Amazing food and drinks! Great service. However the tables are very small and very close to each other which makes it very hard to hear each other.
Great Thanksgiving dinner. The food and staff were excellent!
Absolutely amazing food, service & atmosphere. I made reservations for my next visit before I left.
Host seated us at a table that had water dripping on my husband throughout the meal and I was freezing due to the breeze blowing in. Yes- we were seated inside! The eggplant appetizer was delicious. My husband enjoyed the mushroom pasta dish but my lobster pasta dish lacked salt. No salt to be found. Staff unconcerned about water dripping or cool breeze so we left before dessert. We were really looking forward to our dinner but left unimpressed.
One of my favorite restaurants in New York! Feels like you’re transported to Italy in a charming restaurant with phenomenal food.
This was hands down one of the best (Italian) meals I've ever had. Ambiance was perfect, staff was outstanding, and food was incedible.
Second to Palma as we are from Wisconsin. Love the whole experience!
Great place for a bridal party gathering!!! I asked my friends if they can be my bridesmaids and they said “ I DO” lol it was romantic cozy and the food was delish!
The back garden is such a special, romantic place & the food is always sublime. We ordered the duck tortellini special & I will dream about it for years to come. The lobster spaghetti is a must-order, but you really can’t go wrong with anything!
The food was delicious, service was wonderful, and the ambiance was stunning. We can’t wait to go back!!!
We were able to sit in the garden. Beautiful and romantic.
Everything was good. Food was delicious and service was good.
It was my first time back to Palma since before the pandemic and I was so glad to be back. The food and atmosphere were amazing as always but what made our night extra special was the attentive and friendly service from Rafael (and Lipu)!! Looking forward to going back soon.
Beautiful ambience, lovely people and the best food.
Made a reservation, a must for this restaurant. Sat outside- not too big of a deal. The tables outside had to share a floor heater:
The waitstaff took an hour to take our food orders due to mis-communication between them on who was our actual waiter. Waters were never re-filled, one of our entrees forgot to be put in. We asked for the check to leave.
The waiter had excuses from A-Z. Brought us two shots of Lemoncello, I’m pregnant and my husband doesn’t drink, hence why neither of us ordered cocktails or wine.
Wish the staff had been better prepared and the restaurant given more attention to their outside diners.
Will not be returning
Food, service, ambience all some of the best in the city. 10/10
My new favorite nyc restaurant
Amazing food and service as always, this is my favorite restaurant in Manhattan!
Nice wine list, great service in a charming venue. Pasta vognole was fantastic.
Palma was recommended to us by a stranger, an Italian woman with a big Italian family who all love to cook. She said it's her favorited Italian restaurant in NYC so we thought it must be amazing. She was right. The food was unforgettable. Outstanding, delicious, everything cooked perfectly. Waitperson was right on point and excellent. Romantic atmosphere with candles and flowers. Right up there for our top three favorite dinners out ever and we're not easy to please!
My favorite restaurant in Manhattan !
Honestly shocked because this is my third time coming to Palma.
I’ve been twice with my family and both times were great and the service was great. This led me to book last nights at Palma for my 2 year anniversary with my significant other. We had a table booked for inside (preferably the patio). When we get there the hostess “Kate” tried to lead us to an outside table. I told her I had put a reservation for a table inside and preferably in the patio as it was a special occasion. Now I understand that there is no guarantee for me to sit in the patio but to put my outside in the street next to trash bags was ridiculous. I tried to get Kate to see if there was anything to fix the situation. She said that we wouldn’t be able to get any other table.. l then proceeded to watch her put two other couples that arrived after us inside. I’m frankly shocked at how poorly I was treated and that I was embarrassed like this.
Honestly I am at a loss for words. I have now told my sister (originally recommended this place) that I will not be dining here again.
We had a romantic corner of the restaurant and the food was excellent (large portions so consider that when ordering). We had the carciofi and the meatballs as appetizers (more meatballs than I anticipated) and both were very good. Ev had the ravioli and I had the zuppa Di pesce. Both were excellent. The wines by the glass were good and a good pour. Our waiter had us and a wedding but did a great job. Do not pass on the bread it’s worth the carbs and the calories. Unbelievable! Especially in the broth! Highly recommend.
Palma was absolutely extraordinary in every way. I’ve been wanting to come here for a while, and finally was able to when my dad was in town for a visit. We ordered the fungi pasta, the bolognese, and the roasted vegetables. Every single thing was to die for … especially the veggies. The ambiance was lovely, and the actual restaurant and building itself felt like a little Italian dream. Highly recommend for a special occasion, parents in town, date night, or even just a little treat yourself ! my new favorite nyc spot
Always a great atmosphere, The best tagliatelle ai funghi. Friendly and . The scent of the candles is also great
It was my birthday dinner :) The waiter was wonderful and put a candle in our dessert. A sweet touch. Good was delicious!!
Amazing ! Best Italian food in NYC! Sending ❤️to Gemma for her fabulous hospitality!
Wonderful waiters - most of our party was Italian and the experience was truly Italian
I had a reservation a month ago, they called to tell me there was a wedding and the garden would be closed and I could reschedule. I show up the evening of my new res and there was again another wedding. The patio was closed which was the reason I went in the first place. They were unapologetic and the table they placed us at was not great. The food is meh and over priced. The reason to go is the garden for sure, otherwise it is sub or with bad service.
Great night at Palma’s. Patio was a nice option, food and service were excellent. The Italian sever was great and helpful with recommendations and specials. Food was delicious. We had a great time.
Came from out of town and this was my favorite meal by far. Such a lovely ambience and experience. Look forward to visiting again in the future!
The service was slow and unresponsive. They’ve”resented” bringing cheese for the pasta. The food was adequate, nothing special.
The food is absolutely incredible and the courtyard is stunning! I am dreaming about the truffle fettuccine (which is gluten free and you would NEVER know) and the heirloom tomato special. I can’t wait to go back!!! AMAZING!
The beet salad and trout were delicious! The cacio e Pepe could have been softer/ cooked longer. Overall loved the ambiance!
Loved this place! Charming and so good!!!
Great food. Looking forward to next visit!
This place transports you to Europe. So romantic and great food!
Just perfect. Staff was warm and welcoming, food was excellent although we just had drinks and appetizers. We sat in the garden out back and it was so quaint and beautiful. We will definitely be back for a full dinner.
