my go-to restaurant in the Valley. Great pasta - wonderful friendly staff. A little pricy but always worth it.
HAD NOT EATEN HERE IN LONG TIME. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND VERY TASTY. WAITER VERY ATTENTIVE. NOISE LEVEL TOO LOUD FOR OLDER PEOPLE, LIKE US. WILL GO BACK
The food is excellent. There’s not a single thing I’ve tried on the menu that I didn’t love. This is true for everyone I’ve ever been with.
The restaurant is noisy from animated chatter of the many guests eating but other than that, no critiques.
We've been to Panzanella on several occasions and it never disappoints. The food, the ambiance, the service, the wine list--always exceeds expectations!
Come here for a dinner with friends or to celebrate a milestone event (as we did a few months ago) and you will leave happy and content.
The food is very consistent and there is a wide variety of choices on the menu, especially of their excellent pastas. The room is lovely, but as soon as it gets crowded, which is every time I've been there, the noise level really increases.
The service was good. The food was fantastic.
If I could give 10 stars to our server, Lynette, I would! First time in many years we had both daughters together at the same time and we chose this location to celebrate that and are glad we did.
Excellent as always. Consistent and comforting. Atmosphere remains inviting.
Food was amazing and authentic Italian. The service was exceptional.
This has always been one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants when we want something better than your average café. There were 7 of us on this particular night, celebrating a small family reunion. We were sat in a "private room" in the back with only 2 tables, they had terrible difficulties controlling the temperature (it was either way too hot or way too cold), and the service was abysmal. The waiter and busboys were obviously serving our room and guests in the main dining room. We were effectively forgotten about, from place servings to bread. It took 3 and a half hours to get our courses served! The quality of the food was also problematic... the steak that 2 people in our party ordered was so fatty that half of it was inedible (forget choice or prime - this was as low grade as it gets), and the linguine vongole that two other people ordered was sandy and gritty. The only reasons we didn't send anything back were that we were hungry, we had elderly individuals with us who couldn't wait for them to prepare substitutions, and we figured we'd just reflect our experience in the tip. Of course, to even get the check, I had to walk it out to the hostess, complain about our experience and not even get so much as an apology. We will find another "higher end" Italian restaurant to frequent. There are so many in this city that there is simply no need to tolerate terrible service, bad food and a horrible attitude. At the very minimum, if you choose to go, make sure you are not seated in one of their so-called "private rooms".
Excellent restaurant. Pasta expertly prepared. Service respectful without being overly friendly. Everyone loved their food, whether it was fish, lamb, or pasta. A bit pricey but very enjoyable.
It was just excellent in general.
Special sea bass was extraordinary. Perhaps the best i have had
Best in the Valley
An excellent choice for an upscale dining experience with great food, great service and lovely ambiance. It can be a bit noisy but it's worth that inconvenience if you are planning a special occasion and want something outstanding. I highly recommend Panzanella.
Delicious food but way too noisy. Won’t go back. Told the manager about it and she said next time we need to request the freeway table, away from people. Still, way too noisy for us.
We have eaten at Panzanella many times and always have a wonderful experience. This last time we weren't happy because they seated us in a private room with another party and we had requested a specific table in the main dining room when we made the reservation. That being said I love the restaurant and will always return. The food is consistently delicious and the service is excellent.
Lynn our waitress was great
$8 valet parking... Really?
Food good, service could be more friendly and more attentive. Hostess at front desk did not attend to us promptly and was unprofessional. Told our guests there was no reservation when they arrived, when we were seated waiting for them to arrive.
had a wonderful time. great italian food! love the ceaser salad and pastas
All the flavors from the bread to the Ice T to the fettuccine Seemed to pop
It was our wedding anniversary and we were celebrating with a special dinner at
Panzanella. The service and the food were the best, we had a wonderful evening
at the restaurant.
As always, an excellent experience all around.
Even though the restaurant was packed the wait staff was attentive and the food was great.
Great food and wine selection! Our waitress Martina was very professional and personable. We got seated 25 minutes late. Were told people seated haven’t left, so we had to wait.
Food was good. Service was very bad. Had to asked three times for utensils after food was served. Our waiter didn’t care.
Food was just okay. Not particularly good or bad. For the price I hoped for better. Restaurant was out of special and had to settle for a pasta dish I never really wanted.
Best value for high end Italian in the Valley
The service was poor but the food was very good. We got our first course before we even got our drinks or water. It's very unfortunate for the price they are charging. The service should've been much better.
Great food. Always enjoy going there for dinner.
We were kept waiting 45 minutes past our reservation time, with absolutely no concern or apology for the delay. We stood there and waited and waited. No place to sit, no place to get a drink, no complimentary drink offered (though our complaints to the waitress led to waiving corkage fee). True, we were a party of eight, but the previous time, a party of four, we were kept waiting thirty minutes, again with no concern at all.
Never coming back.
After waiting an hour for our food I was served cold soup. I sent the cold soup back - because it was cold - and it was brought back to me with a scalding hot plate and lukewarm soup. I'm perfectly capable of microwaving soup at home, I don't need to go out to do that.
The other food was passable, the pasta was freshly made, the sauce was okay. I'm not sure why this place is crowded. Clearly, people are having different experiences than I did.
Spent family birthday dinner and it was superb. We eat semi regularly at Panzanella and it never disappoints. We had an early reservation and it was perfect. We left just as the room filled up and noise level rose to un comfortable level
I am impressed by the food every time I visit. The setting is lovely and all of the staff are solicitous.
Food is always good and the atmosphere authentic. Our server, Maria, made a fun evening even more enjoyable.
We were celebrating my birthday. Panzanella is my favorite restaurant and it was a lovely evening with great food and ambiance
Way too loud. Food was terrific but the deafening noise level made for an unpleasant dining experience.
As usual a very dependable restaurant that I frequent. Never disappointed
