Consistent amazing food
All around great restaurant.
For 20 years, Pampy has been the best restaurant in San Diego. The food is always great and the staff treats us like family. Whenever I stray to a new restaurant, I'm often left wondering why I've subjected myself to high prices, terrible service and a $20 parking fee. Do yourself a favor, stop going to to all these new hot spots and just go to Pamplemouse. You will never be disappointed.
Great specials. A lot of different options. Accommodating to gluten free needs
Another fabulous meal. Valentine's Day lamb chop and beef filet were exceptional. I appreciate that they are always willing to accommodate my gluten sensitivity. This is our go to place for a special occasion, or when we just want an exceptional dining experience.
Our favorite place for a special occasion . Waitstaff is excellent--very caring. Food is delicious and nice presentation.
Our server was friendly knowledgeable and had great timing. He made suggestions based on our brief conversation that were perfect for us.

Expensive but worth it.
The breads are freshly baked and soft. Appetizer (salmon salad) is great which makes a good start. Entry is yummy and I like the black cod very much. Dessert is cute and sweet. Everything is perfect and we enjoy the conversation so much so that I almost forget the time. This is my first time here, I will recommend more friends in the future. Next time, I will definitely try something more french instead of american.
Had a nice dinner during restaurant week. The service was great. Food was good. Plating was almost non-existent. Thought it was a little pricey for what we got (even at restaurant week prices.) I don't think this a reflection of restaurant week though.
