Pampas Argentine Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
The only complaint that I had is that they couldn’t find my reservation and so they just took my name. When they called my name it was the wrong one so we continued to wait. It wasn’t until we decided we were just going to leave that someone stopped us and insisted that he would get us in right away. When the hostess sat us she still insisted that she called our name. When I looked at the slip she left on the table there was a completely different last name. We had food vouchers so it was still worth it to me but if that wasn’t the case i wouldn’t have stayed.
Excellent restaurant! Although I live in West Cobb County, it's certainly worth the drive for Pampas. Never had an issue with anything there. One of the few restaurants that completely understands Pittsburg Medium-Rare. Food is exceptional, as is the Wine List. Service is always top-notch. Go - it's most assuredly worth every dollar you spend!
Dinner at Pampas has become an annual anniversary tradition for us. This year the meal was excellent as usual despite a couple of blips. First, we were seated at a table for 4. The hostess didn't clear the other two place settings. We were greeted (by name) promptly by the server. She took and served our drink order but didn't come back to take our dinner order. We got aggravated about the wait and only after we complained about it did we learn that the extra place settings were a (inaccurate) cue to the server that there would be more people in our party. The server apologized for the misunderstanding, cleared the extra place settings, and service was very good from that point on. As far as the meal, the fried corn with basil was much too salty and we should have sent it back. Everything else was delicious.
The restaurant was not packed but way too noisy so that set the table for a mediocre experience. Very professional server but food not special. I had salmon that did not taste fresh and the rest of the guests had steak they were not raving about. One guest ordered medium rare and it had to go back as it was cooked way too rare. Haven't been here for awhile and probably won't be back.
We arrived at the restaurant and we greeted immediately, we were shown to our table and our waitress I believe was Mindy greeted us and took our drink order. We were explained the specials. We placed our order and the food arrived hot and the presentation was excellent. We were well attended to by our waitress who was very professional and efficient. The recommendations she made for dinner and desert were excellent. Would strongly recommend to friends and family. I am looking forward to a return visit
Solid steaks, great service, nice wine list. I have been all over the world and have dined at great restaurants on every continent. Pampas was very good - no complaints and the food was cooked perfectly. I seem to have trouble finding a truly exceptional restaurant in this area but would call Pampas the go-to option. Really enjoyed it thoroughly.
Made reservations and they put us in the side room in the corner! The ceiling is falling down in that area and I get to see a lovely view of the staff since we were put so far away. I can’t believe with making reservations that I would get a terrible seat. This was my first time there and already not impressed. So while I got to just see a wall that has bathroom tile on it what you would see in a bathroom we ordered a bottle of wine which was really good. But they took our wine cork which was upsetting that they did not ask if we would like to keep it. Ordered an appetizer and it was very good. Next the food came and my steak was over cooked. I ordered medium and it can out medium well. The sides were good though. Have to give it up to the bartender as the cocktails were amazing. After finishing everything we then waited 20 minutes before we had to actually ask for our check. The food was good but I was not impressed at all. I’m really not sure if I would recommend this place or come back. Maybe if I could have enjoyed the ambiance of the environment and not getting placed in a corner in a side room. Just some feedback to think about this place when you go. We were looking at going to Bones but we chose Pampas since it was closer by. For a first time impression I was not impressed.
Food was ordered rare, but came out over cooked. Waited over 1 hour for the food to be brought to the table. Definitely not an “Authentic” Argentinian restaraunt. It was more of a chain restaurant feeling.
I️ would say the presentation and the atmosphere was excellent. Our server went above and beyond with explaining the menu to us(Big Group). Kudos to him, if it weren’t for his service the rating would’ve been much less.
