   Wonderful food, atmosphere and our waiter was awesome!! It’s easy to see why Papa joes has been around for 90 years!! And we were surprised with a bottle of wine in celebration of the restaurant’s anniversary. Nice touch. Much appreciated

   We ate here for the first time in years, and the food was incredible. We got there at the busiest time of day, but because we had a reservation, we were seated immediately, and the server was there within a minute. Nancy was so good, so efficient, so attentive. We can't wait to go back. We can't say enough nice things about the experience.

   Date night for my husband and I. I got trout as usual. It is always outstanding. My husband tried the special of pork chop wrapped in some time of ham with whipped sweet potato’s on the bottom and fruit on top. He loved it. Ronnie was so attentive as always. I could not ask for a better server.

    The seared salmon was delicious as was the white French dressing on the salads. Nice bottle of wine suggested by our server made for a nice evening. Always love to go to Papa Joe’s!

    Very disappointed. After making the reservation here a week before the show, I called the restaurant and told them we wanted seated as close to Frank and Dean (entertainers) as possible. They said in front of the fireplace had been sold out for 2 weeks, but they would seat us the closest they could. They also said the entertainers would walk around so others not seated in front of them would be able to see and hear them. They seated us in the bar in the very last booth. It was very loud and we had no view of the entertainers. We could not hear the words they sang, just some distant music. They said they couldn't seat the 4 of us closer as all the other booths were reserved. Even though we had a reservation they seated us in booth that did not have a reservation card placed on the table. We noticed most of the 'reserved' seats in the booths in the bar were empty until almost 7:00, so clearly those people did not go for the entertainment. There was still an empty booth when we left. We've been to Papa Joe's many times over the years and this was the worst experience we've ever had. Our reservation meant nothing and when we said we couldn't hear them, it was 'oh, well, too bad' attitude. We went there specifically for last night's entertainment, bought their expensive dinners and didn't get to enjoy the show. We asked them to please turn the music up and they didn't. Very disappointed.

    We were there a little over a week ago on a Sunday night -- a group of 4. Service was outstanding even though our server, Mike, had a table of 12 right by us that kept him on his toes. We had the zucchini appetizer as well as a clam appetizer (it is a special for March). We always get the zucchini appetizer because we love it and it's a large serving. First time having the clams and they were amazing. Mike recommended the chicken francaise and it did not disappoint. We also had 3 different desserts, the lemon cake, cannolis, and the bread pudding (which he also recommended). All three desserts were delicious. One thing I was disappointed in was that there's no prime rib on Sundays :( But, we will be back this weekend and will get my prime rib fix then!

    Shawn was amazing. It was our first time visiting this restaurant and he was pretty accommodating and made us feel like we were old friends. The atmosphere and ambiance were great! We definitely will be back. The food was excellent and the portions were huge.

    Our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. Amanda made our evening and would highly recommend requesting her when you go. The homemade sauce is like nothing we have ever tasted and the desserts are phenomenal. We can’t wait to come back and even get something to go from the deli.

    Wednesday nights means prime rib! For non beef eaters, the Chicken Francesse is always a winner. Very pleasant service in this hometown favorite. Old fashioned "spaghetti and steak house" with a modern twist!

    Did not have the greatest experience at this restaurant. My girlfriend and I came here for our 3 Year Anniversary. The initial atmosphere of the place seemed nice when we first walked in. However, the experience we received from our waiter (Anthony) changed our entire perspective. When we ordered two glasses of red wine, the waiter came back with our glasses completely filled with ice, when we did not ask for ice in our wine. I asking for this to be corrected for my girlfriend's glass (since I had already finished half of my own glass by the time the waiter actually came back to our table - 20 mins later). He then stated, "I can pour out the ice from her glass, into a new glass without ice; or I can give you a new glass of wine since I'll have to poor this out anyway". I then replied, "I'd rather her have a new glass, since her current glass is full of ice and the wine would be watered down if you simply poured it into a new glass without ice". The waiter then became rude, inconsiderate, and pushy for us to finish our meals after this interaction. Once we received our bill for the night, we noticed that we were being charged for the replacement glass of wine, when it should not have been an extra charge to fix the mistake made by the waiter. When I asked for the extra charge to be fixed on our bill, the waiter gave us even more of an attitude, snatched my card off the table, and then stormed off without even so much as an apology. When he came back, he slammed the adjusted bill on the table, and did not say another word to us. We were the only people of color being served that night, and it feels like our treatment may have been racially motivated. Overall, the food wasn't terrible, but lacked flavor. Prices were very high for the lackluster food and service received. With the treatment we received from the waiter staff, I don't think we'll be planning another visit here anytime soon.

    It was very crowded and our server Stacey had a lot of people to take care of, but she did an outstanding job of keeping up and making us feel special. She’s a wonderful server. I’m always so happy to see her face when I come to Papa Joe’s. She’s just the best. Also, despite the crowd and it being a Saturday night, we got to our play in plenty of time. Many thanks to Stacey and everyone at Papa Joe’s.

    Every time we come to Papa Joe’s it’s a great experience! Waiters and waitresses who are not only knowledgeable but very nice and caring! The food is always great! My husband orders Chicken Marsala and it as fantastic as always!! I ordered one of the February specials, Cavateli with vodka sauce and baby scallops! It was delicious!! Great value too!

    We were seated immediately at a lovely table by a beautiful fireplace. It all went down hill after that. The waiter was very pleasant but the service was at a snails pace. They were very overwhelmed. The bartender was horrible. A drink was made wrong. To help out the waiter I asked the bartender if she wouldn’t mind just fixing it and I would wait and take it back to the table. Instead she sent me and the incorrect drink back to the table to wait for the waiter. I felt like a student at school being sent back to my desk. After 20 min my husband tried to do the same thing I did, and he too was sent back to the table scolded like a school kid. He found the manager and requested if he could fix the drink . The manager took the drink and another 20 min later nothing happened At this point we decided to leave. The bartender could have remade the drink in the beginning. Both my husband and I completely understand the restaurant being busy and understaffed, hence why we were happy to wait for her to make the drink. The drink was a grapefruit martini that she forgot to put the grapefruit juice in. Unfortunately, it was straight vodka with a sugar rim. Anyways, We left- not a person noticed and we will not be back.

    Very friendly & attentive service from our waiter, Michael. Delicious food, generous portions, cozy ambiance. Only improvement I will suggest is staying open until 10 pm instead of 9 pm; but I do understand that restaurants are dealing with staffing shortages that may make that difficult.

    My wife, 13 year old daughter, and myself went there for Vday dinner. Had a reservation through open table. Arrived about 10 minutes early, waited maybe 5-10 minutes to be seated. Very nice ambiance. Better than pictures online. All 3 of us enjoyed our meal ( lemon chicken, filet, and spaghetti w meat sauce). Very nice selection of wine. Would definately visit again. Service was excellent.
