Service was a little slow but it seemed there was only one waitress for a few tables. On a positive note there seemed to be several managers and team members helping her with food delivery, water refills etc so our food was hot and we did not need for much. We also were a relaxed group so I imagine that didn’t read as though we were trying to be mindful of the lunch hour.
We have dined at Palamino's many times. This is the first time we have been disappointed in the meal. Service was great and attentive.
We had a great meal at Palomino. They had great daily and weekly meal specials/featured dishes. My favorite part of my meal was the prawns. They are incredibly delicious. My only complaint was that my steak was slightly over cooked, and was a bit charred on the outside. Other than that, it was delicious.
Amazing food, Outstanding service! Will definitely go back.
Went for my husband's birthday and we had a very nice and relaxed meal. Food was great, service couldn't have been better!
The food and service was outstanding!!
Didn’t realize it was a limited Valentine’s Day menu with a fixed price but the Steak, Lobster, and Shrimp combo was very very good. Their bruschetta is fire.
The croutons on the caesar salad were as hard as rocks & I could not eat them. The dessert that consisted basically of deep fried doughnut holes was mediocre. The steak was flavorless but tender, however the the lobster tail, prawns, & vegetables were outstanding. This Valentine menu was not up to the standard of the Thanksgiving menu.
First Valentines Together so we chose a Palomino’s a a nice quiet “romantic” place for a first of many.
Reservation was on time, food was as expected and service was good
We always come back for more. Some other places, you'll occasionally get bad service or so-so food, but this place is always good, with attentive and reliable servers. We will keep coming back.
We did the lunch combo! What a bang for your buck! The food was incredible and great portion sizes. It was quick for lunch. The service was a little lackluster but I think it was just because we were the first table of the morning.
Appetizer/crackers burnt, steak full of gristle. Brought out new crackers for dip when we complained- they were oily. Comp'd steak and dessert for all of us to make up lacking food. Server was attentive and did her best.
Tyler, our server, was outstanding and the food was delicious. The Devour Indy menu was really nice.
My husband had a great birthday celebration at Palomino!
Treating my dad to lunch after he spent the night at my mom's beside as she is recovering from meningitis. Sarah B. Was our server and a pleasure
Service was exceptional!!!
Palomino has been one of my favorite restaurants for year. Sadly, with our most recent visit on 1/28/18, I can truly say, it ain't what it used to be.
We were seated in a cozy booth near the back of the restaurant. To our right was a wooden shelf that ran the length of the wall. This shelf was so dusty that we were able to, as others had, write a message to one that might care, to "Please dust me!"
Our server did not speak English very well. He would ask if we were ok, and then walk away before we could respond. He had two tables with six people each, so, once those tables took off, we really didn't see him again, except to get the bill. We were lacking for refills of tea and lemonade.
My spouse got the braised short-rib and the accompanying asparagus was absolutely blackened. Please note that the MANGER brought the meal out that way and did not say two words about it. I got the Ragu Carne and there was a pitiful amount of beef and the noodles were overcooked and glued together.
Our server did not return until he came with the check and asked if everything was ok. We told him about the asparagus, but did not offer a replacement, or to reduce the bill for the inedible food.
Palomino isn't an inexpensive place to eat, and there is nothing worse than paying a lot for a terrible meal. We probably won't be back any time soon, unless I hear that things have taken a turn for the better.
After debating on whether to say something to the manager, we decided against it, since she had brought out the food as it was, so if she wasn't taking notice, then it was unlikely anything further would happen.
In addition, it was a very slow evening, so there was plenty of time that the manager could have walked around and checked on tables.
Table of 3 took 2.75 hours to finish our meal
Service was quite slow
Told the gelato we ordered was peppermint but said sorry here is chocolate as well
Ok night just nothing special
Our service was great despite a busy convention weekend. We enjoyed our food and wine. Stuffed sole and steak was delicious and the crisp appiteizer was great.
Our food was amazing! We both ate from the Devour Indy menu. The prime rib was incredible, the spinach salad was very tasty, and the tiramisu dessert was wonderful! Service was also very good!
Waiter was wonderful. Helpful with suggestions and service. The Devour Lunch menu was a great value for the money. We all enjoyed our choices.
Fun time; good food and atmosphere.
We had a very enjoyable evening. All of the staff was very nice and the food was very good.
Had a wonderful evening. Great service, excellent food, enjoyable ambiance.
I would rather be there when you play jazz. I wish I could figure out when that happens.
I thought I had chosen a birthday occasion but that was not recognized.
I have been a long-time fan of palomino used to go pretty much on a weekly basis when I lived downtown. I was so excited to get a chance to be there again. Our server was nice enough I think it was her first day or she was really knew I also think she might have had a hearing problem. Many things are brought out incorrectly. Also our food just wasn't that good. It started with the salads we told him that they were way overdressed I couldn't even eat mine. And it went kind of downhill from there. Made me sad. I hope they get it back together.
Our waitress was wonderful! We shared a few items, she was great at splitting them up for us. Greatly appreciated!
