It’s a shame it’s closing. Great food great staff. All the best to the people who work here
Sad this restaurant will not be in the area. Past visits have always been good. Disappointed open table did not post the restaurant was closing the night I made the reservations
Unfortunately this location closes in two days!! So it’s all academic.
Service was over and above...hostess well trained and knowledgeable...going to miss this location...
Consistently good Italian food and a pleasant atmosphere.
Unfortunately, thus Papa Razzi is closing on 12/31/17 😢 We will miss it!!!
Celebrating an engagement
Everything was perfect except for my salmon. It was overcooked.
My family went to Papa Razzi for Christmas Eve dinner. Nobody liked their meal. 3 meals of the 4 were overly acidic, like the cook squeezed an entire lemon on each plate. My husbands pasta was too al dente. The waitress was distracted every time she approached the table. Lastly, our glasses of wine tasted watered down. Would not recommend this restaurant. Total disappointment.
We dined here early on Christmas Eve. The menu is a bit heavy on pasta (yes, it is Italian) and chicken, and I wish there were more beef, fish and pork dishes available. Ivis was our waiter, and he did a great job taking care of us. Was sad to learn that this location (Framingham) of Paparazzi is closing on 12/13/17. Apparently, the rent became too high when Framingham decided to become "a city". So, will have to go to Wellesley location from now on. Too bad, because the Framingham location had it over Wellesley like a tent in my opinion. Plenty of easy parking, a much bigger spot and more ambiance. The Wellesley location always seems noisy, crowded and filled with kids; not exactly where you'd want to go for a "relaxing" meal.
Food was awesome!
They have high standards!
The waiter made a mistake keying in my husband’s order and so he did it over, they were busy, so it took awhile and the restaurant comped his meal.
The bread was warm focaccia for gluten eaters, my husband was served a gluten free roll.
The beef carpaccio is a nice shared appetizer or a light salad for one.
I loved my filet balsamico, but next time I would ask to sub the roast potatoes with a green vegetable.
My husband wolfed his gluten free chicken parmigiana, but the pasta was under it was nothing special. He has liked the penne pollo pasta better in the past. (What they accidentally made first. Had they offered it to him, he probably would have eaten it happily. )
My son finished his chicken piccata and the risotto it was served with.
The tiramisu was rich and I had just a few bites and took the rest home.
Sadly, their landlord raised the rent so much they are closing the Framingham location.
Nice Chow... But Closing Soon... We had a very nice dinner tonight. Enjoyed the antipasto, a pizza, caesar salad, beef carpaccio, gnocchi, grilled chicken, and brownie w/gelato for dessert. Nice wine by the glass and cocktails. Service from Melissa was excellent... friendly and attentive.
Sad to hear that they are closing this location after 12/31/17 as they couldn't come to terms with the landlord. They have other locations, but stop by to get a last meal in before they close up here. Just a few days left!!
A great restaurant but found out this location is closing for good on 12/31/17. Shame, as their other locations are just not convenient for me.
I went there with my family for Dinner. The service was good. The pasta dishes were very good, the Minestrone soup was sub-par, the salad was OK, but the brownie sundae desert was excellent.
We had an EXCELLENT server who was attentive and helpful. The food was excellent. It was crowded yet wait times for food were very short. My only complaint - big booths that make it hard for folks to move about for bathroom breaks -5 people in a round booth is not convenient. I would MUCH prefer a table. Also, the booth was VERY tight for sitting. I was very uncomfortable. Luckily the food and company made it bearable.
Hostess, Jessy was so accommodating..friendly...knew plenty about gluten free options ..and checked on us frequently!
Birthday that’s it that’s it
Great food, as always, but extremely disappointed to hear they are closing this store at the end of the month ☹
I was disappointed in my eggplant dish. Very small amount of eggplant, lots of cheesy pasta.
Everything was excellent..will definitely return
This was the first time service was poor at this location from both service staff and management. It took a long time to place orders, the main entrees came out when we were still eating our appetizers ( table was too small to hold both- I was left holding my appetizer plate trying to finish it before it was taken away- no one seemed to care). When clearing the table a glass was broken ( glass went in my lap). Nothing was offered to make up for this accident. Then when the waiter gave us the bill he mentioned as an afterthought that a desert was free for the birthday guest. It was all around a disappointing experience.
Unfortunately I have heard that this restaurant is closing at the end of this year.
My friend and I were so pleased with our meal here after a long day of shopping! One of us is gluten free, so we decided to try this restaurant. Happy to say the gluten free food was delicious - even a yummy gluten free roll to use with their dipping sauce. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience and we'll definitely return when we're on our next shopping extravaganza!
Service was impeccable...went over and above to make sure our meals were perfect! Hostess was personable..went out of her way to check in on us through out our meal! 😀😀
Excellent & tasty food, great service, lovely ambience, warm staff
Went to Papa Razzi for a pre-theater meal. The hostess was able to seat our party of 6 promptly at a nice table. We informed the waitress that we were on a tight schedule and she made sure that our orders were taken quickly and served promptly. Three of us had the Bolognese which is always great and the others had ravioli. One person who had the ravioli special thought it was a little too sweet for her liking but everyone else enjoyed their meal.
I recommend Papa Razzi for a nice meal out at a restaurant that presents itself as being more upscale than it's menu prices reflect. So its a nice place to eat without a hefty tab.
My husband thought the chicken parmesan was about the best he's had. My beet salad was good, but the panzanella there is even better. Our server, Caryn, was outstanding. She timed everything perfectly and was very friendly and pleasant.
First time at Paparazzi. We each had salads, they were very good. I ordered the Rigatoni, it was ok, not much flavor to it, salt helped. Friend ordered the risotto with asparagus, they forgot the asparagus, the risotto was very good though. The waiter took forever with our drinks. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I mean $17 for pasta? Maybe if it was handmade in the kitchen.
Family of four out for a Saturday evening meal. 1 chicken piccata, 2 spaghetti bolognese and 1 lobster tortelloni. All were excellent.
Our server was at the table at all the right times and was very pleasant. We loved the bruschetta appetizer as well as our salad and ravioli.
We had a great time at Pappa Razzi on Monday night. They are running a super nice special, so our meals were extremely reasonable. The kitchen was incredibly accommodating of all the various dietary needs at the table. We will be going back!
My favorites included the beef carpaccio, and the filet balsamico. My biggest disappointment was being told about a special ordering it and having the waiter come back to tell that the could no longer serve it. Others especially liked the Panna Cotta with passion fruit sauce.
It's a great place to have dinner. Five of my friends had a wonderful dinner Everyone was pleased. The server was great and the value on Monday evenings is great.
We had an excellent experience on a busy Sat. night, with two small children in tow. Our waitress Marion was attentive, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to our party. Really enjoyed the meal. Will be back for sure.
The food was fantastic, the waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. I thought the food was expensive, but the dining experience was wonderful.
I have been to Pappa Razzi a few times and IMHO, it is well above what you typically get at chains. Our dinner started with great fresh bread and a great shrimp appetizer. For our entrees I had the Veal Shank Special which was delicious and my wife had the Chicken Picatta. Desert was a great lemon flavored cake which we loved. The service by Mary was top notch, professional!
Great service and attention to details. User friendly.
Although my husband ordered bolognese, it was pretty much meatless. When he spoke to the manager about this, he was told the meat was ground so fine he just couldn't see it! He did offer to tell the chef about our comment. Really?
Our server and the manager were excellent! We have food allergies and they did an amazing job as usual which is why we come back!! Thank you!!
We requested a quiet table and received an excellent one, far away from the crowds. The food is very good, not great, but consistent. The server was a little to anxious from my perspective, interrupting several conversations over the course of the evening.
This place is pretty consistent and they are knowledgable about gluten free needs. My meal was very good and I even got a gluten free roll that was warm on the inside and crunchy on the outside. I have been before and will go again. The waitress was great.
