Best value for high end Italian in the Valley
The service was poor but the food was very good. We got our first course before we even got our drinks or water. It's very unfortunate for the price they are charging. The service should've been much better.
Great food. Always enjoy going there for dinner.
We were kept waiting 45 minutes past our reservation time, with absolutely no concern or apology for the delay. We stood there and waited and waited. No place to sit, no place to get a drink, no complimentary drink offered (though our complaints to the waitress led to waiving corkage fee). True, we were a party of eight, but the previous time, a party of four, we were kept waiting thirty minutes, again with no concern at all.
Never coming back.
After waiting an hour for our food I was served cold soup. I sent the cold soup back - because it was cold - and it was brought back to me with a scalding hot plate and lukewarm soup. I'm perfectly capable of microwaving soup at home, I don't need to go out to do that.
The other food was passable, the pasta was freshly made, the sauce was okay. I'm not sure why this place is crowded. Clearly, people are having different experiences than I did.
Spent family birthday dinner and it was superb. We eat semi regularly at Panzanella and it never disappoints. We had an early reservation and it was perfect. We left just as the room filled up and noise level rose to un comfortable level
I am impressed by the food every time I visit. The setting is lovely and all of the staff are solicitous.
Food is always good and the atmosphere authentic. Our server, Maria, made a fun evening even more enjoyable.
We were celebrating my birthday. Panzanella is my favorite restaurant and it was a lovely evening with great food and ambiance
Way too loud. Food was terrific but the deafening noise level made for an unpleasant dining experience.
As usual a very dependable restaurant that I frequent. Never disappointed
The food was delicious but they were under staffed and it was very loud.
This continues to be one of the best restaurants in the Valley or City. It feels like home, only the food is better.
We've eaten at this restaurant several times, and each time had a great meal. Can't wait to go back.
Great restaurant and food, HOWEVER, the menu on OpenTable was extremely out of date. Many offerings were not on the menu in the restaurant at all. WORSE than that is nearly everything that is on the menu in the restaurant is SIGNIFICANTLY more expense than in the online menu. For example, the minestrone soup was listed online as 6.95. Restaurant charged 9.95. Same for all the entrees, about $3 or more each. Pasta wasn't 16.95, it was 19.95. Really surprising that there was such a difference. Really changes the affordability of the restaurant when you bring your family.
Great, My family and I really enjoy this restaurant very authentic Italian food and great service.
Had reservations and still waited 45 min to be seated. No explanations, no apologies. Once we ordered waited again 45 min for the food. Again, no explanations, no apologies. Manager never came to talk to us. We were never offered a drink or deserts on the house. Noise level was unbearable. Food was good, but service so bad we never going back
A bit loud. Took awhile to get service. Brought water right away but a long time for the bread. Overall good experience and I'd eat there again.
My husband and I really love going to Panzanella for its consistency. The food is always goo, as is the service, ambience and personnel.
We have eaten at Panzanella a number of times and found it as good as ever with an ever-changing menu to suite all types of diners. The Italian dishes were delicious, as were the more inventive dishes that blended all types of food ingredients. The only problem is that both the large dining room and the room as you enter are quite loud (sound seems to bounce back from every part of the restaurant which makes conversation a bit difficult, even when you're sitting at a table for four.
