We literally didn’t eat here because they ran the front of the house like they didn’t use open table. Showed up early
No hostess, not computer, she tells me 30 min wait. The waiting was outside and it’s 30°. I’ll never try and eat here again.
Great food! And fast!
Yummy in my tummy. We showed up for lunch at noon on Friday and were the first people there. It was very pleasant and the food was deloyshious. They handled a peanut and tree nut allergy very well.
Amazing food and service!!
Fabio our server was outstanding. Great Wines were be reasonably priced and the food was delicious.. very small so definitely make reservations- well worth it
Amazing food and service. Going back again tonight!!
Some patrons waiting to be seated just kept the door open, it was freezing and my date and I were frustrated by it
They sat us (party of 2) 30 minutes after our reservation time. They seem to overbook quite a bit. Food is amazing, and once you are seated this place can't be beat. But 30 minutes standing in the doorway when you have a reservation is unacceptable. Servers did nothing to show they cared about the wait-- no apologies, no offers for a complimentary dessert or drink. The place could benefit from a host that pays attention to these things.
The mussels with spicy marinara and the lobster ravioli were delicious. The marinara sauce was addictive. The service was excellent, and the only downside was that the seafood risotto was not to my liking.
This is my daughter’s favorite restaurant in Boston. She gets the baked ziti every time! The burreta was excellent - mozzarella was so creamy. My veal Panza was also well done.
The food here is amazing and the portions are more than can be expected in the north end. This is our go to spot for a late dinner after work!
That Tarragon Fettucini & Grilled Lobster Tail was an absolute masterpiece! We had our reservation set for 7:45pm on a Monday night and was able to show up a half hour earlier. We were seated right away and the food wasn’t a very long wait! It was absolutely delicious! Oh, and that Lobster Ravioli?! SOO good!
Always consistent and delicious!!
Restaurant is very small so be prepared for that. We sat by the restroom/kitchen and it was fine. It’s a cramped and busy place but the food makes up for it.
We started with the Bruschetta which was delicious. I had the rigatoni and sausage which was amazing, flavor from the red sauce was so flavorful. My friends had the deconstructed lasagna and the beef and veal ravioli. Both loved theirs.
The wine menu was also pretty cheap which surprised us since the wine tasted decent.
Had a reservation at 8pm. There was a line of people outside because there is no waiting area. By 8:30pm, we were freezing outside so we decided to leave and find another place...Taranta. Taranta was great! Go there instead if you want service and better accommodations.
We will never return. Waited an hour for our reserved table and then received horribly rude service.
Great find in the North End!
Waiter from Albania was fantastic , friendly and funny. Definitely will come back
Food is always great and so is the service. One of the best italian places in the north end.
Chicken parm is the best! Waitress was friendly and service was great!
Great food at reasonable prices for the North End. A bit louder than I was expecting.
Great food at great prices!!
We had a great meal before the Bruins game. Restaurant is small like many in the North End and we had reservations on a Saturday night. . The quality of the food at a very reasonable price cannot be beat in the North End. Our waiter was fantastic.
Amazing food. There’s always a 15-30 minute wait even if you have a reservation, however the food makes up for it. Favorite restaurant in the North End.
Went on a Friday evening and made reservations well in advance. Arrived on time for our 6:15 reservation but not seated until 6:45 which is in my opinion unacceptable. I can understand up to a 15 minute wait beyond reservation time but 30 minutes is no good. To boot, our party is 3 was seated at a table designed for 2 people so it was uncomfortably cramped.
We had tickets to a show so felt rushed to eat and get out of there. We have been a few times before and the noise level this time was awful, so much so that we couldn’t have a conversation.
A disappointing experience and won’t rush to go back.
AttendIng the Elton John Concert at TD Garden
Love love love this place! Great menu, service, food and prices! We've been living in the North End for over 30 years and this is our "go to" place. Thank you Panza!
Great food. They do it perfectly every time we are there. Always a “go back to!”
As a frequent business traveler, I have been to most Italian restaurants in the North End. Many are tourist traps. Panza is the real deal - the most authentic and best value. Charming ambience, excellent food. Closely resembles the better trattorias I have visited in Italy. Buon appetito!
My favorite spot
We made an 815 reservation. We arrived at 810 and they told us they were only now seating their 630 reservations and it would be at least in an hour maybe two.
Why are they on open table if reservations are not actually taken here?
Great location (North End), awesome food. But they do not manage their reservations well at all. When we arrived, there were many people standing outside (no room inside to wait). Most of us waited over an hour from the time we made the original reservation. Small place, 10 tables or so.. With that being said, it's really great food and once you're seated, great service. Would go again but maybe not on a busy night.
Great place, nothing bad to say about it. Lots of options on the menu for both drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Delicious bread to start. I recommend Panza!
We had s great time! We had a reservation, only waited 5 minutes. Our food was served piping hot! Mussels and a chopped salad to start, then chicken piccata. I had grilled veggies instead of pasta, they were yummy! Everything was perfect. The four stars are due to the noise. Even the wine was excellent!
We had a reservation for 6 at 5pm. They didn’t seem to be ready for us we didn’t get seated until 5:20 and 6 of us had to sit at a table for 4.
Always amazing service and delicious food every time!! Panzas a gem!
Checked in for a 7:45 reservation. Waited at least 30 minutes when people after us were seated. Doorman said I shouldn't have let people wait in the doorway sheltered from the cold in front of me. Ridiculous. Went to Strega because it never disappoints.
Loved this restaurant they were very particular and wouldn’t seat us until the entire party was there but otherwise we have no complaints! Wine was good, food was good and it wasn’t super expensive like a lot of restaurants in the north end!
Really delicious italian food, especially for the price! Absolutely worth the money and the wait (though we had reservations). Seating is a bit tight, but as long as you like who you're with, it's not a problem. House chianti was also quite delicious, and for only $24 for the bottle, you can't beat it.
We had the mussels for an appetizer, a salad which was mostly just lettuce but it was still exactly what I wanted. The lobster ravioli portion was tremendous and the linguine carbonara was outstanding, tons of crispy pancetta. Looking forward to going again!
What a great meal. We had the goat cheese gnocchi with chicken and the Eggplant Parm and both were delicious. The service was great as well I can't wait to go back.
Fabio was a wonderful server
