Pancho's - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Our group of four enjoyed Sunday brunch at Pancho's. The Tacos De Wahoo and Enchiladas Mole were delicious. The traditional Mexican atmosphere created for this restaurant is very attractive. The service was friendly and attentive. The prices are somewhat higher than at more ordinary Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas.
This was the two year anniversary of the restaurant and everything is now very good, from the hostesses, to the ambience, to the service and last but not least, the food. It was excellent. I started with the jalapeño margarita which was spicy and smooth. This was perfect with the Camarones Diablo, consisting of nice sized shrimp in a not too hot sauce, accompanied by the arroz verde and delicious sautéed vegetables. My husband had the wahoo fish tacos and said they were delicious. I am looking forward to returning soon for another nice dining experience.
I have to say I was disappointed with Pancho's after a friend told me it was good. But, I went with this friend and he too was disappointed in his second visit to the restaurant. I had chicken en mole and it was just O.K. Back in Sherman Oaks, CA my go to dish at Casa Vega was Chicken en mole and so I know mole and this was not up to par.
A little pricey for a Mexican restaurant but the meals are beautifully prepared and presented. Portions are large and very tasty. Big and varied menu makes choosing tough. You'll change your mind several times.
The Manager, Doug, is always so friendly and fun. His staff is top notch. Will return often.
We went to Pancho's for a late lunch/early dinner on a hot Saturday afternoon. It was the perfect thing to do. The restaurant has a lot of greenery and felt very refreshing with the sound of the fountain. The nachos with carne asada were delicious with a Dos Equis Amber. The chips were tasty and managed to not get soggy with the sauce, guacamole, sour cream and jalapeños. My husband enjoyed a taco salad with chicken and commented that the chicken was "real," with a lot of flavor and shredded instead of chopped. We both enjoyed our meals and will certainly return soon.
Love this place! Great food and fun atmosphere. You feel as if you have been transported to Puerto Vallarta for an authentic Mexican meal. Celebrated my birthday and they put a fun sombrero on you, sing happy birthday and take your picture to commemorate the occasion.
We had lunch at Pancho's with our two house guests from North Carolina. We had eaten at Pancho's often, but it was their first visit to the restaurant. We all enjoyed the Mexican atmosphere and the food was delicious with very ample portions.
