Papa Razzi-Concord Ratings and Reviews
Took my 92-year-old mother-in-law here for lunch. Server was extremely accommodating and very informative. We both had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. I'm a regular, since this is centrally located for a lot of friends. Food is always good. Nice portions. Pasta is always al dente. Space is very comfortable and not noisy, even when filled. Place is very popular, so I always make a reservation, even for lunch. So glad we have this nearby (~20 minutes away). Been coming here for ages.
We appreciated the waitress letting us know up front that half-portions were available for several of the dishes, including the mushroom risotto and the wonderful soup of the evening (a butternut/celeriac blend). As a group that ranged in age from 51 to 95, we were grateful for the ability to order smaller portions. Thanks Papa for offering this option!
I've eaten here before and the menu is a bit limited for vegetarians, as even the items that seem vegetarian at first glance have some type of meat ingredient when you look a little closer. The atmosphere is nice though and it's convenient to get to, being right next to the highway. Our waitress this evening was a bit too friendly and engaging, when we would have liked to enjoy our quiet meal, she was a bit intrusive and over-attentive. Will come back again!
We are quasi-regulars at this establishment. We chose Papa-Razzi to celebrate the holiday season with close friends and had a wonderful time. Even though our entire party did not arrive on time, the restaurant graciously seated those of us who were there. The food was great as usual, and the service was superb. The Bistecca alla Brace was cooked exactly as ordered for each person.
We highly recommend the Concord, MA Papa-Razzi location!
We usually take advantage of Mangia Monday, but missed it because of a prior commitment this week. So we went on Tuesday instead. Weather outside was cold and frosty, so we were happy to have some "comfort" entrees. I had Cavatappi Affumicati, a satisfying plate of pasta, smoked eggplant, tomato and cheese. My mister had Penne con Pollo. Before our entrees we shared our favorite Panzanella salad.
Gracious service, as always, from our Veneta!
We all ordered one of the specials and each one was just ok with the scallops being our least favorite. Papas is one of our regular places and usually is solid and consistent. The last 4 visits it’s the food that is noticeably subpar. Service is ok except when we have Greg, who is phenomenal and a true professional in his field.
Freshness and quality of the food has gone down and it’ saddens us to think we will need to find a new place that will become our regular go to. I hope things improve!
It was very busy Saturday night. We had a reservation and they took us right in. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought a chocolate mousse cake with candle. All very nice. This is a large restaurant so if you are looking for intimate and quiet, this is not for you. However, everything was very good.
Had driven by this location many times, but had no idea what a gem we were missing! The interior was very classy and charming. A wood-burning fireplace created a nice atmosphere with a very at-home feel. The service was fantastic, our waitress was very friendly, stopped by many times, and gave great recommendations. The focacia bread as an appetizer was amazing, we wanted to just eat more of that for our meal! Our entrees were fantastic as well, we had the lobster special for the night and the gnocchi meal. We definitely plan to return to try out more menu items!
