We enjoyed our dinner. The food was good; the service was good. We were able to sit and talk and enjoy the evening. The birthday treat was great.
Nice place to eat. Not noisy. Food good and service was good
We chose this restaurant because it is close to the Brightline train station. We were delighted that the food was so good! Excellent and fast service, so we made it to the train on time!
Good dinner. I was surprised there were very few dessert offerings, though, considering their name and how the restaurant was described to me.
No lava in the lava cake. Sushi was good.
First visit, won't be the last... Enjoyed our server, made an error and corrected it for the best..
Had my stand by Pad Thai and glad I had ordered it . All 4 of us were happy campers.
Buz West. Palm
Palm sugar is an Asian restaurant with authentic Thai, Korean, Japanese, and Viet Namese foods. I have not had Asian food this good since I left California. Their Thai roasted chicken and pineapple fried rice are favorites of ours.
pad thai had no depth of flavors, not good at all
duck curry. they only do their version of a panang curry
no red or green at all.
must say .... the duck meat was cut nice and thick
the most TENDER duck in town. we get duck out, often.
i will be thinking about that duck. go for it
Food is always great at this neighborhood Clematis Street Asian restaurant.
Our server was great but the system went down and we waited 45 min before finally insisting they tally up our bill by hand and paying by cash. Overall food was yummy. Bok choy amazing. Fish tacos so-so.
The food was good but not great. The service was weak . The server wanted to be anywhere but work .
Not much to the place but the food was outstanding.
Everything was too sweet & sugary; only thing worth going back for - duck ramen
FLASH FRIED BOK CHOY WAS AMAZING, AS WERE THE SOUPS AND SAUTED SHRIMP DISHES.
THE STEAMED SHRIMP DUMPLINGS WERE DULL BASICALLY THEY ARE THE SAME AS THE ONES YOU BUY AT WHOLE FOODS OR ANY SUSHI TAKE OUT PLACE TO MICROWAVE AT HOME! THE SHRIMP LETTUCE WRAPS RATHER DREARY. THEY ARE BLAND DESPITE THE THREE NICE LITTLE SAUCE DISHES -MAINLY BECAUSE THE SHRIMP WERE JUST SPLIT IN HALF PRECOOKED SHRIMP NO FLAVOR, NOT GRILLED, BUT IN ALL FAIRNESS THEY WERE ON THE HAPPY HOUR MENU AND VERY INEXPENSIVE.
THE CURRY CHICKEN WAS DELICIOUS AND SO WAS THE STICKY RICE SERVED IN IT'S OWN LITTLE WICKER BASKET. PLENTY OF GOOD DISHES TRICK IS TO GO FOR THE SPICIER ONES WHICH ARE NOT SPICY JUST MORE FLAVORFUL!
(APOLOGIES FOR ALL CAPS. KEYBOARD JAMMED(
Sang, the server was great! The food was good. I had a great time...
This restaurant seems to struggle with large parties, the sushi bar in particular. The food came out at different times and initially people waited for the people that ordered sushi to be served. The staff assured us the sushi was almost done multiple times. After waiting 10 min, most people elected to eat their now cold meals, while two friends continued to wait on the sushi. After waiting another 20 minutes, we decided to cancel the sushi order. We told the staff multiple times to cancel the order while they insisted the platter was on its way out. Eventually, 10 min later, they decided to serve the platter complimentary....and the sushi wasn't even good! The rest of the food tasted okay, but was cold, unfortunately. Im still not sure why our food took so long, because the restaurant was empty!
Excellent and interesting food of all Asian types
We tried Palm Sugar for the first time and wanted a place outside the typical cityplace scene. We enjoyed the variety on the happy hour menu which gave us the chance to try a variety of items. Their Crispy Bok Choy was fabulous. Pad Thai was excellent too. We will be back and gave them a rave review on tripadvisor as well.
I ordered the mangolion beef. I had to chew my food for ten minutes before I could swallow. My friend got the curry chicken. I was good.
We ended up here because there was a problem with our original reservation at another restaurant. Given that we were a party of 6 on a Saturday night we were fortunate that Palm Sugar could accommodate us. Pleasantly surprised by the very good quality of Thai food and prompt service. Each of us ordered a different item and everyone was very pleased by their choice.
Not worth patronizing. Very simple interior, rolls mediocre, and almost no patrons during happy hour. Much more lively spots with similar menus further down the next couple of blocks toward the park.
The food is good - not bad and not excellent. A lot of small plates on the menu and the prices are very good. We did have excellent service sitting outside.
We ordered hot tea, after 10 minutes, no tea. Then a teapot arrived with luke warm tea - not a great start. Another 10 minutes - then hot tea! The food arrived at different times for each of us, it seemed like it was their 1st night open - very amateur. When we finally got the food, we were happy with our dishes. I wouldn't go back, nor recommend this restaurant.
The experience was good. The food selections varied to all types of style and taste. The service was friendly and courteous.
Sushi was great and so was everything else. This was a great experience.
For the price and the food I will be back many more times to come
Had the worst mussels dish ever. There is no way the owner would eat that.
Finally found excellent Asian food in West Palm!
This was my first time here and I will be back. I usually hate restaurants on clematis because they usually are so bland, but this restaurant had flavor and was true to their food. The pho was great and it is one of the only places I know in the area that serve takoyaki. Thank god I found a new place to frequent.
Also for the quality you get I can't understand how the prices are so reasonable!!!!
Good food and great service!
