Papa Razzi - Framingham Ratings and Reviews
This was the first time service was poor at this location from both service staff and management. It took a long time to place orders, the main entrees came out when we were still eating our appetizers ( table was too small to hold both- I was left holding my appetizer plate trying to finish it before it was taken away- no one seemed to care). When clearing the table a glass was broken ( glass went in my lap). Nothing was offered to make up for this accident. Then when the waiter gave us the bill he mentioned as an afterthought that a desert was free for the birthday guest. It was all around a disappointing experience.
My friend and I were so pleased with our meal here after a long day of shopping! One of us is gluten free, so we decided to try this restaurant. Happy to say the gluten free food was delicious - even a yummy gluten free roll to use with their dipping sauce. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience and we'll definitely return when we're on our next shopping extravaganza!
Went to Papa Razzi for a pre-theater meal. The hostess was able to seat our party of 6 promptly at a nice table. We informed the waitress that we were on a tight schedule and she made sure that our orders were taken quickly and served promptly. Three of us had the Bolognese which is always great and the others had ravioli. One person who had the ravioli special thought it was a little too sweet for her liking but everyone else enjoyed their meal.
I recommend Papa Razzi for a nice meal out at a restaurant that presents itself as being more upscale than it's menu prices reflect. So its a nice place to eat without a hefty tab.
First time at Paparazzi. We each had salads, they were very good. I ordered the Rigatoni, it was ok, not much flavor to it, salt helped. Friend ordered the risotto with asparagus, they forgot the asparagus, the risotto was very good though. The waiter took forever with our drinks. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I mean $17 for pasta? Maybe if it was handmade in the kitchen.
We had a great time at Pappa Razzi on Monday night. They are running a super nice special, so our meals were extremely reasonable. The kitchen was incredibly accommodating of all the various dietary needs at the table. We will be going back!
My favorites included the beef carpaccio, and the filet balsamico. My biggest disappointment was being told about a special ordering it and having the waiter come back to tell that the could no longer serve it. Others especially liked the Panna Cotta with passion fruit sauce.
I have been to Pappa Razzi a few times and IMHO, it is well above what you typically get at chains. Our dinner started with great fresh bread and a great shrimp appetizer. For our entrees I had the Veal Shank Special which was delicious and my wife had the Chicken Picatta. Desert was a great lemon flavored cake which we loved. The service by Mary was top notch, professional!
We stayed simple... Caesar salad, Beef Carpaccio, Grilled Chicken. The chow was very good and served nicely. I've noticed on recent visits the veggies on the grilled chicken were very sparse... would suggest they serve a more reasonable portion. My Stella on tap was almost flat... replaced with a perfect Stella.
Everything was great until we left. I went with my wife, brother, and his girlfriend. My brother and I each gave a credit card to split the bill in half. We failed to check the receipt. When my brother got home he noticed they had charged the entire bill to his card. They also charged half the bill to my card. When you go there just check your bill before you leave.
Food and service was outstanding. We were celebrating a birthday for my 93 year old dad and they made him feel very special. Veal and steaks were some of the best we've had. Half Caesar salads were also good and large. Waitress made an effort to have me pick out a bday dessert without anyone seeing. It was sent over "on the house" which was lovely.
We had a really nice meal here. The food was wonderful; I had the grilled shrimp and linguine special and my wife had ravioli with house red sauce. Our waitress Mary was awesome, she was attentive without ever being distracting. We even had dessert and coffee, something we rarely do. It made an ordinary dinner out a special evening.
