Pancetta Ratings and Reviews
Fried calamari was chewy and undercooked. Veal entrée was very good, though. Everything else was just mediocre. Our waiter gave us dessert menus and the completely disappeared. I had to flag another waiter to take our dessert order. Then our waiter appeared with the check. All in, a mediocre, overpriced experience.
Our Wedding Anniversary dinner coincided with a bodybuilding competition in the hotel. Thus the property was teeming with contestants, spectators and vendors. Despite the commotion the restaurant staff was very accommodating as we changed our reservation several times. Eventually, the suggestion was to dine in the bar to preserve a more intimate setting. Where we had a great time and the food was excellent.
The waitstaff was particularly on-point this visit. I'm going to say that Pancetta continues to be my "go to restaurant" for everything but seafood (their seafood is lovely; I just have a favorite seafood joint in the neighborhood). I'm really fond of this restaurant.
My husband and I were there for our anniversary for dinner, but it was only a so-so experience. The waitress was lovely, service was great. We did enjoy splitting the Pancetta salad, and my hsuband's entree (pork chops in a mushroom demi-glaze was very good, but I was disappointed in my sea scallops dish. I didn't really enjoy the Tuscan tomato sauce, there were almost no vegetables except for the potatoes the scallops were on. The most irritating part was the background muzak that Marriott has piped into the restaurant as well as throughout the hotel... very contemporary, loud, hiphop music that was not conducive to a nice quiet dinner in the restaurant. I complained, and the manager came over to apologize, but said he could do nothing else. We won't be returning here anytime soon.
Worst food ever.
Will avoid that place at any cost. The only good thing was the service. But the food will make anyone sick.
Bread - was at least 3 days before old and warmed on oven.
Salads - old and diacusting.
Pastas - i bet the cook forgot them boiling.
Sauce - no taste at all. It looked like old shoes.
Horrible horrible experience
We always enjoy this restaurant we come every month. The food is good. We tried and enjoyed
varied dishes. Never had a complaint with the food or portion size. Our server Fakrul ( who we always ask for) is always attentive even when the restaurant is packed.
What a lovely, unexpected pleasure! I don't do a lot of hotel restaurants, but this one was on-point. The food was excellent, the service was focused and ready without being cloying, and the GM personally checked on me throughout the meal. I felt valued and cared-for, and I had an absolutely delicious meal.
Service was good. Steak was chewy. We have had better food elsewhere, but for Christmas dinner options were limited. Probably would not bother to go there again even tho the location is convenient for us. Overall it was OK, but nothing to get excited about.
This is our neighborhood "go to restaurant" since it is located very near where I live. Located in the Glenpointe Marriott Hotel, very close to parkways...diversified menu...great service. We dine her often and always are welcomed when we arrive. We love the banquet booth in the back room....cozy and comfortable. I have met friends and dined for lunch as well. A winner!
When I walked into the restaurant, I was surprised that it was a casual setting, but I am please to say that the food was what the reviewers indicated; excellent!!
We ordered Steak, though it was not on lunch menus , but our great server asked to be cooked for us, and it was so scrumptious!! We also had Seabass and Salmon, both were deliciouse !
All my friends were please that I picked this place, will go back there again!!
I met a client there to celebrate the closing on her home, and we had a lovely experience. The service and ambiance were lovely, quiet and tables not crowded together. Our wine was delicious, and menu had enough variety. We chose to share the Pancetta salad to start, which was yummy, and both of us ordered one of the specials, the fillet of sole stuffed with crabmeat and green beans. It was excellent! We finished off the meal with a tres leche cake slice, and really felt like it was a special experience. we will definitely return there again.
I work in the building next door. My co-workers and I come for the lunch pasta bar quite often and always have a great experience. The food is very good and the staff are wonderful! It is also a good spot for dinner. We have ordered meals many times when working late and have gone in for evening meals as well. They never disappoint!
WE were looking for something quiet and easily accessible to meet friends for dinner. We had been here for a HS reunion and the food is great! Service was a little slow but it gave us time to talk and enjoy our company. Great place to meet friend coming in from NYC as well since the bus stops outside the Hotel.
