Fabulous food as always, it’s the first time I’ve been since the original chef left over a year ago. Love those Brussels Sprouts & the scallops just melted in my mouth. My favorite Italian restaurant in Denver!
Wonderful gluten free Italian! Lots of gluten free options with its own menu and our server asked about allergies and cross contamination and had the kitchen make changes as needed. Excellent in every way. Sorry it took us so long to find this gem. Do not miss this place!
Atmosphere was nice, other than that food was overpriced and portions were small. Not many “traditional” Italian options either, along with a very limited menu.
This was our favorite place in Denver! Brussels sprouts appetizer was amazing! And they gave us the recipe! Tomato soup was fantastic and all the pastas were light, traditional, and savory. Awesome desserts. Just go. Worth it
The food was great! I had the gluten free pasta, which was amazing. And our waitress even told us we could do half dishes and try two. She was amazing. Would definitely eat there again!
The food was amazing, as usual. The customer service is the reason I am writing. There are issues that can happen with all restaurants and transactions involved- No one is perfect. In this case, my son’s gluten free breakfast pizza came out about 5-10 minutes after everyone else’s food. I was surprised this happened at such a reputable restaurant, but the manager immediately came over and apologized. Not long after that, they brought a gluten free appetizer to tide him over. There were several more apologies and then his pizza came out. It was worth the wait. Most restaurants would have stopped there. Or, at best, comped his meal. Instead, the manager came over when our meal ended and told us he was covering the ENTIRE meal! He said he knows we came there to dine together and eat as a family, and that they failed to provide us that experience, so he was taking care of it all. No check. No charge. Absolutely stellar customer service. I am beyond impressed. Please, go to Panzano’s. They truly care. It’s evident in the food and the service.
New York prices for European portions. Appetizer (Brussels Sprouts) was good sized, but entrees were small, even by small plate standards.
Server was very helpful with both food descriptions and wine suggestions. We had an incredibly delicious meal in a beautiful environment!
Level of service was below comparably priced restaurants in the area.
Great food, good service as always. Unfortunately we were seated by a very loud table of 6. Otherwise new menu item we're delicious.
Although Panzano is a very good restaurant, in my opinion, it falls slightly short of excellence because of lack of attention to detail. The food is unquestionably delicious, well prepared and well presented. The Brussels sprouts appetizer is quite tasty, as advertised, and the pasta is particularly good. We had three different types, and it appears that you can’t go wrong with any pasta selection. The service is also strong. Our server did her job effectively and professionally. So what’s my gripe? Actually I have two. Lack of tablecloths and a poorly wiped table put me off immediately. I was also slightly disappointed in the fact that our birthday celebration went unacknowledged by the restaurant, even though I made it clear in the reservation that that we were there to celebrate a birthday. Am I being overly picky? Perhaps. But in such details lies the difference between “excellent” and “very good,” again in my opinion.
The waitress for our table went above and beyond in service; even rushing out to help our friend with the concierge service at the hotel. The staff at restaurants is equally as important as the cuisine!!
Horrifying that a small portion of pasta Bolognese is $30. Worse that it was unremarkable.
Our dinner was completely underwhelming and overpriced. Service was average at best. I do not recommend.
Mother’s Day Buffet
Our server, Chris, was amazing! We did the chef’s menu with wine pairing and it was Fantastic! The wine pairing with our food choices could not have been better.
We ate and drank our way through the menu and the experience was 3+ hours (we chose to have it this way)
By far the best value, food, and wine we’ve had in this city.
This place was an absolutely amazing choice for a prom dinner! It is pricey but it’s worth it and the portions look small but they fill you up!!
Panzano never disappoints. We had an awesome meal to celebrate our anniversary and our waiter, Mike, totally respected our pace and shared great suggestions!
Enjoyed Panzano before a show at The Paramount because it’s walking distance from there and we could use the valet. The service was terrific, the food was great, and the wine by the glass menu was diverse.
Of the five meals four of them were Great. The Fifth meal (carbonara) the pasta was over cooked, very limp, and the pork belly was very fatty. A dull taste.
The service was quite iffy-
The food was superb but we had problems getting attention from the waiter...i.e., bread and olive oil were not brought until AFTER the meals and we had to go find him to ask for it. Several other things were also difficult to get.
Went to Panzano's on May 9th to celebrate my stepson's birthday. He lives in Denver but I was just there on business for a few days. One of my coworkers had wandered into Panzano's 2 day prior while out walking and recommended it. There were 5 of us in our group and we had an excellent experience. The server was knowledgable and helpful on drink and food choices and the food was spectacular. Everything my group had we loved. They even gave my stepson a complimentary dessert for his birthday which led to more of the group having dessert, which they also thoroughly enjoyed. I will definitely visit this spot again when I am in town.
Waited in the lounge until the rest of my party appeared for dinner. Lounge service was very slow, but better in the dining room.
Great restaurant for lunch or dinner in Monaco Hotel.
Perfect service and delicious food. Best Brussels Sprouts I have ever eaten.
I go back every time I am in Denver and am never disappointed.
By far and away the best meal we ate in Denver. Exceptional service, fantastic food extremely well presented. Not inexpensive but well worth it
We were celebrating our Anniversary and read this place was good.
My husband ordered the Orchatti and had the Pheasant.
His pasta was very tough.
Mine was pretty pad due to the extreme burnt flavor in the sauce. I mentioned it to the waitress and instead of having the chef make a new sauce they kept bringing different sauces to the table for me to make my own. Total disappointment
Wonderful atmosphere. Fabulous food. Server was amazing we were celebrating a graduation from college and were treated fabulously.
Outstanding food at a fairly reasonable price. Excellent service; nice ambience. Also a really terrific selection of amaro for after-dinner libation. The only challenge is not to overeat to the point of discomfort.
Our server was attentive but never intrusive. Recommend the Brussels sprouts app as that was a table favorite. Our small group of five left very happy with overall experience. Definitely would go back to try more dishes.
The appetizer of brussel sprouts was outstanding and very large. We wanted to split an entree as well. The waiter wasn't so excited about that. We didn't realize the portion of halibut would be so small. My companion had asked for the gluten free option on that but it came with polenta anyway. Eventually and grudgingly she received a dish of potatoes which she had expected with the entree. We were eating early before theatre so didn't have drinks or dessert. We've had better experiences in this restaurant in the past.
Excellent meal and service
This is one of the best experiences I’ve had dinning out! Amy, our waitress, was nothing short of amazing. The food was perfect in every way. The setting was beautiful and the staff was attentive, without being overbearing. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I brought my husband for his birthday and they went above and beyond ... run, don’t walk to Panzano!
Dinner before theatre.
I have eaten at Panzano several times. Always an excellent meal and excellent service. I sat at the counter this time (I was alone). Fun to watch the kitchen staff work their magic.
I had the roasted brussels sprout appetizer (a half portion), the mushroom salad (a half portion) and the scallops. All were excellent. My only issue with the meal was that overall it seem too filling and rich. Perhaps that was a mistake in my ordering, but none of the dishes seemed "light".
The wine-by-the-glass selection was excellent. I had the Malbec.
First I want to say the service was outstanding! Our waitress was attentive, very knowledgable about the menu and was very nice. We were really looking forward to a great Italian dinner after reading all the reviews, unfortunately I guess what we ordered that night wasn't what we expected. We both had the Panzanella Di Focaccia salad which was very good. My husband ordered the Fagiano Arrosto(Pheasant) It was very dry, but had good flavor. I ordered the Angello Saltimbocca(Lamb) and it was overcooked and dry as well, so much so that I had to say something. Without hesitation, they asked if I would like something else on the menu and they would have it out right away. So I ordered the Crab Linguini. Within minutes the executive chef brought it to the table with his apologies, admitting the lamb was not done correctly. The Crab Linguini was amazing! So I give this restaurant 5 stars for service. I would give this restaurant another try when we are back in Denver, I think they may have just had an "off" night:) .
Delicious food and thoughtful service! Perfect evening.
We enjoyed the service as much as food... We had a party of 7 with three children and they made sure everyone was taken care of - I highly recommend
Food was excellent and the wine was awesome! Always a fave!
we came to panzano was on a night before going to the theater. We picked this restaurant specifically because they are gluten free and my daughter has celiac disease. They were so accommodating and most importantly it was the best gluten free pasta we have ever had! We will be back
Best risotto ever! Especially with the salmon.
