Outstanding food. Great ambience, professional pleasant staff.
We enjoyed a mid-week dinner prior to a show at the Faena Theater - very pleasant evening. The classic Rusty Nail cocktail was well prepared, and the Hamachi appetizer - although gourmet-sized - was quite tasty with fresh green peas and shoots. We opted for the "whole duck", which was not presented whole and appeared to be comprised of two duck legs confit and a separately prepared sliced duck breast, appropriately rare, accompanied by a tangy duck sauce. Regardless of the possible menu discrepancy it was delicious. Overall it was a very fine meal in an attractive venue with attentive service, expensive consistent with expectations for Miami Beach hotel dining.
Bad service !!! The waiter could never have done NOISE to call our attention and made us stop talking .??? I NEVER saw that in my life
Great food & service at Faena. Miami Spice Menu was excellent
Nice place, good food, excelent service, very noisy
A group of six friends met here for dinner. The urchin had a great presentation but tasted pretty much like corn chowder. The portion sizes were very small. The three men in the group left very hungry. The ambiance was great, but the service was lacking. The waitress was very condescending and took forever. The hostess sat multiple parties before us even though we were all present and then sat us in one of the worst seats in the restaurants. We enjoyed the live music in the lounge after dinner but it was impossible to get a drink at the bar which were typical way overpriced south beach drinks.
Fried chicken with Banana chicken is excellent. Short Ribs are outstanding. Duck fried rice is great. Cheesecake is good, but nothing special. Other dessert I had was delicious. Beautiful place, beautiful people. More action the later you go. Super service and everyone is warm and welcoming; no attitude. The food is truly special
outstanding quality and service.
not the greatest portion sizes - but would still recommend to a friend.
The service was amazing!
The food was an experience.
We will be back probably next week to try the rest of the menu.
Great food but portions way too small even for Miami Beach standards. Not a great value
Beautiful place. Exquisite food and courteous service. Sea Urchin corn chowder is a must. Spicy fried chicken is out of this world. And of course THE MYTH (a very attractive cocktail served in an unicorn shaped jar) is to dream about.
After the many times we have eaten in PAO, we were disappointed in the food during Saturday dinner. There was a lack of consistency in the quality of the dishes presented.
I don’t have enough words to describe our unbelievable dining experience at Pao. The food, an interesting blend of Asian and southern flavors, speaks for itself! The service took everything to another level. Our attentive and friendly server described every dish to such a degree that by the time she was done, our mouths were watering. We definitely recommend the unicorn appetizer. The short rib entree that they are known for is divine. We also had pork rice, tuna ceviche and fried chicken appetizer. Everything was delicious and this restaurant is Michelin star worthy. Will be back to try other dishes.
Amazing food, and service, and the room is spectacular. My favorite in Miami by far!
I found it extremely expensive for the amount of served , also quality of food was ok.
My husband and I loved our meal at Pao. We tried the tasting menu and it was wonderful. We totally loved the Fried Chicken. It was so good I wanted to order another one. The roasted fish, the short rib, and the Pork Adobo Rice are a few of my favorites too. I can't wait to go back.
Súper .la comida está espectacular y el ambiente también
The service both food and wine was top shelf. We had the $195 tasting menu and it was worth every penny.
All of the staff was attentive and never rushed us at all. They adjusted the courses based on our feedback.
A top 10 dinner for all of us.
Highly recommend this restaurant.
Music was super loud, way overpriced, food not good, lousy service and warm white wine.
Way overpriced for quality and menu is not that exotic. I have had better rice from Chinese takeout for 1/4 the price. I lover this restaurant b4 but they have lost their edge and funk. Very disappointed. If u want a nite out for $ 400 for 2 with a cocktail and no wine enjoy
The restaurant has a very nice ambiance, nice people and good food and service. Value for money fair although some dishes that are said to share there ain´t so...
The portions that said to share were definitely for just one person. I ordered the short rib asado and it can with 4 tiny pieces for 70 dollars. Overall nice experience and the waiter Chris was really great.
Wonderful experience! Chris was our server and he did a phenomenal job. Excellent recommendations by him!
Fantast Food excellent service, a bit too noisy. It took a while roger the order placed, kitchen was very fast and food is just amazing.
Always excellent food and service
Bad food - bad service - too expensive 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
The restaurant tries to be to fancy on everything. The result is just a snob overpriced restaurant with average food. One of the worst options in Miami for the money. The service is outstanding, though.
Simply the best ! It is not a joke, it is a very nice place to eat. I am french and I perfectly know what I am talking about. I went in some of the best place in miami... this is the One to go !!!
Everything was wonderful from the food to the service .
We were fortunate to get reservations at Pao at the last minute. Great service from the moment we walked in. Very knowledgeable Sommelier, who is personable and helpful. Waiter was very helpful with menu, offering a tasting menu not on the printed menu, and then customizing it to add a specific dish our four top all wanted to try. Tasting menu ended up being 10 courses, each one excellent and then topped by the next course. The crudo and hamachi were beautiful, simple and perfect. The sea urchin dish was ethereal. A beef dish was smoked for four hours, then sous vide, then grilled, making the steak have a slightly smoked flavor and literally melt-in-mouth. When it was time for desert, we all thought we could not eat another bite. We were wrong, as the deserts were too good. Restaurant itself is a beautiful space with a view to the Atlantic. This is a restaurant that is expensive but well worth it.
A bit over-priced for the meal and service we received.
A very noisy atmosphere.
The chicken was fantastic but the main course w
Could have been better.
Service was really good.
Phenomenal food and presentation. The tasting menu was perfect! Would go back in a heartbeat!
Service was awful. Food was good, but small portions and overpriced. So many better restaurants in this city that are much more worth the investment
The food is very good and the recommendations from our waiter were appreciated. The service is good also. The restaurant is very loud and noisy, it could be due to the dome shape of the roof that could generate a lot of echoes, but in our table could not even have a conversation because we were screaming across the table (4 people). I am not particularly fond of loud restaurants, so I will not coming back. The price for plates in the menu is extremely expensive, so in the end, we just paid a very high price to be in a loud restaurant in which I was just counting the minutes to get out. I guess that is the new Miami.
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Food was mediocre at best, servers did not adhere to our food allergies as requested when we arrived and manager didn’t even bother to come over. Skip it and save yourself a disappointing evening.
Exceeded expectations! All in group were raving. Will definitely visit again.
Gentle, savory celebratory feast...well done
