Pampas Argentine Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Very nice looking and comfortable.
Overall based on my experience of fine dining across the country, the food was ok, way overpriced, not worth the money. Filet was ordered med rare, brought to table rare and cold in middle. Shrimp in pasta were very tough and pasta and sauce were nothing special. The rack of lamb was good, nothing special.. The side dishes were good. Service was subpar for a fine dining establishment. Expected more for the money spent.
Rick was our server and he made our first visit perfect! From his cocktail recommendations to his vast knowledge of the different cuts of steak available, he gave us one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time and the food did not disappoint. Will definitely be back for our special nights out.
Great meal, unfortunately, one of our young female waitress did not approve of our private political conversation among our group, so she drew a F$&@U finger with a smiley face and slipped it into our bill caddy.
We called the manager and explained the events, she tried to diffuse the situation but the damage was already done and we were not pleased.
However, we quickly knew the culprit by her smirky looks and lack of eye contact.
Needless to say, We will not be returning to this establishment.
When a gf friend of mine told me about Pampas recently, she said it's worth going just for the side dishes..and I totally agree! We went for a birthday meal and everything from the location, service, food quality and presentation was spot on. It was like being in BH without having to drive down there!
Recommended drink - Oh Basil I love your way; dishes - center cut filet with au poivre sauce, au gratin potatoes, fried basil corn, white chocolate creme brulee and last but not least - bananas foster. The latter is prepared table side, of course, and was possibly the best we've had anywhere - definitely the best in the ATL! Husband enjoyed the lobster bisque (which I could not have) as well.
Highly recommend Pampas for gluten-free (and regular) diners who love high quality steaks, seafood and interesting sides, who enjoy excellent service and ambiance. Also, valet parking is available and during our visit, we saw no children. Can't wait to go back for brunch ;)
Our reservation was at 6:30 and we were on time but weren’t seated for about 20 minutes. Other than that it was AMAZING! The olive bread is so yummy! We did not get any appetizers because we both got a big juicy steak and shared some sides. We got the grilled asparagus and the sautéed mushrooms. The mushrooms were the best I’ve ever had. My husband actually ate them and loved them. (He typically hates mushrooms) BUT most importantly the steak was the best I’ve ever had!!!!! I eat mine medium rare and it literally melts in your mouth. I highly suggest adding the peppercorn sauce with your steak for an extra $3. We will be back for our wedding anniversary.
Our dinner/anniversary date turned out amazing at this restaurant. We experienced great service and our food was cooked perfectly. I've been to this restaurant many times, but this visit was perfect as we were seated in the Tango room where I can hear my partner as we conversed. Our recent visit was by far the best experience we've had.
The outside of the steak was awesome! Once we got to the center cuts, the meat lost a lot of flavor. Obviously how we ordered it to be prepared plays a part but it was to the point of noticing very little taste. Waiter was awesome! Very informative and nice! (5 stars for him!) Random girl checked us out as the end, she was slightly rude but not enough to ruin the experience! Good experience. — Day later and I’ve decided to lower my ratings for this experience because we just saw that half of our steak leftovers weren’t even included in our take home stuff. Was it thrown away? If we paid for it, why would it not be sent home with us? Kind of disappointing.
First things first, Our waitress Stephanie was phenomenal!
Secondly, I came go Pampas 3 years ago and had thought about coming back if I was ever in Ga again! I booked my flight for Ga and my reservation at the same time!
The menu is my favorite of any steakhouse I've been to and the service is impeccable.
I am not sure if we ever go there again. The menu is very pricey, the wait time was very long for placing order, then everything was delivered pretty quickly. The rack of lamb we ordered was very chewy, the steak was a bit under cooked we asked to add more time. The wine and side dishes were good.
We enjoyed celebrating a special birthday(mine) at Pampas. Blake was our server and he was fantastic!
We all enjoyed our steaks( mostly filets) and salads.
I recommend for the vegetable sides the grilled brussel sprouts and cauliflower in thai chili sauce, potato gnocchi, sauteed mushrooms, and garlic baby spinach.
Another treat was the chocolate volcano cake and the apple empanadas!
