A wonderful respite from the cacophony of the strip. Excellent food and engaged service.

First class dining experience. The only weak link is their dessert--both options and quality. Everything else is wonderful!

The place was stuffy, warm. No cool air circulation. The salmon was good. The chicken cordon Bleu was pathetic. Very small, and tasteless. I could have had better from the super market. Too many other restaurants with tastier and bigger portions.

One of the best authentic French restaurants we have found in a long time. Minus the escargot not being served in the shell ( forbidden in Las Vegas )
The food was so good we went back two nights in a row. It’s campy old Vegas but as authentic as it gets. Can’t say enough about it. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful dinner, from the crudités basket to the yummy soufflé. The New Zealand lamb chops were melt-in-your-mouth. Service was excellent, as usual.

Spectacular. Off the strip, old school, friendly and attentive staff. Mouth watering. Unbelievably delicious. We were not disappointed. We chose the five course pre fixe menu. Lobster bisque was creamy and delicious; escargot were cooked perfectly and served in a superb garlic cream sauce. Grapefruit sorbet was indescribably good. I had the wild salmon, my husband had the wild boar. The salmon was perfect, the wild boar was out of this world. Wow! For dessert the creme brulette and chocolate soufle. We will go back next time we visit Las Vegas.

OMG. Absolutely one of the finest dining pleasures of my life. Last time I ate here was 31 years ago. I remember loving the food and old world ambiance. And I was not disappointed all these years later. Never had better duck and the grand marnier soufflé was the perfect end to a gracious dining experience. They’ve been in business 41 years. Here’s hoping for the next 41.

Relatives had dined at Pampelmousse and highly recommended it. We were traveling with another couple and booked a reservation. The service was outstanding and the food delicious. The soft lighting and decor make it one of the most romantic restaurants we've been to. Perfect for special occasions.

Authentic French food served in the old Las Vegas style. If you would like to escape the glitz of the strip, Pamplemousse is a short cab ride away. Well worth your time.

This was stepping back into Las Vegas in the 1950's. The service was impeccable, the food prepared perfectly and atmosphere totally different from flashy Vegas today. It was so nice to dine instead of just eat. The only thing wrong is that it took us so long to find this place. We will be there every time we are in Vegas.

This is one of Las Vegas's hidden gems!! An absolute must do while in Vegas. Did an internet search before leaving New Hampshire for an off the beaten path French restaurant. The reviews were great, the menu was set up so that you could order as you please, or by a desired course and set dollar. Everything was beyond expectation. From the quaint rooms, to the more than helpful staff, to the bottle of wine, the appetizer, and the meal of veal shank that was cooked to perfection and fell off the bone. I did ask what the knife was for? LOL! Keiffer and Koncho ( I hope I spelled them correctly) are tops in their careers! Thank you gentlemen! What a wonderful few hours we had with you. See you next year! Compliments to the chef and staff that we did not meet.

Very old school french dining. The dishes are all done in the classic french style. Our salad was brought out in a big basket with a variety of fresh vegetables that you could pick from to make your own salad. We shared escargot which was excellent and my wife had Steak and pom frits which was cooked perfectly and I had Chilean sea bass that literally melted in my mouth. The waiter was great he told fun stories and offered suggestion for entrees. A very nice evening. We will definitely be back.

I was not disappointed! I had wanted to go to this restaurant for years and was so glad I finally made it. Excellent food in a charming atmosphere, very much "Old Vegas." The 5-course tasting menu that we got was an excellent value for $58--you would pay that for an entree in many Strip restaurants. And we had a very nice bottle of wine for just $32--so don't be scared off thinking French must equal "expensive"--not here. I would highly recommend!

This was our second visit to Pamplemousse and we were not disappointed. I had the fixed price $39.95 menu and had a fantastic meal including a fine pate, lamb shank so tender it was falling off the bone and for dessert their signature Grand Marnier Soufflé ($4 supplement). My wife had the escargots as a starter and a double portion of the mussels as her main course. Both dishes were subtly flavored and delicious. The service was attentive and cheerful. The palette cleanser of raspberry sorbet with champagne was a surprise and a delight. I can understand why the restaurant is celebrating its 41st anniversary!

Before selecting Pamplemousse to dine at for a very special occasion I researched many options. It is safe to say I didn't enter this establishment with any misconceptions of what to expect. The service and ambiance were about the same as illustrated in reviews and articles. Although I will say I could have done without hearing of diners famous from an older era then having the fortune of listening the waiter thrust the same unsolicited spiel upon each party after. The staff and proprietor definitely need stop using the glory of celebrity as a guise and let the guest's experience speak for itself. However I suppose if they did, people would soon realize the abominable effort the kitchen is putting forth. This is why I felt compelled to leave this review.

As soon as my entree was served I was seething. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu and on my plate sat the very same version I make at home from my freezer in my toaster over! It was the exact same shape, processed texture and flavor. The swiss cheese had even bubbled out of the same spot it does when I make it at home. Sadly that is because it was probably mass produced in the same facility. It was unmistakable. When I dine at restaurant that is so historic, well reviewed and pricey, I, at the very least expect the kitchen to prepare the food. How the chef and proprietor can rest on their laurels so much to have gotten to the point of sending frozen food out of their kitchen is abhorrent and deceitful. It is also offensive to assume the guests aren't savvy enough to tell the difference. I didn't bother saying anything because its obvious they just don't care anymore. What good would it do? Instead maybe prospective diners can learn from my egregious and disheartening experience and choose a different restaurant to patronize. Unless, you want to overpay for food you can pick up from the frozen food aisle, then by all means go right ahead.

This restaurant is a throw back to the traditional French restaurants in the US that were popular 20+ years ago. Menu has all the old standards including onion soup, duck and soufflés which is why we went. Quiet on the night we were there so service was very good. Location a bit off the beaten track and in an old building. Prices very reasonable so if looking for a older French style meal this is a viable choice.

Excellent crudités salad presentation. Basket of romaine, celery, carrots, zucchini, red cabbage, broccoli, etc. homemade vinaigrette on the side
I had the $80 restaurant week 5 course meal. With Sea Bass and Prawns. Fish was super fresh and perfectly done. Pre order the Soufflé. Fantastic!

Wine list could use some punch. But Wine was reasonably priced.
We had 9 people in a private room. Very quiet, easy to talk to each other. Service was good not pushy. Excellent recommendations and not intrusive.
It is in a weird location and has been there for years.
I am definitely going back. A classic. No fancy chefs. Relaxed atmosphere.
