Service was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable and willing to accommodate us. Presentation was lovely. Would definitely return when in town again.
We were well taken care of and the food was phenomenal.
The food was amazing. Loved the Colombo cocktail!
Took my boss here for her birthday. Food was great. I recommend the Carbonara.
I used to love this place, but my last experience wasn’t great. My friend ordered a breakfast pizza, which arrived with completely runny eggs. When I say runny, it was pretty much raw. The egg whites were still clear and jiggly.
We told the server, who took the pizza back to the kitchen and brought it back with a new fried egg on top of the runny egg. The pizza still had raw egg on it!
We started with drinks-all of which were delicious-asked for a not too sweet cosmo and the bartender explained what type of sugar she uses to make simple syrup. We had the meat and cheese platter to start, which was delicious-duck salami and pickled cauliflower-yum! One person had a pork chop, we shared the brussels sprouts, which were huge but delicious with apples on them-no dairy. My husband couldn't decide between the pork chop and the Bolognese pasta, so our server, who was fantastic, offered to replace the side of polenta that came standard with the pork chop to a side of Bolognese. We had the octopus appetizer and the beef carpaccio, both were delicious. The bread service also tasted great and filled us up. Ordered chocolate pudding with a delicious grapefruit whipped cream on top. Food was great, service was excellent, highly recommend Panzano.
We had an amazing meal. Everything was top notch. The brussel sprouts were definitely the surprise of the night.
Excellent night and food for a birthday dinner. Staff was excellent. Very accommodating of allergies and a well behaved little.
Perfect evening. Nice booth with privacy, food was outstanding, and service was impeccable!
Great spot to enjoy in Downtown Denver. If you're wanting some genuine Italian, it rocks!
The food was excellent. My husband had his meal with the wine pairing and he was not disappointed. Service was excellent. I would definitely go there again.
Panzano has become a downtown staple for us! Their happy hour is one of the best in the city — amazing food and drink options — and the ambiance and service is always top notch. They also have a separate gluten free menu and are very knowledgeable in that area which is perfect if you have any of those restrictions. Some of our menu favorites are the fresh baked bread with olive tapenade, fried Brussel sprouts and pasta bolognese. They also serve a delicious brunch on the weekends!
resturant is too loud to have a conversation. servers are good but with attitude of less is more and want to turn the table. i noticed this the last two times i have been here.
Yum. The food and service were great! Enjoyed the meal
Waiter did an excellent job! Food perfect and interesting as it always is! Ambiance and seating wonderful! Only thing I was disappointed to see was the new lobby design. Who would get rid of such a unique and lovely ceiling????!
Decent sized portions. Simple, uncomplicated Italian food. Seasoning of my spaghetti dish was perfect. Verypleasant evening.
Everything went well, though we were expecting the regular lunch menu with the Tagliatelle and Bolognese on the web site before we book open table.
Amanda mentioned the Primi Selection which has the Taglatelle., frittata and the steak and poach egg with polenta on there weekend brunch menu.
We decided to order the tagliatelle and steak & eggs, which was superb! We also ordered the lovely Brussels sprouts with pistachios and mini slices of apples.
Everyone was very helpful and the service was fabulous.
Everyone was very nice however it took 35 min to get our pizza between our salads for lunch.
I had to ask several times. The pizza was worth the wait but don’t expect a quick lunch.
We went to Panzano before a show at Ellie Caulkins. Everything was delicious especially the brussels sprouts appetizer and the lamb entree.
A lovely casual atmosphere. The food is superb. Thr sevice is better. A great place to celebrate.
Awesome night thank you so much!!
Had no idea you could transfer drinks from the bar to the table!! (lady with glasses helped me from the front— thank you!!) Time before last, I was there, the bartender was very rude in explaining to me he could not transfer drinks because “it was way too hard to look for me and actually find where I am sitting and I just don’t really have time for it so you need to pay now” just thought it was odd and unprofessional.
But GREAT experience this time thank you so much!!
I’ve been a few times for happy hour but this was the first time I went for dinner. The service is always amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always willing to make accommodations to the food order. For dinner I had the octopus and beet salad with a side of their Brussels sprouts. Best Brussels in the city! Octopus was also delicious. My friend had the lobster pasta which she also enjoyed. The Happy Hour menu is extensive as well. Love going there. Definitely not an every day restaurant but when you want to treat yourself on occasion Panzano is the place.
Skimpy portions. Really $45 for two tiny lamb chops. Went home hungry.
WAY too loud for any kind of business meeting.
And $20+ for an unspectacular glass of wine...?
Our last experience on December 7th was much better. After speaking with the Waitress, many of our favorite items had been removed from the Menu. Disappointing that our favorites removed.
We had a "first kind" of negative lunch experience at Panzano. About 30 minutes after receiving and finishing our appetizers, our waiter informed us that our order somehow didn't get through to the kitchen. This news was completely at odds with the waiter's intermittent assurances that our entrees were "next up." Most of us had meetings to get to, and as a result, had to leave before getting our entrees. While I would have expected a full comp of everything, we ended up having to pay for the appetizers. Based on my prior visits to Panzano, I think that this is a true outlier experience and I'd still recommend it to friends (with the caveat to make sure your waiter confirms your order has been submitted to the kitchen!)
Returned after 3 years' absence and found it better than ever. There's now a tasting menu that was very much worth our while. The wine list remains excellent, ecumenical in fact, though with Italian wines duly featured.
We won't be gone another three years!
Birthday celebration with family, food and service were great!
Service was excellent from the server. The kitchen just took way too long for the food delivery. We wound up taking it home
Beautiful place, food is delicious and the service excellent
My mom and I ate here on a girls weekend; we are both out-of-towners and foodies of sorts. The Brussels Sprouts with apple appetizer was a-ma-zing and they give out the recipe. Between us we also had the Caesar salad, buffalo meat tortellini, rack of lamb, and gelato + sorbet for dessert. Service was great, food was excellent and we ate more than we should have.
Exceeded expectations. Great food, great service, but a little noisy. Try the octopus antipasti, you'll love it!
Very good. Maybe too many tables where we sat. Very difficult to leave table.
We went to celebrate a birthday. The staff was great at accommodating our large party. They provided excellent recommendations for food and wine plus, everything we had was delicious.
Very nice food in a casual restaurant. I’d made reservations so was surprised when we were seated in the way, way, way back. At least we were in a booth. We split everything and they were great about that. Great Fritto Misto, Buccatelli with a creamy sauce and a thick steak with a wonderful sauce of jus swirled on light, smooth creamy polenta. Light as in light as a cloud.
Why then wouldn’t I recommend it? Well, although I have no proof, we had 3 fraudulent charges on our credit card the next morning. One in an Illinois restaurant when we were on Denver!
Amazing service that left nothing to be desired. Food was delicious and the restaurant was beautiful.
Had a wonderful evening - the food was superb and the service outstanding. Courses were well spaced - we didn't feel rushed or bored waiting.
Great food and excellent service! A little pricey, but to be expected. It was a bit loud at our table near the bar, but I could still hear my tablemate.
We were able to get a same day reservation and enjoyed a wonderful meal before our show started. Great for gluten free options too!
Outstanding service! Perfect timing. Wonderful suggestions. Food was delicious! We will be back!
