OpenTable Diner (New York Area)
1.0  Dined on December 30, 2016

The establishment is closed! I should have done more research on it before reserving through OpenTable but it linked directly from their website. It made it for a funny start to my wedding anniversary dinner, though.

Very cool place to have a nice dinner. The meal was delishious, the wait staff was helpful and nice, I especially liked that they keep it authentic and have Spanish speaking waiters and waitresses. The only thing that was annoying is very loud crowd. I wish the management did something about it. One of the customers, 2 tables from us, was shouting on the top of his lungs. He almost spoiled the entire experience for us....

I've been here several times and the service is great. Some dishes better than others. Scallops-fantastic. Brunch omelette-meh. Sangria - delicious. The music tends to be a bit loud, hard to converse at time, but overall, a nice place, especially in warm weather. Outside seating is great.

I was here when it first opened and the food was good. I guess they have a new fall menu and everything we had was great. Started out with the ribs and they were good. The best was the main course, as the paella was to die for; not many places around here when you can find paella, and I'll be back for it. We also had the lamb shank tacos, something different and very good. The place itself is cool, modern with all glass and some wood tones. We'll be back to try some more of the food that they gets cooked on the wood burning grill.

As we have had on multiple occasions, we had a wonderful dinner. The food and drinks were amazing and the service was excellent. Even though it is on the water, it is a great place to eat and drink all year round. The views are amazing and can't be beat. Whether we are on the patio, in the dining room or hosting a private event, we are always impressed. I would strongly recommend dining at Paloma and will continue going back for more memorable dining experiences.

There were not a lot of people eating in the restaurant, yet it took a very long time to get our drinks and food. that said -- the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
