Had a great server who was attentive and responsive. The food was good and flavorful, not exceptional. Overall a good experience.
Fab as always!
My party was very late for our reservation due to a meeting that lasted much longer than anticipated and there was no way to contact the restaurant. When we showed up they went out of there way to accommodate us. Great service and excellent food. cheers to the staff.
Lovely service, pleasant seating and atmosphere, unhurried. I dine at Palomino fairly often with friends; a major reason is that there are two dishes that can be made vegan: quinoa bowl and a kale salad. On Saturday I chose the kale salad. What was supposed to be a charred kale turned out to be a completely raw kale that was virtually impossible to eat. I gave up about a third of the way through. I was more focused on my conversation than on the food or I would have noticed earlier that the dish was unacceptable. I like coming to Palomino, so I sincerely hope for better execution and more choices ahead!
Service was good, however we were only three people and the person who brought the plates (not the waiter) had no idea who they belonged to. We all had the soup and sandwich lunch special. Soup wasn't as described and the panini sandwich was sub-par.
Our food was excellent and our waiter outstanding. He knew we were going to the theatre, so he made sure our food came on time. It was a double birthday celebration, so we got free desserts -- double yum!
Confusing to find the entry point. Food was delicious though.
We have dined at Palomino four times now, and have gotten a good sampling of their wait staff. Every single one of them has been outstanding in their ability to help you choose your food, being just attentive enough and not pushy (a difficult medium to attain) and being good-humored and knowledgable. I do not know anything about their training program but it must be excellent. We especially appreciate going here pre-theater, because the staff know how to handle the situation and can do so with grace and style.
bread was borderline stale. pizza was like cardboard. brussel sprouts were under cooked. very mediocre food. for the same price you can get fantastic food in seattle in a ton of other places, don't go here
Their chop chop salad is now $17. For that price it should taste fresh and not look like it's from either the day before or early in the morning. They only use enough meat so you can see it but not enough to enjoy. Been there many times over the years and it just seems to be getting worse. For our group we'vw decided we won't be returning for other events. It's very disappointing.
All the food was delicious, and our server was excellent
Birthday dinner with my daughter
Quite nice place, good ambience and above all, very good food.
Pretty embarrassing to have service ask if we were twins, and then ask again if we were sisters after a very firm and laughing no. We were on a date. One appetizer was very good, and I would come back for that crunchy caprese alone, but the meatballs were soggy and our entrees were just okay.
Lunch was very good and services was excellent. I will dine here again.
Food was excellent- service was efficient-
They did a nice job of getting us seated in a timely manner and facilitating timing to attend Hamilton at the Paramount, a few block walk away. Broad enough menu to meet a variety of tastes.
Food was disappointing (pizza in particular had awful canned sauce) and the waiter was very inattentive. I think he even forgot to give us bread (all the other tables had it).
Paul was our server and he was so kind. He’s a very funny, genuine man. The food was amazing! I definitely recommend and will definitely go back!
Interesting location, very open concept. Food was decent: I had Steak Frites (delicious), my friend had the Mahi Mahi. The fish initially was extremely dry and overcooked, but they took the dish back no questions asked and brought back a second piece. Apparently it was delicious. Good cocktails, but ambience is somewhat lacking.
Waiter knew that we were on a tight schedule and made sure we received his attention, our meals, and our bill in time for us to get to our event. Fantastic service - and food.
Great place, food, service was excellent. We had a balcony seat overlooking the globe entrance to the building. Particularly liked the fired mozzarella with a tomato chutney on top. Had the tomahawk pork chop, tasted great but should have asked for a sharper steak knife. Gift cards at Costco.
The food was very good. I tried the roasted salmon and it was delicious. The server was friendly and was there to get us started and then to take our order.
Amazing wait staff. My friends raved about their food and the drinks were yummy. Just need to get more quality restaurants to offer more healthy options. Its easy to do and then market the heck out of it. We will come. Thank you for a nice experience.
We had a lively table of 8. We all enjoyed our food very much. Service was great. Definitely will return. Good value.
We continue to enjoy Palomino. Great Experience and good foold.
They offered a 10% discount for 5th Avenue show-goers.
Enjoy the well labeled GF options on this menu. However, the steak and Frits were not my favorite option and will not be ordered again with a return. I certainly enjoyed the chicken with cauliflower/potato mash with my last visit and my dining guests appreciated it with this one.
Palomino is one of my go to spots in Seattle. Lively atmosphere good food but I was a little disappointed with this visit, salmon was over cooked which in Seattle is a pretty egregious sin.
On the other hand the service was outstanding!
We were seated early for our reservation but had to wait over 10-15 minutes for our drink order to be delivered. Glass of wine and a martini.
Food was wonderful but service was lacking.
Delicious food, great service, prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very loud.
14 year old hated palomino burger. Disgusting potato cake
Terrific food and incredible service. Perfect spot to go before a show at the 5th Ave Theater!
Fantastic food and service! The half price bottles of wine on Wednesday was a very pleasant surprise! Will definitely make a return trip.
Very nice visually and the food was great. However, even though I told the server (and he told the chef) that I cannot eat gluten or dairy, the dish came out with cheese on top. Staff then removed that dish and I instead ordered a salad which was very delish! Server was great - attentive but not overly soon.
Palomino does a decent lunch over at the express side, but the sit down side is okay at best. The kids menu salmon could be a great value if it was cooked all the way - come on it is for kids! I’m pretty sure the spaghetti sauce was from a can! My girls wouldn’t touch it after taking a few bites. Good thing the bread was free refills. My steelhead was okay but drenched in so weird sauce. Overall go elsewhere. My girls wanted spaghetti but unfortunately they got chef boy r dee!
The location is perfect which is why this place is always full with plenty of customers. We came before a show and liked how close it was to the theatre. Our waiter was great and took our order pretty quickly. They then had other servers bring the meal which allows the food to get served quickly and not dependent on the waiter who is busy tending to other customers. The actual food was just fair (beet salad had minimal beets, dressing, pistachios but tons of greens that were way to big for single mouthful. The stuffed sole was just okay, not much flavor and the texture was somewhat dry and mushy all at the same time). Overall good location with good service. If they could get the food right it would be worth coming to when not going to a show.
My Mom was celebrating her 80th birthday--they treated her like a queen!! Great service, Great Food, Great fun!!
Excellent server. Great prices and food. Manager stops by tables. Perfect before eve and afternoon theatre. Great HH and parking is validated free.
The server was great. The ambiance is nice. Not our first time here but had been a while. Our appetizers, the meatballs were still fridge cold. They were nice and took them back and gave us fresh ones. They were also nice to take them off the bill. The 2nd batch was also cold. Didn’t complain, we just sucked it up and ate them.
One friend never received his Caesar and was still on the bill. Two of us ordered the special which was the pork chop. No taste, dry and chewy. He left most of his. We didn’t complain as we had a show to catch.
Overall it was a bad dining experience. After spending over $309 with our group, we won’t be going back. NOT WORTH IT!
