As Las Vegas locals this is one of our favorites. Excellent food excellent service reasonably priced.
THE RESTAURANT WAS IN AN OLDER BUILDING. BUT THE SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY WAS FANTASTIC. ONE OUR GUESTS LOVED THE WINE THAT WAS SERVED SOO MUCH HE TOOK A PHOTO OF THE BOTTLE SO HE MAY BUY A CASE OF IT. THIS WAS MY FIRST FRENCH RESTAURANT AND IT WON'T BE MY LAST. THE CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE WAS A GREAT ENDING TO OUR MEAL. WE ALL AGREED IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.
This was a lovely experience. The food and service were outstanding and it was nice to dine in a restaurant with so much history and character, something that we no longer have enough of. The soufflé was outrageous!
It was OK. Sea Bass with shrimp was just OK. They were not prawns, but medium shrimp.
We enjoyed the whole dining experience. All of the food was GREAT, but the Lobster Bisque was the best. I would get that again and maybe try other dishes as well.
60s era Vegas ambiance. Classic French cuisine. Very reasonably priced. Service unique with surprisingly unique touches.
Wonderful little French Restaurant. We had a party of 10 and got our own personal waiter. Go there every time we get to Vegas. A neighborhood find, off the beaten path!
We have visited this place twice in the past year. The food and service are consistent.
If you have time, enjoy the excellent service and ambiance here with friends and take advantage of their Prix fixe menu. The food is that of a traditional-style French restaurant. Compliments to the chef! We will return soon.
Took my wife for dinner for her birthday. She suggested we go several months ago. Old treasure from early Las Vegas with history. Must have drove past this restaurant 100+ times over last 21 years. Always saw the pink sign. Glad we went. Food was excellent. Great date or special occasion restaurant.
Visiting from NJ and love French cuisine, we found this quaint local restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance and decor was romantic and charming. The epicurean 5 course meal is a stellar choice but you cannot go wrong with a la carte. The basket of fresh assorted vegetables to start was a welcome experience. From the escargot to the duck entree, everything was exquisite. The staff (John and Concho) were elegant and charming. Diana the host and owner, is such a fine lady and a wonderful person. It was so enjoyable we had to go back a 2nd time before leaving Vegas. Truly one of the finest French cuisine restaurants you'll want to experience.
A gorgeous restaurant with its own unique style. Delicious food and fantastic service. We had a cute little booth and thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. A welcome change and 100 times more enjoyable than the over-priced swanky style-over-substance strip restaurants. Will definitely return with friends.
A hidden gem, as it has been for years. The signature Pamplemousse amazingly huge basket of crudites starts the meal, as always. Among the best onion soup gratinee. Sea bass with shrimp and skewered shrimp and filet were great. Non-comparable desserts. Skip the casinos and dine here.
A hidden gem in Las Vegas. Great food with prices to match.
A great little place just off the strip. Great value and lovely staff.
Always great food, service and ambiance.
Beautiful! John is outstanding. His life of service and knowledge made our first time visit excellent!
The $58 dollar five course prefix menu is a great value. Our server was a little rude at first. But it went with the great French ambiance. The food and wine were delicious. They do not serve hard liquor.
Staff was amazing. We were happy to share a tradition from another time and place with the owner and staff here. My friend and i enjoyed dessert first and the profiteroles were scrumptious. The wild boar was perfect both in execution and flavor. Everyone was friendly and engaging. I couldn't have asked for better service and food with friends. I look forward to returning!
Wasn’t quite as romantic as expected from reviews. Tried and try favorites on the menu, but could use a little updating. Service was impeccable as was presentation of our meals.
This place is amazing! From the servers, to the staff—the food, to the owner coming out to speak with you individually—one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and well worth the money!
Food is awesome and the service top notch. Seated directly and everything after just flowed nicely .
A respite from the Vegas noise. Classic fine dining.
For fine dining in a quiet elegant atmosphere you can't beat Pamplemousse!
A hidden jewel in Vegas, way off the beaten path on East Sahara. A charming home converted into a restaurant, great ambience, food and service. with very reasonable priced for a high end French restaurant.
The atmosphere and service in this restaurant are really a cut above. Very good. I would recommend it to a friend, but I wouldn't recommend the Tournados Of Beef. The meat was extremely tough. My date did order it medium-well, which I know most chefs hate to cook it that way. But, even if it is cooked that way it shouldn't be tough. It was pretty much inedible. Very disappointing. In other restaurants I've ordered steaks medium-well and they were never like that. I did have the Braised Lamb, which was very good. The asparagus and mushrooms in puff pastry, and the chocolate soufflé and the chocolate mousse were very good.
Tres bien! Fabulous French—the food, the menu, the ambience are sophisticated and casual enough for old Vegas charm. Not a place for babies and young children. Perfect for romantic dates, double dates and there’s a delightful room for intimate parties. Must go!
The servers were great help when it came to the menu. And it seemed like they enjoyed the work they do. They are very knowledgeable when it came to the items on the menu as well. Refills were also on point. Thank you guys.
John our waiter was amazing, vast knowledge, story teller. And spot on through our five course meal-that was amazing and what a deal....beats the hell out of the Prime at Bellagio, Hugos, Gordon Ramseys
and many more. We have eaten at all of them....
Dont be fooled by the exterior, once inside your are immediately transported to a bygone era....of class.
A must stop for the epicurean....ample portions....you'll be full....and glad you got acquainted with this Pamplemouse (grapefruit in french)
Always a great experience
Service was impeccable. Food was exceptional. Will dine again.
Everything about my experience at Pamplemousse was absolutely incredible! Truly the best service I've ever had. They were extremely accommodating and did everything they could to make the dinner a very special experience. We had a group of 10 going to celebrate my birthday and the entire staff was wonderful. The experience was great from the moment I made the reservation. They immediately called to see if there was anything they could do to better accommodate us which I find very thoughtful. Upon arrival, they had a long table set up and ready for us. We decided to do the five course menu and everything we had was so delicious! We started off with the fresh vegetables which we could've eaten all of if we didn't have four more courses to come. Between the entire table, I think we tried most of the items on the list and everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. They had great recommendations for wine and beer pairings for our meal as well. Although everything tasted great, a few items that stood out were the appetizer with the lobster bisque, wild boar, duck, and chocolate mousse! I highly highly recommend Pamplemousse for anyone looking for a unique dining experience with an incredibly friendly and knowledgable staff. I can't say enough nice things about them, they were wonderful. They stayed open an hour later for us as well since we were such a large party and it took a while to get through all the courses. I wish I took pictures, but we were all too busy enjoying the food and experience! Thank you all so much for making the dinner so special! I really appreciate how you went above and beyond for us! We will be back!
Our server/manager was amazing! He made us feel welcomed and we appreciate that so much.
Extraordinary and highly recommended! Marsha and I have lived in Las Vegas since the mid-nineties. Sadly, it took us over twenty years to have our first Pampleamousse experience. This past Saturday night we finally gave it a try. Pamplemousse is the restaurant of our dreams; an experience we thought unavailable in today's world. The only downside? Realizing that we have wasted twenty years of great dining! The upside? Everything else. The atmosphere was warm, intimate and inviting. A wonderful restaurant with many nooks and crannies for the tables, designed for conversation and romance. John's service was personal, attentive, informative and warm. Then, of course, the food, from first to last was served in the perfect cadence for taste, conversation, and intimacy. The glow we felt as we left that night has remained with us for days!
We love Pamplemousse so much! It’s one of the last gems of vintage Las Vegas & we appreciate the food, staff & ambiance more than we could express.
The neighborhood is a little run down and the exterior of the restaurant a little dated, so we were pleasantly surprised by the linen covered tables in a warm, cozy set of rooms. The meal was absolutely delicious from the wine through dessert and the service was perfect. A great evening.
A very nice evening. Food was perfect. We'll be back.
We went on Saturday night for the first time. John was our waiter, he was outstanding! We could not recommend anything higher than the chocolate souffle, best ever! Escargot, Rack of Lamb, and the Sea Bass were all excellent! We won't let a lot of time go by before we get back here again. A big thank you to John and the chef for taking such great care of us on our anniversary ❤️
Reserved a table at Pamplemousse for my wife and myself to celebrate our wedding. It was an amazing experience. The restaurant itself, founded by singer Bobby Darrin, was and a whimsical trip back in time to old-world Las Vegas elegance and style — reminiscent of the city’s golden age of the early 1960’s. Even with a fairly early reservation (5pm) we were treated like royalty with impeccable and caring service. I don’t even know where to start with the food — the chef was performing culinary alchemy, with every dish more succulent than the last. My wife, who is a practiced hand with French food and a tough one to impress, was floored with the pure perfection of each course. All in all, Le Pamplemousse is a very special place in Las Vegas and was the perfect setting to celebrate our special day. A visit here is now a prerequisite for my wife and I each time we visit Sin City. A truly magical place.
