The service was great and the food was amazing!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown Denver. I live in Little Rock, but try to eat there when I’m in town. I’ve been there numerous times and never had a bad meal!
Nice Italian restaurant just 1 block off 16th street mall. Noise level was low enough to have engaging conversation. Service was excellent, timely and included recommendations on what we may want to try without any push to select specific items or to buy more. Food was excellent and a good choice of wines.
It was an excellent location to have a dinner with a noise level that allowed talking without a lot of background noise. I was disappointed in the beet salad because there were not a lot of beets and a lot of frisee - it was quite bitter with little to no dressing.
Tasting menu was delish & fun. Server was great. Lovely ambiance
Apps and Mains were excellent, suggested aperos (bellini with different flavored syrups or nectars) were adequate; tiramisu was amazing but one of the fruit cobblers took so long we had to leave for a concert before it had even arrived at our table (the server apologized and took it off the bill). The valet parking deal is perfect for a meal and a performance 4 blocks away at the DCPA.
We had a wonderful experience at Panzano. The cheese and salami board appetizer was great. We each had a different pasta for our entrees and they all were fantastic! Even though we ate enough to be stuffed, two of us still had leftovers to take home! Great spot and our server was very attentive and helpful!
Brian our server provided excellent service. This was really a highlight of the evening. The cheese and meats selection was very nice. Cocktails were so-so. The first bottle of Brunello was bad, so the restaurants brought us another one without any prompting. The main courses (salmon and pasta with spicy sausage) were good but not remarkable. There were a lot of large noisy parties around, so not an easy place to maintain a conversation. So overall 4 stars but not gonna be my go to place.
Well prepared dishes. Very good wine pairings. Excellent service.
Food and service was amazing! Great location as well. Perfect for our birthday celebration!
Great place for date night. Food and service both excellent.
The food is impeccable, inventive and the gluten free selections are varied and wonderful. The cocktails are divine. The service we received from our waiter, Brian, was of the above and beyond variety. The manager Katie is a national treasure. I can not say enough about the graciousness I have received each and every time I have dined at Panzano, however, the last time on 9/9/19 was an evening we will always remember. Thank you for making our First Anniversary so special. We plan on spending all of our future anniversaries in exactly the same location.
Great food and ambiance. Our server, Stephanie was outstanding. The filet and scallops were perfectly prepares as were the drinks. The brussels sprouts appetizer was outstanding. I've dined at Panzano several times and always had a good experience.
My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Our dining experience was great out waiter helped us with our food choices that made for a lovely meal. Will be returning soon to enjoy this most excellent dining experience. Thank You
The Brussel sprouts were AMAZING! The food was delicious, definitely a good date night place
Waitresses were delightful and the food and wine were delicious.
Loved the arugula farro salad! Please keep it! Thanks!
Great place to have a breakfast business meeting
Great food and service was top notch. A little too noisy from the table of 6 next to us half way through the meal. Pricy but great for that special occasion. We will return. Worth the drive in from Lakewood and Arvada.
From the outside, there's nothing that really tells you how extraordinary the food is. It's not shabby in any way, more like you probably wouldn't peer in or look twice based on the look of the space. But inside it is spacious with just enough exposure to the food prep that you feel involved but not fighting with it. The real star is the food! We sampled 3 appetizers and they were all stellar, with the brussels sprouts as a standout amongst standout apps! Definitely try as many apps as you can. The wine list was ample and we found a couple nice wines to complement our meal. The sausage-broccolini orecchiete is in the top 3 pasta dishes I've ever had in my life and I consider myself quite a pasta snob. It is intergalactically good. The bolognese was good but didn't touch the sausage orecchiete. We skipped a secondi because we had so many apps and went straight to dessert. The two we got were both good but not at all on the same level as the apps and pasta courses. I'll definitely recommend Panzano and bring friends here when visiting. Thanks for a great night!
Just a bit loud for us and chilly a/c . . . our server was wonderful in reseating us when our group of 6 turned to 4. . . felt silly asking to be reseated again when we noticed the blast of cold air upon our sleeveless shoulders, so we grinned and beared it. Otherwise, lovely. Thank you.
Great food! LOVED the flatbread and the Shrimp Scampi. AWESOME!
Great! GF menu was fabulous!
Service slow- wrong food delivered made right on bill- entree was 1 scallop for the 4 course taster. Confusion seemed to be a norm. Chocolate ‘cake’ dessert had little to no cake and mostly moose and choc shell. Not child friendly at all.
Wanted a nice date after dropping off our new freshman and this was great. Great food and perfect location near our hotel. One of us has the tasting menu which worked out well. Not a casual place but worth it.
I ordered the charcuterie platter as an appetizer. the meat was tough, there was one tiny piece of cheese and the plate was mostly mustard. I've had this before and it was good. Not sure what happened this time.
Wonderful dinner with the family. Attentive service with great recommendations. Food was incredibly tasty and presented well with generous portions.
Wasn’t impressed, portions were small for the value.
Unfortunately, we came at the wrong time of day. Our reservations were for 2 pm. From the moment we walked in the door staff continuously reminded us that we could only order food for the next 30 min. They were out of several things and told us if we wanted to we could wait and eat at the bar for happy hour. We ended up only ordering one thing and getting out of there. It was quite disappointing. We ordered the risotto balls ... they were ... just ok. Honestly, they tasted old like they had been sitting out a while. Sadly that was our last day in Denver so we missed out on a good meal.
Excellent food. Our waitress (Chris) knew the menu well and made excellent recommendations.
Everything was wonderful. Waiter was very attentive and knowledgable. The food was excellent and fresh. The ambiance was pleasant and the noise level stayed low enough to have a pleasant conversation without shouting. Highly recommend this place and will be back.
Wonderful all the way around wow!!!
Always amazing...from the staff to the food.
Every time I’m in Denver I can’t wait to eat at Panzano’s.
We had a great dinner there last night. The chefs tasting menu was a good value and portions were perfect. Sometimes I think your lucky to get one course that really nails it. But my wife and I were both astounded as each course came out. We couldn’t even decide which one of that course was best. All around a great night. Save room for the cobbler
Consistent, reliable choice for very good Italian (primarily) food in downtown Denver. Unfortunately, although their Happy Hour is terrific, pricing for dinners have seemed to creep up over the past few years, and with an OK wine, I've found the check to typically run around $75 per head with tax/tip. Not an inexpensive evening, so there are more than several other choices in this ballpark. Still, quite popular, and deservedly so, all thing considered.
I'm never has service as amazing as the service I had here
As usual, it was a wonderful dining experience.
Gazpacho was excellent and the salad was good but not exceptional. The bolognas was a bit spicy for wife's taste, but I enjoyed it. The pasta with lamb confite was excellent and the risotto was good.
