Great dining again. Highly recommend this place. Everyone should experience pampas
Not good value for the price. Very noisy environment
My first time and I really enjoyed the experience. Would definitely recommend. I did recommend your restaurant to co-workers.
Food was very average....
My daughter was vegetarian...we went for mothers day because her mother wanted to go, however, we figured there would be more vegetarian options but when we asked we were told that there was just one menu for everyone.
My final and biggest issue is that tipping is mandatory. Since when did tipping become mandatory. I tip if the service is good..which it was, and probably would have left a tip anyway, but when it is mandatory it leaves a bad taste in my mouth....will never return no matter how good food is or isnt. Tipping is optional...if it is mandatory it's a cost and for 3 of us for lunch we already paid enough. Thai food is just as good if not better at a fraction of the cost.
I always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. I was surprised at the pricing for the mother's day brunch, it was cheaper than I thought.
Food was great, seating and service was prompt and extremely professional. Rotating meat selection makes for a different food experience every time!
Always delicious food and great service!
We dined on a Monday evening so the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Service was good and food was tasty !
It was a beautiful place with great food & a great experience. I would definitely recommend it to friends.
Thank you for the wonderful experience. Delicious food and great service.
Meat meat meat...all you can eat! :)
Went for a birthday after being recommended by a co-worker. The salad bar was fantastic and had a great mix of items. The staff brought skewers of meat to the tables offering 14 different options to choose from. We ended our meal with dessert and chose the cheese cake which was delicious. The service was above average and our server kept the glasses full and took care of our table very well. Overall the experience was great and I look forward to going back.
Meat, meat, meat it's hard to beat, it was a real treat , we will return! The
This place is absolutely unbelievable. No reasturant in Edmonton is on Pampas level! Great food great service and they even wrote my wife and I a anniversary card.
Well we were expecting an excellent environment and personal service based on what my girlfriend and I had heard about Pampa. Of the 8-10 staff 2 made us feel like we were getting the dinning experience we thought to expect. The food was awful from the tasteless salads wish I had taken some pictures the presentation was half assed and they lacked overall flavour. The meat was a total let down we had to explain to the manager that the meat was extremely salty uneatable at points some so over cooked it was dry and tough. The wine selection is sub par. So after speaking to our server and floor manager they did bring some fresh meat and apologize but at this point the service could not recover the plates of food we had been served for the extreme costs seen in this establishment were not refeclected in the experience.
If it wasn’t for the scencirity of the manager assisting a disabled couple to their table I would have to give a zero star rating for the overall experience. People some times make the biggest impacts on the smallest situations.
For the price I probably wouldn’t go very often. Some of the meat was quite tough, would like to see for chicken options, not all dark , and maybe fish or seafood for the price. Also dessert included or some option on the salad bar, which was very good.
Service was excellent, but I not somewhere I would frequent because I didn’t see the value.
And I would only recommend for somewhere to try once, but not regularly
Carlos and Mel and all the many servers that ensure your plate's always full, are an amazing bunch! I'd eat here every day if I could!
Beef carpaccio at the salad bar was better than all the cooked meat that came to your table. The rest of the salad bar was typical buffet restaurant food.
The rib eye and bacon wrapped chicken thighs were good. We found most of the rest of the meats either tough and chewy, dry or overlooked. You need to be sure you catch the servers when they come right out of the kitchen not after wandering around the tables for a few minutes.
The desserts were not very good.... we ordered 3 different ones and found only one that was ok.
This restaurant might be ok for a group of male carnivores but definitely overpriced if you aren’t going to gorge yourself on meat.
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful but 3 out of 4 of us (2 couples) wouldn’t go back.
We always have a great experience when we dine here. The staff is wonderful, food is great and it's a fub, lively atmosphere.
I'm never disappointed at Pampas. Great food, wine and service.
The food was fantastic. The waiter was excellent as all of the servers were. The salad bar was great, there were no issues with our visit. There were 4 of us, my wife and 2 sons. We were celebrating my son's last exam at university as he obtains his degree.
It was a party of 7 of which 3 were celebrating birthdays and the location was ideal since some travelled from the north end and some from the south side for a Sunday brunch. Upon checking earlier, we were told that all the salads were gluten free along with all the meats except for the sausage. This was important for one of our members. The reservation was made simple through the Open Table link and we received the email confirmation, so all was good. The food , the seating by the hostess, the servers and the check out all met our expectations. This is my 5th time there and will certainly be back again. Despite it being a Sunday parking around there was still not easy to find.
Unfortunately the food wasn't as great as I remembered although it was still good. I will never book through this website again. I booked for pampas southside and it automatically booked me for the old downtown location. Quite a bit out of my way considering I live right next door to the new location
Impeccable service, great atmosphere, space, we celebrate 40 years of my husband,
it was a beautiful evening.
The waitress was nice and very professional.
+ The restaurant:
* Impeccable food
* Buffet well diversified.
* Excellent service.
- The restaurant
* 2:00 service this is not enough, (2:30 would be better)
* I did not appreciate that it was the manager who comes to take the bill payments, it was inappropriate not to have had time to thank the waitress. I found that I missed class especially that the bill was up $ 170 for two.
I was in a restaurant similar to yours and offered pineapple with cinnamon for the same price it would be nice to add it to your menu.
If you want to save some money, there are gift certificates at Costco.
It's worth it. You save $ 20 on $ 100.
Overall it was a nice evening.
It was our second visit. Allan’s service was impeccable. The food was delicious! We can’t wait for our next visit. :)
The restaurant is well organized and efficient.Greeted by friendly people who made service a priority. Excellent food with good service and attentive serving personnel
Was an amazing experience and amazing food. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone
I like Pampas but I find it to be so expensive for just a lunch.
Great tasting, fresh food. Great service. Fun atmosphere. Wild offerings in the meats and the salad bar. Will certainly go back.
We enjoyed the food here, the servers were very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. It was quiet enough to enjoy both meal and conversation.
Overall experience was wonderful. The Atmosphere and the food was delicious. We only had one issue with our server. She would say she was bringing water/dessert menu/ a new drink; and disappear for 25-40 minutes and returning without anything. The restaurant wasn’t overwhelmingly busy. Our party just felt neglected, especially with two guests who have never experienced Pampas before. Any other time the service is above and beyond.
Everything was excellent. Compared to other restaurants we love it here. Woo be back again soon Brittany our server is the best.
I was our anniversary. I noted it but the didn’t mention it. But they did mention the birthday of the table next to us. The salad bar was great and it seemed like the service was faster this time around. Over all great experience.
None of the meat was well done or medium well. They were more like rare or between medium rare. It was disgusting. I asked them to bring me well done 3 times but kept bringing me rare the whole time. Ugh not worth 50$ gross
The wine list was for the most part sold out and it was rather off putting to see dozens of lines with the prices blocked out because they were no longer in stock
at a certain point, reprint the pages. I also tried to use a loyalty gift card that I checked to have value online before even arriving at the restaurant. The value showed up on the servers machine even. Had the manager and server deny the credit to my bill. I also tried contacting Pampa through their website, the online form kept giving errors. A very unsatisfied experience and next time, I am arranging a night out with friends, we will go somewhere who's service and quality reflects the price a little more closely.
Not worth the money
Excellent experience! Great conversations with our waiter, the sommelier, as well as one of the owners, who all shared information about their menu and their unique cultural dining establishment, as well as future plans. Very tasty meal! Thank-you!
great food, staff were awesome. will recommend pampa to
This restaurant never disappoints. The service is great, very friendly and attentive. Great starter bar, nice selection of veggies, salads, breads, soup as well. Be careful not to load up on the starters, especially the cheese buns which are amazing but really filling because the meat is what this place is all about. Great variety and plentiful all you can eat supply of hot off the flames brought right to the table, wow!
Pampas serves premium cuts for all their meat. The service was very good, especially for an all you can eat restaurant. My cup was never completely empty, and my plate always had meat on it. 10 out of 10 for Pampas.
Amazing as always!
Our third visit to Pampas, staff is friendly!
