Extraordinary as usual! One of our “go to” restaurants when we are in Vegas AND when we lived there. Highly recommend it to everyone. John (our waiter) was wonderful! In a (French) word: Incroyable!
We had a great 5 course meal tonight. The escargot, lamb shank, duck and souffle were amazing. The servers were attentive. We can't wait to return.
We visited this restaurant with friends for dinner. The food was excellent. I had a rib eye steak that was absolutely perfectly prepared and the other people said that their food was excellent as well. The service however, left something to be desired. It was rather brusque and the desert was served before all the people were finished with their entrees. The décor and atmosphere is "grown up" with a quite, romantic feel rather than "jumping vibe".
The food had absolutely no flavor. We were four people with four different appetizers and entrees. Every dish lacked seasoning. It was awful
We were worried when we saw the place (not impressive from the exterior and "far" off The Strip) and when soon after we walked in the manager apologized for perhaps not getting them on their best night because of all the CES customers. Well, if this wasn't the best night, I wonder what is the best night. Service was very good; manager (John) was very attentive; and food was quite good in terms of taste, presentation, and portions). Strongly recommend doing one of the set menus. Some decent wines by the glass.
Las Vegas hidden gem well worth searching out. Fantastic food and professional service.
The waiter was curt and very unfriendly. The food was just ok and not worth the prices charged. The place is a great old Vegas restaurant but as a native I was disappointed.
When In Las Vegas I never miss eating there. It's always perfect.
Celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary at is outstanding restaurant ....service, foods,,ambiance were outstanding. What a perfect night....thank you
Thoroughly old school. Quiet converted house, funky Paris Pied-à-terre interior.
Pris fixe menu is a great value. 5 courses for $58. Every bite was delicious and each dish was a hearty portion. We expected mini desserts but they were huge!
My favorite was a palate cleanser of grapefruit sorbet with a champagne floater! Heaven!
Parking for about 7 cars. You may want to do a rideshare.
Service was poor. Couldn't keep which course we were on straight. Had to ask for more bread, more water. Out of filet mignon and replaced it with ribeye.which was not cooked to order.
My family and I recently enjoyed Christmas dinner at Pamplemousse and we were delighted! The food was beautifully presented and the tastes were divine. I highly recommend this restaurant for foodies, special occasions, or whenever you want delicious French food expertly prepared with the best ingredients.
They adhere to the French style and were very attentive in the service. Great cuisine and very reasonably priced.
Delicious lovely food great service very expensive that’s it
John was most pleasant after
Part of our annual Christmas tradition. Good dining overall although in past years we enjoyed the crudites which was NA this Christmas Eve. Enjoyed the Christmas set menu but again it was not stated so on their website that a la carte was NA and some adjoining diners were complaining. Overall, a happy dining experience!
The only thing I did not liked was the temperature of the food.. was not hot . Please pay attention to this, the food lose the real flavor.
Our dining experience was wonderful. However, our waiter had an unpleasant attitude. We will return
Nice little place we enjoyed the fresh veggies instead of bread on the table food was good especially the lamb shank. Sauces were quite heavy and a bit over powering.
Small quaint restaurant with great service. Everyone was very nice and helpful in deciding what to eat. this restuarant is not on the strip but in a good area. Reminds me the the older day when service was very special and folks treated you as family or a regular guess. would indeed go back there.
I have wanted to go to Pamplemousse for many years, so perhaps my expectations were high. Having said that, the service is excellent, and that actually bolstered my expectations as we were seated. The environment is cute and retro, showing the age of the restaurant (in a good way). But the food was very average; it simply was not fine dining. I had the wild boar, and I found the meat to be under-seasoned and the sauce to be somewhat bland. My wife had the salmon, which she liked, but the veggies were very plain and included a "stuffed tomato" that was basically a tomato with breadcrumbs on it.
The sign by the street is in bad need of repair/updating, which also does not make the venue inviting. I would love to see them improve the food and the curb appeal of the building, as this is certainly a Vegas institution that has been here for over 40 years. Since this was my first visit, I don't know if these are new issues since the recent passing of the original chef/owner.
Love this place!
Superb food and very attentive staff. Made us feel special during our visit
Excellent food, impeccable services, so much classic Vegas charm. Loved it!
We have been coming here for over 15 years. The food and ambiance is perfect for a romantic date or intimate get together.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Pamplemousse. The service was fantastic and began the second you walked in the door. The food was wonderful; my wife had the duck and was very pleased. We had the $80 set menu and were very satisfied with the choices available and the price. We will definitely return. Pamplemousse represents old style Vegas service and quality; it reminded me of why this city has been such a global destination.
Everything was great! They should put French music on in the background so that diners can't hear other's conversations.
I was turned off by the waiter who I felt treated other guests differently than how my fiancé and I were treated. He was short with us but we noticed he took time to explain the menu and charm another couple seated next to us. The food was decent but definitely needed more seasoning. For a classier type of place, you’d expect at least your water to be kept full, especially considering it was all we had to drink. I only remember it being refilled once. It was way too quiet which kind of made me uncomfortable. I felt as if I had to whisper so others seated close to us wouldn’t hear what I was saying. Overall, the food was OK but I doubt I’d return.
Outstanding evening. Ambiance food selection presentation and taste. Service A+.
Wish we lived closer.
Still one of the most enjoyable restaurants in Las Vegas. Old school elegant and great service. Went here 20 years ago and still go for a great night.
Very good find. Excellent food and service. Location and parking was a little off, but not an issue.
As Las Vegas locals this is one of our favorites. Excellent food excellent service reasonably priced.
THE RESTAURANT WAS IN AN OLDER BUILDING. BUT THE SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY WAS FANTASTIC. ONE OUR GUESTS LOVED THE WINE THAT WAS SERVED SOO MUCH HE TOOK A PHOTO OF THE BOTTLE SO HE MAY BUY A CASE OF IT. THIS WAS MY FIRST FRENCH RESTAURANT AND IT WON'T BE MY LAST. THE CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE WAS A GREAT ENDING TO OUR MEAL. WE ALL AGREED IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.
This was a lovely experience. The food and service were outstanding and it was nice to dine in a restaurant with so much history and character, something that we no longer have enough of. The soufflé was outrageous!
It was OK. Sea Bass with shrimp was just OK. They were not prawns, but medium shrimp.
We enjoyed the whole dining experience. All of the food was GREAT, but the Lobster Bisque was the best. I would get that again and maybe try other dishes as well.
60s era Vegas ambiance. Classic French cuisine. Very reasonably priced. Service unique with surprisingly unique touches.
Wonderful little French Restaurant. We had a party of 10 and got our own personal waiter. Go there every time we get to Vegas. A neighborhood find, off the beaten path!
