Panevino Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Panevino is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. It is a great restaurant and bar off the strip and outside the hotel/casino environment.
The wine and liquor selection is very good, the menu is quite interesting and the service is attentive and very responsive.
It is equally well-suited for business dining or a quiet romantic meal for two.
This restaurant has always been a favorite but havnt been in several months. When our food came its want the quality we have always experienced in the past. Sauces were different not a flavorful. We were wondering if ownership or kitchen staff has changed. For the cost was definitely disappointed . The restaurant is lovely and always had good service .
Outstanding selection for vegetarians and Vegans. Some of the dishes were good but need a little more. The humus wrapped in eggplant would have been even better with some lemon infused olive oil. The gnocchi was served in a very simple tomato sauce and would have benefited from a more seasoned marinara. Much of this is personal taste. The Seabass was cooked perfectly and the arugula salad was very tasty. Certainly try this place and express your preferences.
LOved the place and the beautiful view if the strip. My reservation was at 7:30 and did not get a table (for 2) until 7:45. The waiter dropped off the wine menu and never came back. After a while a manager came to our table and took our drink order. The waiter again did not come to take our dinner order . After waiting for over 15 minutes called on the manager again to ask if we could be helped. He apologized and proceeded to take our order he also sent a free appetizer to our table. The initial waiter delivered our food and later came back to ask if everything was ok. He didn’t appear happy or showed genuine concern about what happened. Never apologized. Usually tip at least 20% but tjus time only tipped 10%. The food was very good!! Because of that we will come back again hopefully get better service.
First I have to preface the review with some background. I am from Italy and make all my own homemade pasta, gravy and Italian ethnic food. If you want outstanding food with homemade pasta and experience an owner Vincenzo who cares about his guests and food get in you car, plane, taxi or whatever and get there as fast as you can. I have eaten Italian food in many places, New York, Boston and overseas and this in my opinion is 6 stars.
We had to ask our server for more water and to fill our wine glasses. Dirty dishes sat in front of us for a long time. For the price they should employ multiple servers or at the very least a busser to assist the server. I have never been to a restaurant of this scale and had only one person attending to us and the same server attending alone to a party of 20 right next to us. Food was great quality but a couple dishes came out cold. I have been here multiple times and this was my first poor experience. I say step up the customer service!
Panevino was a delightful surprise! My husband and I are plant-based physicians (vegan) from Omaha, Nebraska. My sister recommended we dine here due to their extensive plant-based menu-it did not disappoint! The food was spectacular! The general manager Vincenzo is extremely knowledgeable and well versed in plant-based nutrition. He is a graduate of Dr. T. Colin Campbell’s nutrition course from Cornell University so not only is his food delicious but creatively nutritious. He graciously stopped by our table taking time from his busy evening to passionately talk with us about our diet and his menu. A more hospitable host you will not find. Add to this a stunning view of the Las Vegas skyline in a beautiful setting with an extensive wine list and diners are in for one amazing evening!
Grazie Mille Vincenzo!
Panevino is one of the few fine dining restaurants open for lunch and hence is perfect for a classy business lunch with clients or suppliers. The availability of round tables is particularly welcome for a business meeting. Great menu on the pricier side but excellent quality and presentation. Officially the restaurant is open until two for lunch, but they won't run you off if you wish to stay as late as you like. I found out that you can still get the full menu at the bar at any open hour, even thought they're officially closed from 2:00 until 5:00. There are booths and some tables in the bar too. This is the restaurant I always go to for that important business lunch.
I made my reservation on-line 2 days ahead and requested for a window table for 2. Panevino met my request and gave me the best window table in the house. Michael was our waiter. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. He introduced the restaurant and the menu very well. He described in full detail the dishes we were interested in. With that we were able to decide on the dish we wanted. Michael also recommended a very suitable table wine for our meal. I will definitely return to Panevino and will request to be served by Michael again.
We went there because it was vegan we ordered the vegan lasagne $26.00 and the vegan meatloaf my husband substituted the mashed potatoes for risotto that was an extra 10.00 charge for a total of $36.00. The lasagne was very dry and I did order more sauce for it. My husband liked his meal but again the sauce on the meatloaf was very sparse and we had to get more sauce. The ambiance was very nice the service was great but way over priced for what you get. The ravioli was $26.00 for 5 pieces.
It took over 40 minutes to order our meal even though we were one of the first tables seated that evening. As the evening progressed our table seemed to be invisible. We had issues with a couple of our meals and never saw our waiter to ask for assistance. I was very disappointed as we were celebrating a special occasion for friends from out of state. Our prior experiences here has been excellent and worthy of returning, not so this time. A VERY expensive mistake
