    Was there for a birthday, good food and good service early on a Tuesday evening. A bit noisy as they seated us right next to a large party and it was difficult to hear our own conversation without speaking very loudly.

    Exceeded expectations for a busy Mothers Day. Only drawback was limited special event menu. Appetizers were quick and tasty. Entrees were good, service efficient.

    Yesterday was the 2nd bad experience in a row. We decided we were not going to go back. We had an odd experience. A staff member (not our waitress) came to our table to serve our meal, but we noticed one of the orders was incorrect. The staff said ok and then went back into the kitchen. We waited another 30 minutes…all the tables around us arrived after us and left before us. When our correct meals came out, it was obvious that the 2 meals that were originally correct, were placed under a warmer or something similar. You could tell they were sitting for awhile and they were warm at best. I asked our waitress about it and she became defensive, which was odd. She didn’t think there were any delays or problems with our meals. I asked her if she noticed that all the patrons around us arrived after us and left before us (a couple she was servicing herself). She said she didn’t notice. She said she would get a manager, but never did. Mistakes happen. It’s how you manage them that makes all the difference. If they couldn’t prioritize making the correct meal, they should have remade all 3 meals. The waitress should have acknowledged the problem and explained to us what happened and what they were doing. And she should definitely not have become defensive. Candidly, her reaction made everything so much worse.

    This is a fantastic restaurant! The food was phenomenal and the service outstanding. The wine list is out of this world! I had to alter the number on my reservation and one call to the restaurant with a very cordial hostess and the issues was resolved. Don't miss this gem in the Merriman Valley!

    Reservation process was simple. We arrived shortly before the reservation time and were sitting within 5 minutes. Service was nice and quick. Good drinks, excellent food. Tiramisu was outstanding.

    Outstanding ownership and great/knowledgeable staff. All the dishes were excellent from Walleye to pasta. Always spot on and consistent. Great place for a celebration dinner/family meal.

    It has been over a year since our last visit to Papa Joe's. Then, the food was ok. Today the food was delicious! I always get the pork chop. It was cooked perfect this time and the flavor was outstanding. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana. He said it is by far the best he has had recently. As most all restaurants, the prices have increased significantly. But the value at Papa Joes is that you still get a soup/salad and a starch to go with your dinner with fresh rolls.

    Papa Joes is CONSISTENTLY the perfect choice for a delicious dinner, served by fun and efficient waiters and waitresses (Stacy is a standout…but they are all good). We come there frequently and have never ever anything but a terrific meal. Ambiance is great (not that interested in the piped in music or its volume)….but it’s still head and shoulders above about 95% of other restaurants we will never go to again because we go to enjoy our guests…not to have our conversations drowned out by annoying muzak….. or hard flooring without draperies to cushion the sound. I guess to sum it up, we LOVE PAPA JOE’S !!!!!!!!!!!
