This was really a shame because the service from the waiter and the food was amazing. The hostess was rude. After inquiring about my table after 30 minutes past the reservation time, the hostess dismissed me and told me to wait outside. She came back out 10 mins later telling me it was my ‘lucky day’ that they had a table available. Wow! Just my luck! Spoiled my experience.

We made a reservation but the maitre de told us to get in very very very long line outside. He never even asked for my name or time of my reservation. All the people outside in line also claimed to have made reservations and some were there for almost an hour. NEVER AGAIN. We went to Cantina Italiana which was fantastic.

Great first time at Panza. Was recommended the Baby rigatoni and sausage and it was great. Had a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was great. Will go back

Positives first-the roasted greens starter was very delicious. Also, we had a vegan with us and although there was no vegan option for an entree they very happily accommodated and created a pasta primavera that was great. Everything else, unfortunately was a bust. First, we were seated more than 30 mins after our reservation. And the restaurant was LOUD. We could hardly hear our own conversation or what the waiter was saying. The food, other than the appetizer, was also very mediocre. I had the baked ziti with sausage. The pasta was barely cooked and I think they put about a pound of cheese on it. Hubs got the risotto and it was super liquidy, like they never allowed for it to absorb the broth. And not very flavorful at all. Our server was helpful with the need for vegan food, so no complaints there, but overall, I would not recommend coming here.

We changed our reservation several times in the app due to our flight being changed and an extremely long wait for our rental car. First time in Boston and the reviews for Panza were impressive. Our waiter was attentive, made honest recommendations which we greatly appreciated. The food was AMAZING!!! I had the Lobster Ravioli and my best friend had the Linguine Alla Pescatore. Our favorite was the Bruschetta….OMG!!!!! Reasonably priced. It was Friday night and crowd was large and LOUD! Parking in the area is a nightmare! We left with full bellies and smiling faces.

My husband and I had a delicious meal here while visiting Boston. We ate the seafood risotto and the spinach & ricotta ravioli. The portions were perfect and everything tasted fresh. If we had more time, we would have had dessert, but we had to run to catch a flight. We will definitely return the next time we are in Boston.

I booked a reservation for 8:30 and did not get seated until after 9:30. We were waiting outside in the cold and while the staff was nice to us, the restaurant should not have been making reservations they can't keep.

Incredible food. The staff was friendly, prompt, and very helpful. The place was cozy but not too tight, the lights dimmed just enough to help relax after a whole day of walking around Boston. I’ve been told you can get good pasta anywhere in North End, but the brandy cream and ragu were unbelievable additions to already perfect pasta. Great value, still had to box up half despite the appetite from all of that touring! Highly recommend.

Panza has a very small dining room so it’s hard to squeeze around other diners, but the food was very good and had great portions. I thought the seafood in the frutti di mare fra diavolo was well-cooked, but the sauce could have been spicer and had more flavor. The food came out very quickly and we were in and out in 45 minutes, but we didn’t feel particularly rushed by the staff.

Great service and food. We arrived early for a 4:30 reservation; we were seated immediately and the calamari was excellent, generous glasses of wine and the linguine pescadore was tremendous. Wonderful meal.

My review is for people like me who prefer spending $18 per entree, so if you’re not put off by higher prices, discount this! We had a very pleasant time at Panza for a very early supper (4pm). The bread was great (iggy’s?) but most if the food—though more than plentiful—was kind of one-note and not remarkable in any way (except there was so much of it!). Ambiance and excellent waitstaff made for a nice time, though.

Worst customer service ever! The hostess was so rude we couldn’t believe how she was treating other tables, as well as ours. There is a reason why people make reservations, check in on time and still wait in line to have their table. Making customers leave their tables because 5 out of 6 were there and that one person was on their way from work is ridiculous. Everyone deserves to be treated respectfully. We live around the corner and come to Panza ever since they opened, some staff (including our waiter) have been there since day one. We have never been treated like this before by Panza staff and we were shocked by the way she talked to us. She clearly couldn't care less about the customer service she is providing or representing Panza well. You can tell by the way she talks, she does not want to be there. Horrible horrible experience thanks to her.
