Best food in downtown Denver. The lamb shank was the top one we have ever ordered. And we loved the octopus and beet, autumn salads.
Good service, quiet so we could talk. Best of all, consistently wonderful.
Always a great, known choice.
The orecchiette pasta was very good the bolognese was fair. I did get meatballs with the bolognese which I was glad I did, since the bolognese was not very meaty. In my opinion, it was not worth the price charged for the amount of pasta and sauce. While I did not complain I did hear the table next to ours complain that there was not enough of the bolognese on their pasta either, which I found interesting.
Food and service are always great. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive and the manager, Aaron, was great.
My favorite restaurant in Denver. Outstanding recipes crafted with care and excellent service.
Fabulous restaurant, exceptional service from Dominique, amazing food both appetisers and main course, one of the best wine lists ever!!!
The best GF bread and pasta I have had! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about Gluten Free. Will definitely go back.
We had the veal marsala special that was featured for that evening and it was perfect. My wife asked that hers be changed to chicken and they happily complied!
The appetizer, service and dessert was excellent, however felt slightly disappointed about the flavor of the shrimp pasta, I felt as if it was a little too salty, lacking in flavor and wasn’t worth $36. The appetizer and dessert were full of flavor and were priced great for how they tasted! Overall vibe, ambience and service was phenomenal!!
Good restaurant, fair value very nice help
Drinks, appetizer and the scallop dinner were great! I chose the venison special, and it was not that special for the price. One great thing about this place is they are very accommodating for gluten free!
Great food as usual!
Sunday brunch. Excellent service. Food was good; Brussels Sprouts were amazing.
The service here was too notch, prices reasonable and the food pretty good! We would return!
Everything great!!! Food is fantastic! Vino is excellent! Service was perfect.
Got seated by waiters station, so... Very distracting and very loud!!! (Clank, bang, crash, slam, ....)
Usually, waiters station is a no go.... but was on vacation with extended family and did not want to say anything.
Panzano has some very nice booths. We didn’t get one. They were “reserved” - this is always the story. So we were seated at a dinged-up table in a corner next to a table for 8. The table of 8 was loud.
The food was good and portions were substantial. However, the prices are very high - perhaps “hotel restaurant” high or “we used to be amazing” high? I recently had Italian in London that was far better for less ... and London is an expensive city.
There's a reason Panzano has been around for 20 years in a town where restaurants come and go seemingly every hour –– it's fantastic and never disappoints.
Food and service are always outstanding. You will be delighted with your time at Panzano.
We enjoyed the food and our waitresses were so helpful!! I can’t wait to eat there again.
They have a great gluten free menu with lots of options including gluten free fettuccine. However, I think my gluten free dish got mixed up with a regular fettuccine. I started feeling sick about 30 minutes after I ate and was sick the rest of the night and until about 12pm the next day. They need to be more careful about their gluten free items.
Excellent food and excellent service. I had the scallop dish which was perfect. Slightly spicy and very flavorful. I will definitely be returning.
Went with my husband for my birthday. The food was perfectly made and beautifully plated. I am gluten free and there were many delicious options available for me to eat. When the server was around he was friendly and knowledgeable, however he wasn’t around as much as you would expect for a fine dining restaurant.
We had great food and service! In town for a conference, chose Panzano because it has a gluten-free menu and good reviews. Well-deserved!!
Fabulous as usual
Really happy with this place. Hadn’t tried it before so was pleasantly surprised to find a very good Italian restaurant near the theater district. Wonderful appetizers and great wine list. Will be back!
Our waiter was Jose, he was excellent and really was great in helping us decide which wine to order as well as the quantity of food. We will definitely be back. We ordered the scallops and shrimp pasts- both were excellent.
Food was great. We had dinner and then breakfast the next day. I will advise that I'm very sensitive to salt and found the scallops at dinner and then the hash browns at breakfast a little salty. It will not keep me from returning, I'll just ask for light salt. Everything was great! Will go back!!!
Food was just not great.
Great Italian food and excellent service. Not cheap but good value for money when considering the quality. Pork chop is amazing and a great selection of wines
Christian was incredible and made sure that my wife who has celiac disease never had to worry about getting any gluten. And the kitchen was great about customizing the meal with no gluten. Great food, great service.
Always great food, service and atmosphere. We had a great waiter who really helped us decide what to choose. So many great items. She was right on target for what we wanted.
Everything from the tapenade and smoked tomato sauce with bread to our salads including grilled Romaine with Caesar dressing and the beet salad were wonderful. The entrées were outstanding. The scallops were done perfectly with a beautiful presentation of corn salad. My husband had swordfish with red wine risotto and wild mushrooms. The gelato and sorbet selections were a perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
Have NEVER been to an Italian restaurant that didn’t serve bread (even for a price) or have olive oil available. It was really disappointing on all counts. and we will not return. Food was only lacceptable.
The service was great and the food was amazing!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown Denver. I live in Little Rock, but try to eat there when I’m in town. I’ve been there numerous times and never had a bad meal!
Nice Italian restaurant just 1 block off 16th street mall. Noise level was low enough to have engaging conversation. Service was excellent, timely and included recommendations on what we may want to try without any push to select specific items or to buy more. Food was excellent and a good choice of wines.
It was an excellent location to have a dinner with a noise level that allowed talking without a lot of background noise. I was disappointed in the beet salad because there were not a lot of beets and a lot of frisee - it was quite bitter with little to no dressing.
Tasting menu was delish & fun. Server was great. Lovely ambiance
Apps and Mains were excellent, suggested aperos (bellini with different flavored syrups or nectars) were adequate; tiramisu was amazing but one of the fruit cobblers took so long we had to leave for a concert before it had even arrived at our table (the server apologized and took it off the bill). The valet parking deal is perfect for a meal and a performance 4 blocks away at the DCPA.
We had a wonderful experience at Panzano. The cheese and salami board appetizer was great. We each had a different pasta for our entrees and they all were fantastic! Even though we ate enough to be stuffed, two of us still had leftovers to take home! Great spot and our server was very attentive and helpful!
Brian our server provided excellent service. This was really a highlight of the evening. The cheese and meats selection was very nice. Cocktails were so-so. The first bottle of Brunello was bad, so the restaurants brought us another one without any prompting. The main courses (salmon and pasta with spicy sausage) were good but not remarkable. There were a lot of large noisy parties around, so not an easy place to maintain a conversation. So overall 4 stars but not gonna be my go to place.
Brian is great, food is always excellent.
