Panini Bay Waterfront Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Appetizers were wonderful. I hat the Prince Edward Island Mussels and my wife had the Fried Roman Artichokes (she loved them). I also had the Clams & Hot Italian Sausage over linguine, very good, however my wife's chicken Milanese was dry, and she didn't eat it.
Everything was good except our table....this restaurant is on the water with great views of the bay. We were seated in the back of the dining area even though the place was half empty. We were told those empty tables were reserved when we asked to change our location even though we had a reservation as well. My wife ate her dinner with sunglasses on as the late afternoon sun blazed through the shadeless window....at least she had a view of the bay...I sat facing the wall....Waitress provided us with great service and was very apologetic about the table situation. The food is very good but the main reason we come here is because of the view. Looking at a wall during dinner left a bad taste in my mouth.
restaurant would not accept 20 dollar discount from open table even tho open table said it would be attached to myreservation which the had. second try that failed. staffsaidopen has np access to their accountaining system. embarassing to say the least. if open table wants to grant an award,as small as it is, they should make sure their system works. it doesn,t.
We love coming here! The food is amazing and the view is beautiful. unfortulately, we were placed in the front by the kitchen. When we asked how long it would be for a nicer table we were told an hour. That was at 8pm. Next time I make my res, I'll specify that I want to be in the dining room. It's just not nice to sit by the kitchen when you're trying to enjoy a nice meal.
I brought an out of town guest to dinner at Panini because I knew it would be something special! This restaurant is just wonderful.
The food, the wait staff, the VIEW... PERFECT.
The only suggestion I have is to try to find a way to keep the noise level down. It got so loud it was hard to hear the person right next to me..
I live in Tuckerton, and U feel that Panini Bay makes our town very special. No need to leave Tuckerton for a beautiful dinner- Your staff gives us that EVERY TIME> Thank you so much for giving us a great dining experience. We come to Panini at LEAST three times per season.
Although my husband and I been there, by boat, by car, for lunch, dinner and even breakfast(years ago) along with MANY different friends over many many years and thought it to be the best...Something was VERY different this time..the noise level was overwhelming. The service was almost none existing, two out of the four dishes served were taste, two very questionable. What has happen to one of our favorite Restaurants.
Be cautious. Autumn hours are in effect now. This visit was for lunch. Eggplant parmigiana or meatballs on baguette were wonderful. Burgers also, but there is so much more. View over bay is so nice to watch during your visit. Elevator is tricky but a great addition for those unable to do the steps. This is one of my favorite places in the area.
It was my 52nd birthday and I was looking for a restaurant that was on the water for a nice scenic view while dining. This was exactly what I was looking for! Loved the food, loved the wine, loved the atmosphere and our waitress was fantastic! Will definitely recommend to others and will be back again!
Everything was excellent. Appetizers unique, plentiful and delicious. Entrees were excellent and so large they were lunch the next day. Too full for dessert but took to go and they did not disappoint!
Service was excellent, the only problem was the extreme rainstorm we went out in but the meal made it worth our while. Highly recommend.
Our Dinners were very tasty; we had appetizer of Grilled Bruschetta with Fig Jam, Gorgonzola Cheese & Prosciutto; Caesar salad; and our entrees were clams & hot sausage, and a special that had halibut, chorizo and tomatoes, and both were served with pasta.
We requested a window seat in the porch area, if possible, and they were able to seat us there.
Our service was perfect👍👍👍👍👍
Arrived at 6:15 for 7 PM reservation. Asked for a window table and said I realized we were early and we were willing to wait.( the reason we were there was for the advertised scenic waterfront view). Were told "Not tonight". and we were seated at a table overlooking our car in the parking lot .Food was average and place was extremely noisy. Nothing worth travelling for.
The fried oysters with a nice spicy sauce were a nice app treat. The Cavatelli with white beans, sweet sausage, penne, and broccoli in a broth was delicious. My son had the shrimp with grits which was also quite good. Always interesting menu choices and good meals at Panini Bay!!
We always enjoy the food and ambiance of Panini Bay. We like that the food is freshly made and always delicious. Especially enjoy the homemade soups and potato chips. We have our favorites of course and find the closeness to the water always a treat. We bring family and friends for that special treat. The staff is super and everyone takes the time to care for you. Thanks to everyone there!
This place was so noisy you couldn't hear yourself think. For the price the food was just OK We had to get the waitress to level our wobbly table. We had to wait quite a few nimutes before anyone took notice of us for sseating even though we had a reservation. And there were empty tables so they weren't that busy.
Amazing view but no so amazing food. The water views from this second floor restaurant are amazing. You can see The Atlantic City sky line . We visited for lunch and found the food portions to be on the small size given the price. A friend visited for dinner, and he also found portion size to be small given the price. So if you are more interested in the view rather than the food, the his place is for you.
A really pleasant surprise. Lovely restaurant with bay views. Fantastic food on all levels. It was much better than I anticipated. Halibut was best I've had in years. Corn soup with fresh corn was delicious. Fried Artichoke appetizer ..fantastic. It's a new find for me and will be a restaurant staple for me. BYOB but you can buy "NJ Wine"..(funny NJ law)... and it was fine. Very affordable..especially for the quality....can't wait to return.
