Pamplemousse Le Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We had a 120 birthday celebration and it was a lot of fun. We had half of he restaurant and it was set up beautifully! Walked in to a beautiful set table for 18. The presentation was wonderful, the waiters were very attentive, everyone ordered a la carte off the menu and got exactly what they asked for. The main thing was that the food was very delicious and very reasonable. Will definitely spread the word and recommend to all my friends that visit Las Vegas. Thank you Pamplemousse for a beautiful evening!
Found this restaurant on Open Table and went looking for something different with some nice ambiance but a place where we didn't have to yell to hear each other while having a nice meal. From the moment Kiefer welcomed us we knew we were in for something special. Amazing food, history, ambiance and service. Highly recommend.
This is one of the best kept secrets in Vegas. The history is incredible, and the waiters will be happy to share some of it with you. The ambiance is old world European, and a great place to relax with friends, or with a date. Impeccable service, none better. Finally, to the food, always spectacular. Needless to say, one of my favorite restaurants.
Menu was interesting, but food was mediocre. Service was slow, and not great in any way. It was disappointment, as I chose this place for NYE dinner after reading good reviews for this restaurant. Now I agreed totally with negative reviews I tried to ignore before.
As always Keefer maintained an excellenct level of service from the staff while dealing with one of the busiest CHristmas Eve evenings in years, a testamony to the ongoing superb dining experiences fro this 42 year old family owned and operated restaurant. The sommelier helped me pick out a perfect pairing with the wild boar in a red wine reuction. The duck liver pate was creamy and delicious which was paired with framboise flavored champaigne that seemed to evaporate on the tongue into a cloud of flavor. No detail was overlooked in the menu. This is a restaurant I would highly recommend if you are in Las Vegas.
Was recommended by a friend for a romantic dinner and it was above and beyond expectations. The tuxedoed waiters were friendly, courteous and well versed in the menu. The fresh vegetable basket was a great appetizer and the fixed price menu gave us plenty to eat with lots of different tastes. We weren't rushed at all so we enjoyed the ambiance to its fullest. A true gem of old Las Vegas!
Took my wife for her birthday. Earlier that day i had unfortunately injured my back and had to try a new pain pill that made it very hard for me to make a decision on what i wanted for dinner. The staff was very helpful and patient as i made my decision and had good suggestions. We ordered and had a lovely night. No pressure to hury along or open up the table. The restraunt had a good flow of people but was never crowded. I do recommend reservations. Food was exceptional and we will return soon.
I was greeted at the door by the Executive Chef and was seated at once. My choice was the 5 course gastronomic prix fix menu. The best part of the meal was the main course: a full pistachio encrusted rack of lamb; all 8 chops. Pomme frittes come with the meal, but I was offered a sample side plate of French Fettucine. Instead of ricotta cheese, they prefer to use heavy whipping cream and powdered fresh parmesean cheese. Fresh chopped parsley is the garnish. For dessert I enjoyed a freshly prepared grande marnier souffle. This restaurant is one of the oldest and best nouveaux French cuisine in Las Vegas. I remember going there in 1978 for the first time.
My favorite restaurant experience in Las Vegas! I only come to Vegas every few years, but nothing has ever changed about The Pamplemousse. The food, ambience and service are always as wonderful as my last visit. Totally worth the trip, and an excellent value for a truly special dining experience. We had the Osso Bucco and the Lamb, both were falling off the bone tender and perfectly cooked. Never ever pass up a chance to have the Gran Marnier souffle, no one does it better and it is a perfect texture and size to cap off the well portioned meal. I look forward to my next visit and have no doubt we'll be delighted as always.
The place was stuffy, warm. No cool air circulation. The salmon was good. The chicken cordon Bleu was pathetic. Very small, and tasteless. I could have had better from the super market. Too many other restaurants with tastier and bigger portions.
One of the best authentic French restaurants we have found in a long time. Minus the escargot not being served in the shell ( forbidden in Las Vegas )
The food was so good we went back two nights in a row. It’s campy old Vegas but as authentic as it gets. Can’t say enough about it. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
This restaurant has been around for 42 years, and now we know why! Very friendly, attentive staff make you feel like you’re visiting their home. It’s a lovely atmosphere, food is very good, and several pri fine options make dining here a treat. We’ll be back.
Spectacular. Off the strip, old school, friendly and attentive staff. Mouth watering. Unbelievably delicious. We were not disappointed. We chose the five course pre fixe menu. Lobster bisque was creamy and delicious; escargot were cooked perfectly and served in a superb garlic cream sauce. Grapefruit sorbet was indescribably good. I had the wild salmon, my husband had the wild boar. The salmon was perfect, the wild boar was out of this world. Wow! For dessert the creme brulette and chocolate soufle. We will go back next time we visit Las Vegas.
OMG. Absolutely one of the finest dining pleasures of my life. Last time I ate here was 31 years ago. I remember loving the food and old world ambiance. And I was not disappointed all these years later. Never had better duck and the grand marnier soufflé was the perfect end to a gracious dining experience. They’ve been in business 41 years. Here’s hoping for the next 41.
