The food just isn’t as good as it use to be. Valet was a total joke. No one was there and we had to wait 10 minutes for our car and it wasn’t even busy. The overall meal and experience was a real let down compared to a couple of years ago.
It was an anniversary celebration and the overall experience couldn't have been nicer. A nice front window seat, exceptional service and great food. It was a wonderful way to celebrate 37 years.
Very nice, and great gluten free menu. Server was awesome and attentive to our requests.
Very good! Loved the Frito Misto - light and crisp. Fresh and hot. Delicious Caesar Salad - charred romaine, fresh white anchovies and excellent dressing. Service was excellent - knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend!
This is a great Italian restaurant attached to the Kimpton Monaco where I was staying during my trip to Denver. Excellent, friendly service. Upscale but not pretentious. I had the Branzino, which was prepared in a very unique way. It was excellent. My son’s bolognese was also very good. I also had lunch at the bar here a couple of times. The Margherita Pizza was tasty and the crust good, but the weight of the cheese overwhelmed it in the center and it was soggy. An arugula salad with chicken was a better bet.
The food and service was spectacular. Our server, José, was perfect: attentive as necessary, offering great suggestions and not rushing us in any way. He recommended a couple of choices (like the octopus appetizer) that we might not have ordered but proved to be memorable. We had a wonderful evening that we will think of fondly for quite some time.
The Brussel sprouts were the bomb. Best I've ever had. Nice wine selection. Seating and service was prompt and friendly. My husband had the fresh fish of the day and it was marvelous. I had the frazzolini with lobster and that was delicious as well. We'd definitely go back.
We had been here before and had a better experience than recently. The dinner menu, particularly the gluten free menu was limited. The bar food we had the first time was actually more enjoyable. Not terrible (very attentive service) but not mind blowing either.
Food was outstanding! We will definitely be going back!
I have been serval times in past years....the service was great....but I do have to say, looking forward to what I remember as being a very good Italian flavor...I was disappointed...the grilled caeser salad tasted wilted .... the pastas were only fair ....I would have preferred the bar area and menu I think for more what I was hoping for in the restaurant. I may try again as I do like the location and have fond memories from past visits...but would look for something else on the menu....
Outstanding food and great service. Share the pimento cheese. It's delicious. II had the always yummy grilled romaine and a side of brussels.
Best Italian I have ever had anywhen. Grilled Caesar and Lamb Chops were superb!
Love our lunch! Service was great. Food was excellent. Coffee and truffles for desert capped off a delightful experience.
We stayed at the Kimpton hotel Monaco that shares this building. We had brunch twice and dinner once during our stay. We had 3 different servers and sets of food runners/bussers. At each sitting the service was attentive, responsive, polite and engaging. Food was excellent and came out promptly. Special shout out to Elvie who took care of us at dinner on Saturday evening - you’re awesome! Thanks to the Panzano team for the excellent food, service and atmosphere.
This place has been a favorite of mine and my family for over a decade now. Panzano always has an interesting menu and lovely choices that make it hard to decide because everything sounds good.
The food was beautiful to look at and was delicious. The chef knows how to prepare good food. The service was also spot on. Dining at a restaurant that knows how to do service well adds to the experience.
Panzano is absolutely wonderful! Each dish is unique and homemade. This is the best italian food I've had in Denver so far!
Awesome service! Timing between courses was perfect, food was excellent. A top spot in Denver, always beats expectations!
We enjoyed our meal at Panzano. The wine list is good however there was not a lot of variety on the menu. Our waiter was know
Knowledgeable and fun. The food was good but I gave it a lower rating because I thought it was quite overpriced. There are so many good restaurants in Denver, that I probably won’t go back to Panzano. We had a much better meal for a more reasonable price the next day at a different restaurant.
Great food and great service. Will return for sure.
Nice place but the food was not worth what we paid for it. Our server was very nice but not as attentive as you would think, given it was a Monday night and there were very few patrons in the restaurant. Our food was lukewarm when served, and we sat with dirty dishes for at least 10 minutes between the appetizer/entree and the entree/dessert. That said, the brussel sprouts really were (as has been noted) the best thing we ate, and my son enjoyed the mushroom salad. The lamb was good but not hot, same with the pappardelle bolognese. Which was a shame because it did taste very good.
There are lots of better Italian restaurants in the area - I'd try something else next time.
Enjoyed a splurge dinner here while visiting Denver and staying at the Kimpton Monaco. We had a long day and hike in Boulder so pushed reservation a little later (7) - on arrival, saw a sign that the restaurant was closing at 8 for a private event. Was anxious and a bit bummed we’d have to rush, but after ordering, ended up not feeling rushed at all by our waitress, and a few other groups came in after us even. The food was all amazing, had to gush to my food-loving family (sister loves octopus, mom loves lamb). Really liked ambiance too. A great evening and ending special meal to our long weekend getaway.
Had a very nice dinner here Friday evening. The octopus appetizer was one of the best ever. Cooked to perfection & delicious. The lamb main course was also delicious. Nice wine list too.
Server nice just a little ditzy
Really basic flavor profiles in all the dishes we tried. Underwhelming experience, wouldn’t return or recommend.
Pre-theatre dinner was wonderful with the best tapanade ever. Service was wonderful both in the bar and in the restaurant. WW will definitely be back
The brussels never disappoint!!!! Great service and recommendations from our server. Overall great experience.
The service was great and the food is always good. Loved the brussel sprouts and caesar salad. Pizza was good too.
The food would have been better if it didn’t seem like it had been sitting out for a while before being served, some of the items on my plate, such as my eggs, were cold. The worst part by far was the service. When we walked in no one else was waiting in line and there were maybe 4 tables sat. Several servers walked past us before someone finally asked if we wanted to be seated. Then we waited a very long time for someone to ask our drink order, same experience with the food order. And it took a while for the food to come out, probably why it was cold. At one point I saw a guy at the table next to us get up and grab the coffee pot because he was tired of waiting for someone to come by. I couldn’t attribute the lack of service to them being overwhelmingly busy because most of the time the servers were in plain view just talking with each other. I worked in restaurants for years and must say, if I had ever worked for a staff like that we all would have been fired, so unprofessional. I gave 3 stars because I could see potential in the place, but I’ll never go there again and won’t recommend it to anyone.
Panzano is always on point! The food is fresh and creative.
Chris ,our waitress was awesome!
Great atmosphere and food!
I have always loved Panzanos. We had a good night. However, I want to give feedback to the restaurant about their rack of lamb. 3 of us ordered the rack of lamb. We got 2 small lamb chops, not a rack of lamb. It was more of an appetizer portion than a rack of lamb. Highly disappointed with this. We were still hungry at the end of the night. I have been going to Panzanos for 20 years and tell everyone about it. Was just disappointed about the rack of lamb because it was clearly not a rack but instead 2 little chops. It was almost like they split our rack of lamb between 3 people. What gives?
The food was very good, the restaurant relatively quiet - something that's been a challenge in the past - and the service was also very good. Thx!
Overall great experience. Will return. Great selection with creative flavors. My wife is very hard to please and wouldn't stop raving about her meal and experience.
We had three appetizer plates , one was cheese and salami with other things, it was delicious . Then the pimento spread with their delicious bread. Then a sausage pizza! All delicious !
This is a very good restaurant. Good food. I was there for my anniversary and I recommend it for sure!
New experience in an old building. Food was fine. Nothing too crazy. Prices the usual for brunch.
We had brunch and our entrees were very tasty!
