We were celebrating a birthday and the waiter went out of his way to help us celebrate. Since we were 6 and wanted a round table we had dinner inside. Next time a May try the outside. Even though it is the alley they have dressed it up with lights and it looks nice.

FABULOUS!! Panzanella is The Best Italian restaurant. Everysingle thing about dining there is perfect. The food is delicious . The service is outstanding. From the moment you walk on you feel happy and know you are going to be well taken care of. Crisp cold cocktails. Comfy atmosphere. A must go to restaurant.

We went for a simple meal last night. We shared a Caesar Salad, an Italian sausage & mushroom pizza & a glass of Italian red wine. Dinner was delicious & yes, we will be going back. Pizza was perfect & a really thin crust. My favorite.

I loved the food. Everything was delicious and the service was good. My only gripe was the atmosphere is a bit dated in my opinion. Certainly not a deal breaker but worth a mention.

Disappointing dinner. Service was slow, unattentive, and not very friendly. It took a while for someone to approach the table. Drinks were fine. Our server was a little snooty and not at all warm. Our table was in the middle of the floor and servers/bussers used the backs of our chairs as handrails as they moved through the dining room - which was very unsettling. Important to note that the menu reflected on OpenTable is NOT the current menu, which is substantially more expensive. For example, the pasta I ordered from the menu was 55% more than the exact same pasta on the menu posted here. Big difference! You can get a pasta for between $22 and $30, but the specials seemed to be in the $50 to $70 range. And the food was mediocre. As for drinks, it seemed that just getting the drink to the table was a huge accomplishment, as no employee was concerned with who the drink was actually for. Fine, we handed the drinks around to each other - but we hoped for a better, nicer experience. Also, parking is really bad - they have a garage, but all spaces are marked "reserved," there's no signage to indicate you're in the right place, and the entrance/exit is incredibly tight and kind of dangerous (one lane wide - used for both entrance and exit). I understand they used to have valet but got rid of it. They do have a nice outdoor space, but between the surprise pricing and the so-so food, there are MANY places in the area to go to before considering Panzanella. Too bad, too, because we were really rooting for a great dinner.

We’ve been coming here for a few years now, and every time , the manager is sour and angry, snapping orders and not being cordial at all to us. Last night was the final straw when the servers were the same. The food is good, but I believe this was the last time for us.

We sat outside, everything absolutely perfect. Panzanella salad (my fave), my out of town friends had the linguine with clams, which they both raved over, torta Di mora. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

They need to bring back the valet parking. The parking structure next-door is almost impossible to find a place and very tight to Park. Also note that the noise level is very high. Very difficult to hear each other speak.

Second time dining here and I think it was better than the first. Their special the home pasta with crab & shrimp was really amazing. The calamari appetizer really satisfying. The staff was really helpful and attentive. Would really recommend this place for anyone looking for outstanding Italian food.

In all a very lovely experience which we have experienced in the past as well. Food is excellent to outstading. Service is very good and attentive. The restaurant is one in which we have had many fine meals but IMO is in need of a face lift or refurbishment! Last evening's meal was slightly diminished because our waiter became too busy near the end of our meal and we had to wait inordinately long to get our check in that it was getting late in the evening for us. None the less we shall continue to return because one evening of less than 5 star performance after all these years will not diminish our desire to return.

We had our wedding anniversary tonight. The food was great, my husband had deboned branzino-huge portion, I chose an ossobuco which was perfectly cooked. Great experience! Will come back again!

The food was really delicious. The lady at the front desk was quick to seat us, and that's a plus, since we were 13 minutes early for our reservation. There was plenty of street parking at the meters on Ventura Blvd. The server, Scott was attentive to us. The runner, who sadly, I don't know his name was super fantastic. He refilled water glasses, cleared tables quickly and reset them. It was amazing how much this guy did. The restaurant also has made it so you can sit outside in the area which was previously used for the valet. All in all it was a delightful meal. We would come back.

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and made a reservation at one of our favorite places. We decided to sit at the bar for our entire dining experience. What 5 star service we received from Luis and the other great bartender (forgot his name, but he’s been there for awhile and wears a ponytail). The wine, tequila, starters, salad, main course, dessert and latte for 5 star as well!

Over we had an enjoyable time. I ordered the branzino which is very good and comes with vegetables and mashed potatoes. For starters I ordered the burrata which was very fresh and cold and light , just what I wanted. My husband ordered a seafood pasta called, spaghetti al granchio. Presentation of the plate was nice with a lobster on the side but the entree was actually very bland. It had no flavor besides a tomato taste. No spices, no seafood taste, and was disappointing. We do enjoy the food there, but don't recommend ordering that item.
