We had a great dinner there last night. The chefs tasting menu was a good value and portions were perfect. Sometimes I think your lucky to get one course that really nails it. But my wife and I were both astounded as each course came out. We couldn’t even decide which one of that course was best. All around a great night. Save room for the cobbler
Consistent, reliable choice for very good Italian (primarily) food in downtown Denver. Unfortunately, although their Happy Hour is terrific, pricing for dinners have seemed to creep up over the past few years, and with an OK wine, I've found the check to typically run around $75 per head with tax/tip. Not an inexpensive evening, so there are more than several other choices in this ballpark. Still, quite popular, and deservedly so, all thing considered.
I'm never has service as amazing as the service I had here
As usual, it was a wonderful dining experience.
Gazpacho was excellent and the salad was good but not exceptional. The bolognas was a bit spicy for wife's taste, but I enjoyed it. The pasta with lamb confite was excellent and the risotto was good.
Great food, just a bit noisy. Service was good, a very enjoyable brunch before going to a matinee at the Buell.
This is one of my favorite restaurants! But we never got bread (my favorite thing) and the pizza was just ok.
Excellent experience all around. Will definitely return.
I enjoyed the dining experience overall. The food was delicious and bursting with flavor. I thought the pasta dishes had small protions. Bread was an extra charge which I found to be a bit odd. I don't eat bread but thought it should come with the food. There was no valet on a Sunday night. I did not like that you had to leave the restaurant and go to the adjacent hotel to use the restrooms, which were located downstairs. The service was exceptional! The evening was lovely and I would go back.
Brunch was very nice. Sat by the window in a cozy booth. Breakfast pizza and steak and eggs were delicious! We will be back.
The food is delicious, the service is top notch and the ambiance is perfect for a nice date or an intimate dinner for a small group (quiet enough for easy conversation).
The food as always was amazing. The ambiance which you refer to as energetic is far too noisy for the hearing impaired.
As always, outstanding food and exceptional service throughout the visit.
My visit to Panzano included entertaining an out if town friend. We enjoyed our evening very much!
I felt the beet salad had too much dressing, making it soggy instead of fresh. The brussel sprouts are amazing! My pasta was good, but I felt over priced. Exceptional service!
I will recommend Panzano!
Food was absolutely delicious...large portions served. Service was fantastic. I originally made reservations for 10, but 12 showed up...they were very accommodating. Next time in Denver, I will definitely go back and take friends.
Top notch service. We had a few special requests, and they were very happy to accommodate. Great location and ambience. You can see the food being cooked in the kitchen, and the chef came out to meet us. Our server was very friendly, helpful with choices, and had great timing. Very pleased!
Waiter was pleasant and helpful, I think he was just spread too thin. Waters were empty, forever to get a drink. Really not anything about the experience that would compel us to return. Maybe a business lunch, but definitely not a special occasion.
Excellent Italian delicacies and great service in a casual atmosphere.
Maggie is the best waitress ever! The food was fabulous!
We were a party of 11. Service was fantastic, timely, and everyone loved what they ordered.
Excellent dining experience. The food was very good in comfortable, relaxed surroundings. It does get a bit noisy when the restaurant is full. Service was terrific.
Excellent food !!
WOW SO GOOODDD I LOVED this so much! Best day ever!!!
The food was delicious. However there was s loud table with kids next to us which made the experience not as good as it would have been. The waiter was very good. I would recommend this restaurant if you like Italian food
Service was very slow, especially for a half full restaurant. Meat and cheese place was minuscule given price. Will not return.
Dinner and wine were wonderful, the table at which we were seated was not. We had a reservation and arrived at a time that was not at all busy (many open tables), yet we were seated right next to the silverware and glass station adjacent to the open kitchen. It was really noisy and uncomfortable.
I love this restaurant. They have a wide variety of options on their gluten free menu, and everything I’ve ever ordered is absolutely delicious.
The food and service were outstanding! We were celebrating my brother's birthday and that went way out of their way to make the evening special.
Perfect place for a business lunch! Food was fabulous, noise was good for conversation and the service was efficient.
Incredible as always. The pork chop is the best I have ever had.
Our server and her fellow waitstaff were wonderful and very attentive. They made delicious recommendations and we enjoyed every single item we ordered. Cannot wait to go back!
We are big fans of Panzano and thus were excited to try their brunch for a special birthday celebration. Our reservations were for 10:30am, but the kitchen was already out of danish. We ordered a fruit plate as an appetizer, expecting lots of in-season berries and were disappointed with a meager tray of melon, cantaloupe, watermelon and pineapple, maybe a dozen blueberries sprinkled for color. The soup of the day was shrimp bisque, but no shrimp was to be found. The chicken hash was identical to the breakfast potatoes, and appeared to be pre-cut frozen potatoes. The highlight was the eggs Benedict, a ll other plates were not exceptional. We had a table for five and were placed close to the open grill, it was sweltering. Very disappointing.
Made a last minute reservation on Open Table which was helpful. The place was hopping and our waitress was a "low talker" so it was very hard to hear her. We shared the salami plate, the Caesar salad and the raviolis. All delicious and easy to share, especially since they divided the salad and pasta for us which we appreciated. Lots of wine to choose from and our bottle was tasty!
The service was excellent, although the food was average. It certainly was not worth the money. We dine out a lot and I'm not sure how the food got such great reviews. I had a pretty basic lamb pasta dish which had the fatty part of the lamb throughout. And on top of that, the pasta was overcooked. How does an Italian restaurant screw that up!!!!
2nd visit and everything was again excellent!
Great lunch! The grilled romaine Caesar salad was wonderful. Same for the lasagna. One of my favorite places.
Great food, but very small portions.
Good food. Slow sloppy service this time. Bad table - not prepared for the reservation. Forgot drinks. Apps and meals came out haphazardly. Refills almost non existent. “Truffles” at the end took 15 minutes to come out and were partially melted. Not up to normal par. For every 4 or 5 times I go to Panzano’s, I have one lousy experience. We drop in a lot for lunch (no res), but this was to celebrate an employee’s birthday (didn’t mention it on the res as he is low key and didn’t want a fuss made), but all three of us were disappointed. I went a few days prior and it was great. Luck of the draw, but know that before you go in. Great food, usually good service, but sometimes it’s crud.
We've been visiting Denver for a few years and no trip is complete without having dinner at Panzanos. Delightfully sinful.
This is my go to restaurant - had my baby shower here, eat brunch here almost every month and take out of town guests here for dinner - LOVE
