Nestled within Grayton Beach, Pandora's is a family-friendly fine dining restaurant that serves steaks and seafood dishes in elegant surrounds. The restaurant prides itself on using only the freshest seafood ingredients and finest cuts of USDA beef for a mouthful of flavor. Open since 1978, this restaurant is famous for its slow-roasted prime ribs, offered on Wednesdays and Sundays as menu specials.
Pandora's makes a nice pick if you're in the mood for a juicy grilled dish. Gorge yourself on some oak-fired T-bone, steak lobster or some center cut pork chops. Complement it with a slice of New-York-style cheese cake. The restaurant's charming dining area includes a beached yacht and a full-service Tiki bar where guests can relax with some wine or cocktail. Pandora's also boasts several private banquet facilities capable of seating groups of up to a 100 people.
for the first 30 minutes we had the dinning room to ourselves......kind of fun. food was good as has always been. i love the "wood grilled" steaks.
First time dining at Pandora's and my wife and I were very pleased. Server Elaine was outstanding as was the Prime Rib and the Soft Shell Crab dinners. We are planning to dine there again next week.
Great steaks! Filet Oscar was exceptional. Ate here twice during our trip. Service was very good both nights.
Food was average, service was good. Vegetable medley = bowl of broccoli.
They try very hard on the service so kudos for that. Unfortunately the restaurant needs much in the way of ambiance, including a musty smell. I've been coming to this area for over 15 years and always thought this was a beer and burger bar, surprised that the reviews were excellant and it's hard to get a table during july for 7 without a long wait. Food was ok, the lobster was a bit overcooked and the fried green tomatoes could have done without the ketchup drizzle. Salad mediocre. This place seems to specialize in steaks but we opted out since we were in the mood for seafood. Crab legs one person liked, ribs not so good, the grouper was not a hit but the shrimp scampi was. Basically it seems hit or miss with an old musty odor.
A pleasant surprise in a sleepy little beach community. Good was excellent and service was top notch. Casual family atmosphere.
Food was delicious!! The Restaurant wasn't very busy, service was slow and disorganized.
Place could definitely use some upgrading. Very dark inside, not due to diming lights for dinner but lack of lighting.
The pork chop was very tasty. Could have more surf and turf choices. Overall a good restaurant
Great Alaskan crab legs, service outstanding and even the hot bread rated high with the group
Great food for reasonable price. Bone in ribeye was fantastic.
Our food was excellent and the staff was great. We also had no wait because of using open table.
We were pleasantly surprised. Wasn't crowded for an fairly early dinner. We would go back.
Outstanding seafood and steaks! Really enjoyed the wood grilled entrees.
Best Delmonico steak on the beach.
Awful initial seating by speaker with static. Nice enough to move a party if 8 to quieter location but service was the worst I've received from any restaurant anywhere in the last 10 yrs. Wait staff was clueless. Will never return and I'm a local
I understand the limited menu on festival weekend, but then they were out of most of those items. Our server was absolutely the worst. I own a home in Watercolor and have eaten here often, but this was my last visit for sure. I asked the people at table next to us to watch profanity and mentioned it to our waiter. It fell upon deaf ears.
This restaurant is one of the worst I've ever been to. We literally walked out after trying our appetizer (the French onion soup - a can of Campbell's beef broth would have tasted better). Dingy, cluttered and rundown.
Food was outstanding, excellent place, wood fire grill, excellent drinks, perfect potatoe, salad was great, service was outstading
We didn't go in. The appearance once we pulled up threw us. There were people standing close to the entry smoking, yelling loudly at people leaving: it was such a turn off
We eat at Pandora's regularly. They never disappoint and is a perfect place for entertaining large groups of visitors
We brought friends and family. They loved it. We will be back
The food was absolutely the best. We had the most pleasant waitor, always checking on us. We would definitely come back. We were very pleased with everything.
Absolutely terrible! Worst dining experience I've ever had. Service was awful. Not sure about the food. After two hours of waiting for our food without any apologies, we left.
My meat was underdone and the staff was accommodating to further cook it. The green tomato appetizer was outstanding and the service was excellent. The noise was tolerable and the seating was about 1/3 to 1/2 full at 6. The second experience was not as good as the first, but still good to very good.
Decided we wanted Seafood and Steak (sorry Mitchell's!) so we decided to try Pandora's in Grayton beach after reviewing the online reviews. Most notable for its nightlife we hit it right at opening so we could have a quiet romantic dinner and then have time to hit the sand for the sunset (since it was our anniversary). The restaurant is beach-funky in style which suits Grayton perfectly.. the menu was good with a nice selection of items at decent price points. Our server was the standout of the evening. Rebbecca was a pro, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Even if the food had been bad she would have been a reason to give it another try.. bu the food was good! Seafood Gumbo for starters, Dominico cut rib steak ordered medium, it came medium rare which was fine with us, basic solid house salad with a nice balsamic dressing and a classic baked potato with the works all contributed to a very nice meal. We had to try the Fried Strawberries dessert.. YES! Super good there's really now way to describe it.. crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside served with ice cream, whipped cream and stripped nicely with chocolate and strawberry sauce... +++
The grouper, prime rib and bread pudding were fantastic. The key lime pie was good, along with a good drink selection. The margarita advertised patron tequila, but it tasted more like Cuervo. Overall, an excellent Grayton dining experience, large portions, will eat there again!
We did not eat out a lot on this vacation, due to long lines, cash only, no a/c once inside. Then on the last day of our vacation we found Pandora's. It was the best dining experience of the whole trip.
My husband is very hard of hearing and could hear everyone talking, the waiter was cordial, knowledgeable and courteous, the food was fabulous. All in all, I would recommend it to everyone that I know is going to Florida.
The extra cut prime rib was memorable as being the toughest and worst tasting prime rib I have ever been served; and I have been served a lot. It was laced with gristle and very little of the 18 oz. cut was editable. If not for the Filet Mignon steaks others ordered which were excellent, and for the gumbo soup which was excellent, I would have sent it back. Service was spotty with our waitress serving multiple large tables. Never again at Pandora's. There are too many excellent restaurants in the area.
Cozy devour and friendly staff. The grouper in several dishes was outstanding and very fresh. Gotta save room for the fried strawberries!
This is a great local place that takes reservations, has good food and friendly service.
Very good service & food. Will go back
Food was great, however the room was so hot that we could not enjoy it. Mentioned this to the staff, but got zero response. After a hot day on the beach, sitting in a hot resturant is not ideal
We wanted a steak and the locals sent us here. I remember Pandora's from "the old days" when it was a bar and animals wandered around freely. It's beautiful now, and the food was fantastic. Tristan was our server and was attentive and friendly. Knew the menu very well. We enjoyed everything we had, including martinis and the burgundy mushrooms. It was the perfect spot for a good meal, cool atmosphere and spot-on service.
Food is great, as is the service. Not busy so it's easy to get a table. Prices are good too. The decor is '70's Hawaii with bamboo all around. Very outdated. I highly recommend it if food, service and price are your focus. Don't bring someone here to impress them with ambiance.
We had a party of 6 consisting of my brother, his wife (from out of town), 2 neighbors, and me and my spouse. We were there around 6 p.m. on 5/9/15, so very few people in the dining room at that time. Our waiter was very inattentive, more intrested in standing around outside smoking than helping us out. Except for one person, we all ordered steak. The steaks were all over the place in size and thickness, for the same type order. My brother and I both ordered the same size ribeye. His was about 3/4" thick, and mine about 1-1/2". The varioius steaks were either overcooked, or undercooked. Potatoes and veggies were cold, etc. This was a "thank you" dinner for our neighbors who helped us take care of our 91-year-old mother when she fell while we were out of town. The whole dinner was nearly $500. Since we were a party of 6, the waiter tried to put on a $70 tip. We always look at our checks, and corrected that number to what we thought the service and food were worth.
This dinner is in contrast to a great one we had a month or so ago. Great service, all the food done properly, etc. And, it was a weekend night, so the dining room was very busy.
If your looking for a great steak cooked over a oak wood fire this is your place. We go there for special occasions and have always been pleased with the food and service
The food, ambiance and service was geared for older tourist... I won't be going back.
We were vacationing with friends and asked some locals where they like to eat. Pandora's came highly recommended! The food was delicious. Fried green tomato appetizer was so good! Steaks were cooked to perfection! Local beer was delish! We will defintely dine there again when in the Panama City area.
Server was great. We ordered the prime rib and it had a very strange texture to it that made it difficult to eat. Other servers were very loud and at times making inappropriate comments about regular customers. They had a good wine list and pour was very generous . We may go back during summer to sit outside and have drinks and appitizers.
The steaks are the best I have had. Cooked over an open flame using oak wood. Great flavor. The Chefs special Tuna appetizer and entrée are amazing.
