christmas decorations were still up!! They are outstanding.

    The food is very bad. The attentions are very good, but it is a very informal atmosphere (to the extreme). The regular prices for the food they offer, but eating here is the same as going to Wendys, Fridays or Olive Garden... fast Food! A disaster.

    Saw the waitress one time to order. Then never saw her again. Had to find another waiter to get our check. I asked for the soup of the day; I was told creamy lobster. Sounded really good. Ended up getting tomato basil soup. Rest of my families dinner looked good. I was disappointed with my soup.

    The entire visit was wonderful. From the beautiful Christmas decorations to the staff this place is a gem! Definitely will be back on my next visit ! Do not sleep on this place!
