Panevino Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We ate here for Valentines Day. I asked for a table by the window. We were a little early, got seated right away at a table but not by the window. We were 4 rows from the window. Supposedly had 2 waiters-one we saw in the beginning and Eric who we saw the rest of the time. Ordered wine. Husband ordered a merlot but they were “out” of merlot so the 1st waiter suggested a cabernet which my husband accepted. It ended up being one of the most expensive wines they have. They brought me a Pinot noir but I ordered Pinot Grigio. Ordered scallops as an appetizer. It took forever. When it did come, it made the tour of 4 tables before it got to us! And then it was lukewarm. Husband sent it back & ordered a new one. Of course it came with our main dish. Husband had lasagna & I had ravioli stuffed with crab/lobster. Mine was very good but not that hot. You get bread and olive oil with the meal but nothing else. Since I was worried that our tip would go to first waiter who did nothing, we asked Eric how the tip was going to be distributed. He said all tips that night would go in a “jar” and divided out evenly between the help. We offered to give him a cash tip since he did so well but he declined stating that he’d be taking wages from the other employees. A true gentleman. This restaurant is known for its view of the airport but never saw any planes. Eric explained that the airport uses different runways on different days and that day they were using a different runway. Overall food was decent, not great. It is a bit pricey. Didn’t take any pictures because I didn’t feel anything was worth taking a picture of. Have ate at better places.
the food was amazing and super flavorful! my boyfriend and I had our anniversary date here and it was absolutely beautiful! towards the end of our dinner our waiter brought us out a plate saying happy anniversary with vegan ice cream which was extremely thoughtful! I also love all the plant based options there are will definitely come back thank you! 🤗
I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass which was at Market Price. I have been at other restaurants for dinner and paid half the price of what I was charged. I should have asked but I assumed it would be in the range of $30-35, not in the $50's. Highly exorbitant pricing for lunch
Panevino is one of the great places in Vegas which sometimes flies under the radar. Great service, great food, unpretentious and friendly. Unknown to many but it has some of the best Vegan and Vegetarian food around for those who are plant based. Tell them you are plant based and you will be in for a treat. Love this place!!!!
My husband had a business meeting that had to be off of the beaten path. This was a perfect location for all and they were pleased with the food and delighted with the service. The only complaint was that the pasta was a bit over cooked and, in my husbands dish the clams did not taste fresh. Everyone enjoyed the restaurant and will try it again. The wine menu is a bit overpriced, however the wines were of a good selection.
Our server Michael was a contrived friendly while service was poor our steak ( shared) in that our server was annoyed we shared we received our steak blood rare after a 1/2 hr wait ( we requested med rare ) we could not cut the bone in rib eye we sent it back .. it came back 1/2 hour later very well done would not finish we left gratuity ( regrettable experience ) never an offer of desert or some comp .. Server attitude also played a huge part in a contrived friendly manner we both agreed he was quite angered over sharing item(s ) from the menu. .,
Service was impeccable as usual, we had Michael as our server. Overall the food was great. Only suggestion was to watch the salt or seasoning with the Blackened Shrimp Pasta. I’ve had it before but this time the blackened shrimp was very salty. Almost like they didn’t realize how much salt or seasoning they put in it. I was with 5 other people who would’ve waited to eat until my meal was corrected, so didn’t say anything. I never send food back, being in the industry. I ate around it, small pieces of the shrimp with the pasta, which was good. I shared some of my boyfriends short rib with mashed potatoes. He agreed with me about the blackened shrimp. I tasted the lamp chop, my friend who was celebrating his birthday had- and it was wonderful. He raved about it all night, along with the eggplant parm. The crab cake and scallop apps were delicious and so was the arugula salad.
I've driven by this place countless times and I'm angry I've taken this long to come here. My experience was excellent, from start to finish. I was taken aback on the fine dining Italian, I assumed it was mom and pop. It's clean, has ample parking, beautiful view, great for events, awesome happy hour specials and the manager is circling around constantly for anyone's needs. The lighting and music selection make it incredibly romantic.
It is a little pricey but when you want to go somewhere nice and you have someone with dietary restrictions - this is a place that can accommodate everyone. Very impressive plant based menu. Most chefs are intimidated by doing something along these lines and they kept it classic, simple and tasty. I never regretted not ordering the meat dish. Yum. All of the dishes that came out were made with attention and care. You can tell someone took their time on the food because nothing is rushed. Plenty of desserts to choose from. I wouldn't hesitate to go back here again.
Service was terrible, waiter did not tell us the specials until we asked. The bread that was served was cold as if it just came out of the refrigerator. Then our meals came, filet mignon and the assorted seafood. These are nearly 50.00 dollar dishes which I'm fine with if the food backs up the price. The filet was covered in a brown gravy which was unusual and the seafood was covered in a yellow cream sauce. We would have liked butter and steak sauce but Not once were we asked how our meals were, my water was empty for 12 minutes (yes I timed it). I asked the waiter finally "Did you forget about us?" Overall was a terrible experience for a 154.00 dollar meal for 2.
As a plant-based eater dining out with my omnivore boyfriend, this place served our needs. We wanted to dine somewhere nice for our evening in Vegas and I stumbled across Panevino while perusing the internet and the place did not fail. The people were great and knowledgeable, the food was delicious, and the ambience was perfect. We had the bruschettone, and I had the grilled veggie lasagna, while my boyfriend decided on the plant-based menu’s spaghetti. Everything we ordered from the plant-based part of the menu was exceptionally delicious, even the dessert! The best part about it was that the general manager came and spoke to us about plant-based eating and definitely helped me understand my journey better. Definitely looking forward to coming back.
Upscale Northern Italian cuisine. Located just south of the airport Panevino is a large restaurant with several divided sections creating a more intimate experience. Both booth and table options. Lots of Windows offering some evening views of south Vegas albeit at a distance. Lots of self parking.
My wife and I went here after attending the Las Vegas Bowl, Go Boise St. We had reservations for a Saturday evening but the place was not full throughout our visit.
We sat in a booth suitable for a party of six which tells you they were slow that night.
Panevino has an extensive wine list however even their lower end offerings are not inexpensive. For starters my wife had a traditional salad while I had the tomato soup. Both fine. I had the veal piccata while my wife had the short ribs over fettuccine. Delicious. Michael, our waiter, was attentive and a pleasure, (even if he was a Cubs fan)
Desert was the sampler which included mini versions of the tiramisu, the creme brulee and a strawberry shortcake I believe.
While Panevino is on the expensive side especially with wine included, it was a nice departure from typical Vegas hotel restaurants in an off strip locale.
Went for anniversary dinner. Service was prompt and friendly while upscale. Food variety was great and food items were served at proper temperature and tasted great. Huge wine list and full bar choices. Great view of the LV Strip and McCarran Airport runways. Had an amazing evening.
At the holiday, Panevino is beautifully decorated. The true Christmas spirit is here. The wait staff is solicitous but not pesky. The service is excellent and friendly. The food is carefully prepared and beautifully plated. Everything makes for a festive and memorable dinner!
Excellent dinner and service. Couldn’t have asked for better. They also brought out dessert for my husbands birthday, on the house! Would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a delicious dinner and a peaceful ambiance. Really authentic Italian food and excellent wine list.
