They forget to make our entrees and had to rush the order. The server actually tried to take our desserts before we even got our food. They had to rush our meal in the kitchen. My husbands pizza was undercooked. I’m shocked as this place is usually really good.
Food was delicious and our waiter was the BEST!
Excellent meal & service! Ambiance was a bit weird due to Covid spacing of tables. Our server was professional - great experience!
Good food! Straight forward , well executed We enjoyed the steak special.
Brian is one of the greatest servers and the manager I believe his name was Max values people as well. Thank you Kristine for the great service to.
We came to Denver and Panzano was listed as a top restaurant destination downtown. We got reservations on Valentines night. OMG, this place was so good. The Bolognese pasta, salmon and prime Filet mignon were all probably the best we had ever had. Such a magical night. Would recommend.
The experience was wonderful for the most part, but I felt a little neglected by our server after he got tables that seemed to be spending more money than us. It was our first time in, and the food was phenomenal, but we had drinks before dinner and did not order cocktails nor 4 courses. We did however still order nonalcoholic beverages and 3 courses. A few tables next to us came in with fur coats and appeared to be very ritzy. The difference in conversation, menu suggestions, and overall treatment seemed dependent on social status, which was uncomfortable. We saw our server few and far times in between after he got ritzier tables. It’s not a big deal, but it was still $130 meal for us, and made me feel like it wasn’t enough for equal treatment from the wait staff. Regardless, I do believe that we will be back, but it should be of note.
We ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer and it was delicious as was the salmon. It was my sons birthday and the waiter brought out a rum cake and he LOVED it! We would definately go back next time we're in the area
Went for our 25th anniversary and were very pleased. We both had the steak and it was very very good. The Brussels sprouts were the best we’ve ever had. Brian gave great service. We’ll be going back as soon as we can
I love this place, forever one of my favorite places. All the servers are always friendly and give great recommendations, and the food is the best Italian I've had in Denver. Worth the cost!
This is the first Italian place we've been to in Denver and it did not disappoint! The brussel sprouts app, the fig/prosciutto pizza, and the bolognese pasta were all delicious! Our waiter Chris was great. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back
One of our favorites! The food, drinks & wine are excellent. Service is terrific! They tend to spoil us! If you like watching what's going on outside, request a booth. There aren't many, but it can be entertaining!
Everything was great - a member of our group was a little rowdy, but the rest of us had a great time.
My husband and I went to Panzano's for the first time this past weekend. We both agreed that it was the best pizza we have ever eaten! So light and fresh. The food/drinks are a bit pricey, which is our only complaint. But, if we are in the Denver area again, we would still go for the pizza!
Service was really slow. Not sure if it’s just everything going on but definitely kg
Our server, Chris was great! Everyone there was very friendly. Only complaint we had was not being able to have some bread but it was COVID related so no one's fault.
Reduced menu due to COVID-19. Will have to go back!
We had Brussels sprouts, calamari and salmon. Amazing food!
Great!! Service was amazing!
Favorite Italian restaurant downtown Denver. Look forward to time when full operations of the restaurant are available after COvVID restrictions.
Always great food and excellent service.
was seated well in the back of the restaurant which at first I did not want but came to enjoy the seclusion. Starting with the Brussel Sprouts and two good old-fashioneds, one for me and one for my partner. Delicious. The apple was a great touch. We split two entrees, the shrimp scampi was very good, although not a traditional by-the-book scampi. Would order again. The wild boar bolognese was my favorite. Rich, moist yet not overwhelming. Overall, a good night out, good food, and service. Support local, buy downtown (and other places, too)
Food not good at all, steak was more like a roast, asked for sauce and still waiting for sauce. Only 3 Italian dishes on the menu so how is it an Italian restaurant. Plus after making a reservation why tell us you have this amount of time to eat.
Great gluten free options even with a limited menu. Server was knowledgeable about wine pairings. Good food and experience.
My group of 4 went here for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night and let me tell you, biggest mistake ever! The server acted as if he had something better to be doing other than making money and providing good service to paying patrons. He messed up my drink order by not bringing the sample I asked for despite bringing everyone else’s drink orders. I again asked about my sample. He came back but with a full glass, despite me asking for a sample twice. He finally got it right and bought me the sample. The menu was extremely limited!! They literally had 3 pastas. It was not good and it was just shrimp scampi. I ended up sending mine back, and literally got red sauce with noodles. A $28 dollar kids meal basically. People in my group asked the manager of the restaurant what they do for birthdays and he responded, “nothing now due to Covid”. I get it, Covid has changed everything but you’re literally not even going to try and do something for a table that spent close to $300. Speaking of our tab, the manager said he would take off the shrimp scampi which he didn’t. He just discounted $10 which mathematically didn’t make sense. We were visiting Denver and plan to come back. But this place won’t be on the itinerary! Oh the bristles sprouts and calamari were good but that’s about it. They have free bread according to Yelp but we don’t get anything? Wonder why that is. Hmmm. Perhaps because we are young and they don’t think we have the money to spend!? Who knows! But the waiter missed out on a good tip
We really enjoyed our dinner here. Started with 3 different appetizers, the brussel sprouts, charcuterie board and calamari. Every one of them were delicious and they came out really fast, before we even put in our dinner order. Husband and I split the ceasar salad and pasta bolognese, they were both very good.
Our server was very attentive, wish I could recall his name. He seemed very outgoing and fun to be around.
We were very glad we made the decision to dine here, will definitely be back in the near future.
Table spacing was great!
Return to the restaurant after 9 years.
Fabulous food, easy parking... we will return . I had the ceasar salad that is grilled and fabulous. I also had the ravioli that was amazing!
The best Italian in Denver. Staff and service are the best I’ve experienced in a long time.
Had not been in awhile and was very pleased. Service and food were great.
Wonderful experience, papa our server was fantastic! Food and service was outstanding
Great service. Delicious Italian food. Covid-19 dining in effect, which is appropriate at this time. This a great choice for fine Italian dining in Denver. My personal favorite. Under normal circumstances, Panzanos is a vibrant and lively place to dine.
Although we have had great experiences here in the past, our most recent dinner was unfortunately not good. We were celebrating our anniversary and picked Panzano because of their great selection of gluten free options and previous amazing dinners. This time, as soon as we were seated, the host/manager said that they were fully booked so we could only have the table for an hour and half. Not a great or welcoming start but ok, I get it, COVID limits them. We order our wine, and waited 20 minutes before the waiter came back to tell us they were having trouble finding it and did we want to order dinner? We did, and our salads came up before they FINALLY brought our wine. We wanted a leisurely time enjoying some wine before dinner. No apologies. The menu is severely limited so many of our favorites (including bread!) weren't available. Should have let us know when we made our reservations. Finally, wanted to order after dinner drinks and were told we needed to take them into the lobby because...TIMES UP! Felt rushed and unwelcome. Definitely would not go back for any special occasions since they didn't seem to want to make it special for us.
Food was good as usual. Service good as usual
But the menu was greatly reduced, only 3 pasta dishes, only 3 entree dishes, only one dessert.
Head chef wore his face mask around only his throat, not over his mouth, not over his nose, no Covid prevention at all while he prepared the food. Watched him for 1.5 hours, never raised his mask over his mouth or nose. Sorry we would like to support Pantano but we won't be back til Covid is over
Excellent service and ambiance. Pasta was great and the Brussel sprouts are a must have. But Scallops were a little overdone and were too, over the top, spicy.
Very good food. Right portion size. Beautiful restaurant.
Panzano never disappoints! Consistently delicious food and stellar service from the legendary Brian has made this the traditional place to meet my son for dinner each time I visit.
