Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse Edmonton Downtown Ratings and Reviews
The food is delicious and there are so many great meat selections. On the night we went, there were fourteen different meats. Every meat was hot, fresh, tender and juicy. Even The meats that I'm not usually particularly fond of were prepared to perfection.
The cold bar/ salad bar had lots of new and creative selections that you don't see everyday. Unfortunately, there were too many to try in one visit. I do, however, look forward to going back to trying more. There hot dishes aswell, I didn't have a chance to try any because I was so full already but, like the rest of the cold dishes, I hope to go back again soon to try them.
The service was exceptional. We never had to wait very long for drink refills or for our server to see how we were doing. When our cards were red, we weren't bothered, and when the cards were green, the meat showed up promptly and often.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the whole experience both times that I've gone. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking to try something new or just looking for a nice place for a date or special occasion.
Well, the service was great. That's the only good thing I can say bout my experience. The food was completely stale, with zero flavour. The bread could have made breadcrumbs, and the food tasted...well, it would have had more flavour if my tastebuds were burnt off. Hubby really like the bacon wrapped chicken though, so...I guess that's something?
Expected more for the extremely high price. Won t be going here again.
Enjoyed the salad bar- note your cuts of beef are not the higher priced cuts i.e bottom sirloin;rump roast;but they are prepared to help ensure tenderness. Found the boneless lamb leg -fatty-I would like to see a seafood item added to your servings i.e. salmon"? even with the unlimited carved meat items - $49.95 is pretty pricey . your staff were very hospitable .
Server dropped off water and never came back until the manager came and pick up the stacked plates on the table.
Asked for wings and they don’t sell them anymore, but they did grant our request of hearts.
Will be back again if Karen the server is working.
Manager is super friendly trying to turn it around.
I brought my aunt here for her birthday. We've been here before for the dinner buffet, but never for the Sunday Brunch. The food was great, but special props for the Beef Rumpsteak, Dulce de Leche French Toast and Brazilian Crêpes! We've always wondered when they served the grilled and spiced pineapple, having had it over a year ago when we celebrated another birthday around the same time -- it seemed like it was a Valentine's Week special? We asked the floor manager about it and we were fortunate enough to get a special dessert made. It was perfect! Tart pineapple with the sweetness of vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche and chocolate sauces, not too heavy after all the meat we ate but still very satisfying. Here's hoping it becomes a regular (or even semi-regular) dessert! We'd definitely be back more often just to have it.
We have lived in Edmonton for only a couple years now and have tried a few different restaurants with the Keg being our number one “go-to” option but after coming here a few times now it has become our new favorite restaurant. Love the food options. Love the service. We are always 100% satisfied every time! Can’t wait to eat here again!
Food was good and servers were friendly and attentive. We went as a special dinner for my husbands birthday on Friday feb 2. Very disapppointed and not sure we would return. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for a nice atmosphere. A lot of small children in the restaurant running around, screaming and acting generally loud and unsafe with waiters walking around wielding large knives and skewers of meat. It was sooo loud our table actually stopped talking as we couldn’t even hear each other. Not one waiter or manager asked any of the family’s to at least have their children remain seated. I watched one boy at the table beside us almost have his hand cut twice!! And no staff did anything to address it. I have two children and everyone at our table has children . We understand how it can be but at the price we pay to enjoy a meal and bottle of wine and overall except to have a 5 star experience when paying 5 star prices. Our bill was almost $400 and I felt like I just wanted to pay and get our as fast as we could. Not an enjoyable night and very poor reflection of the restaurant management. I am sure if a health inspector had been present they would have been appalled at the way the children were permitted to “run free” with staff walking all around with massive knives and hot food.
Great food but pricy. Grilled pineapple was not available and has been at every other Brazilian bbq restaurant. Big disappointment for a few. Waitress was a little arrogant when we asked if it was possible. That little accommodation would have made the difference between a great meal and being disappointed.
We had a party of 4, including two customers. We were seated promptly as per our reservation time. The service was excellent as was the food. The 'cold' salad bar had a lot of unique and original items...all very fresh and of highest quality. The 'hot bar' looked good as well...just too much food. The waiters presenting the various proteins on skewers were very attentive and the food always fresh. The lamb, bacon wrapped ribeye, sirloin, and chicken legs, were the table favorites. It was a very good experience and our clients were very happy.
The quality of the meat has gone down hill from the previous times that we have eaten here. I had a cut of meat that was so tuff that I couldn't even cut it with a knife. In the past when they cut off a piece of meat to serve you, they always tried to give you a piece that had just been grilled, this time they were constantly offering pieces that were from the inside of the cut with no browning. Was offered a piece of rib eye steak that was well done. It was so dry that I couldn't finish the piece.
