Super nice setting. Tasty lamb and pasta!
Fabulous. Appreciate the gluten free options too.
Loved this restaurant! Went with a friend while visiting NYC, we typically try to pick one "special" place each year and this was it. From the moment you walk in, you have a great feeling about the cozy and charming place. We started with excellent cocktails made in accordance to our request. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the halibut and a beet salad and both were so good, we bought a gift certificate for a friend because we thought he'd like it so much. Dessert was a flourless chocolate cake - many times they are rich and cloying, this was certainly rich but subdued and I loved the texture (I have made many flourless chocolate cakes in my day so I know!) The only downside was that both parties around us were served before us. We weren't in a hurry and the service was very good, our waiter was very attentive and did keep us informed that the food was coming. I don't know if they were backed up in the kitchen or what the issue was. But I would go back here in a heartbeat and would recommend it highly!
Really expensive for what I had
Went for brunch and had the crocquettes and foccaccia prosciutto, along with a couple bellinis. Great quality food for a casual meal, service that is attentive without being overbearing, and cozy ambience. Didn't get a chance to check out the garden in the back but will definitely come back to see that and try their pasta, which others ordered and looked delicious!
We had an amazing anniversary dinner here, and it was even better than expected... prettier, delicious...er, just wonderful. The presentation of the zuppe de pesce was incredible - looked like a giant chicken pot pie, which turned out to be a paper thin bread over the seafood dish that tasted great along with the seafood.
Worth the prices to feel like you're in Italy to the point that NYC is a shock when you finally leave.
Only reason it's not all 5 stars (even though I was tempted to give all 5 stars) was bc I asked twice to ensure our waiter would speak Italian, which my wife enjoys doing. Asked online and again 2x when we arrived, to help make it a perfect experience. Our waiter then came over and spoke English, which kind of took away from how perfect every moment was. When I went to ask the hostess, she said it was bc we chose a table in an area where the waiter didn't speak Italian.
It's surely a first world problem, but it was a disappointment to point out that there was no way I could have known that, and nobody mentioned it, and now it's going to be odd to have a different waiter come over and start speaking Italian. Calling attention to the whole thing, which should've just been a bonus.
And with that, the waitress who took over was delightful and we'd ask for her again the next time we're back.
With a glass of wine each, one appetizer and two entrees it was about $150 with tip, which seemed very reasonable for such a special experience right in the middle of NYC.
It's making me look forward to traveling to Italy for a tour of outstanding restaurants.
Thank you, Palma, despite my one gripe, we really had a terrific time and look fwd to returning.

Such a beautiful restaurant! The food was great! And the service outstanding. A must go! Will return again
Charming rustic atmosphere under skylight. The food, especially the pastas are terrific. Branzino and veal chop were also great. Service was very good.
Only complaints are: it’s kind of expensive, and the chairs are uncomfortable.
Beautiful back enclosed garden.
Food is fantastic and the service makes you feel like you’re in Italy (a bit slower than NYC speed but charming too)
Fantastic place
Great tasting food. All came out of the kitchen steaming hot. Service left much to be desired. Noticed the frustration level at numerous tables during the evening.
Fabulous food. Fun neighborhood feel. Attentive service but allowed us to linger.
I can’t believe how delicious everything was! Real homemade pasta (even the GF options) in such a gorgeous place. Will definitely return.
Special place! Great food and service. The fresh floral arrangements added to the lovely ambiance. Hidden gem for sure!
Overall excellent. Food was good enough, especially fettucini funghi. The other food, lobster soup and risotto balls were just fine. The best thing about the restaurant was a mood and interior. Garden-like interior was very eye-pleasing.
Amazing dinner and service! The food was terrific and the ambiance was perfect. Cocktails were some of my favs. Thanks for making the night so special and delicious
amazing decor ,layout, service food
Easter brunch-everything was fabulous!
The restaurant was packed and we ended up with a table in the bar area but would have preferred the dining room with all the spring blooms! The noise level was high. We were served appetizers shortly after they took our order. However, we had to wait nearly an hour for our main course.
Always love a great dining experience at Palma. Beautiful Easter brunch, great food and ambiance, service was excellent. A West Village/NYC favorite delivers as always.
Amazing! The calamari and eggplant apps were incredible! Bronzini, steak and homemade pasta for dinner were delicious! Finished with baked Alaska! Great service and ambiance! Will be back soon!
The experience is Amazing. Will definitely come back. The Lamb Chops is Wonderfully Cooked.
Everything was great! A little expensive but otherwise a great time!
Our lasagna had a boiled egg. Speaks for itself.
Rest of the plates were average at best.
Palma has an amazing atmosphere, great authentic food and good wine selection.
Excellent time down in Greenwich Village for dinner recently. We were visiting so were not sure where we wanted to go, but had Italian in mind. Researched Italian spots near Bleeker Street and Palma displayed. Reviewed a few notes, etc., and decided to book a reservation... and glad we did.
Enjoyed our dinner and our cocktail/wine selections hit the spot... as did the food and dessert!
Charming atmosphere and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would certainly return the next time we are in NYC.
Palma is wonderful. Highly recommend the food and ambiance.
We sat in the beautiful courtyard outside. The food was fresh and fabulous. We had an early dinner before a 7:00 show and the timing was perfect.
Palma is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The dining room is overflowing with fresh flowers and the food is terrific. Order their la vie en rose cocktail.
It’s amazing experience at Palma’s w my family, the service it’s great. Try the tiramisu and Papardelle w lamb!!
This is a good restaurant the food is good as well as the service. Parking is very easy in this area the restaurant has a great vibe.
Palma never disappoints. My favorite village restaurant. Food is consistently good. Servers are pleasant and professional allowing enough time between courses to enjoy dining without feeling rushed. Can get a little loud on Saturday night but everything else makes it well worth it. Should also mention that I had a Birthday dinner party there a few years ago in the private room upstairs and it was wonderful. Service, food, & atmosphere was perfect!
This is one of our favorite restaurants in West Village. They have a fantastic menu and superb service! They never seam to disappoint. My favorite is the Agnolotti with spinach and ricotta in tomato sauce. Truly a delight!
The food we had was not outstanding and arrived not warm enough. On the other hand, i would return just to have their cannoli. Best I have ever had
Fabulous night fabulous food!
The most beautiful place in NYC!
Claudia and Tadas were warm and welcoming, and knowledgeable about wine and the menu. New favorite place! The food was exquisite and the wine list is excellent.
Palma is the most special place that I ever seen. Atmosphere is really like an italian family home. I am italian and I am travelling a lot all over the world and Palma offers really delicious food and unforgettable service. Thanks Palma you are the best!!!
