   The service was superb. Dinner was delicious. The assorted warm break basket hit the spot! Go easy and make sure you leave room for the dinner! The special shrimp appetizer was very flavorful and had a little zing too it! The crab appetizer with the wasabi is so fresh and delightful. and the The wedge salad was superb! The lamb chops was heavenly, so moist it melts in your mouth, must with the chimichurri. We also got the mixed shrimp and truffle risotto. The garden martini was refreshing and delicious! As was their espresso martini 🍸!

   We were sat in a booth next to where waiters come to a register and one of the waiters in particular only has one volume when he speaks, loud. He got into some arguments with another waiter on one occasion. Even when he's on the other side of the restaurant, we could hear what he was saying. He's the short rotund Indian guy. With respect to the food, I was surprised that the entry level pricing of the 3 lb lobster. It used to be $79 and now it's $103. Also, they no longer bring out the bowl with a pyramid of lobster meat in the lobster bisque so there's very little lobster meat in the bisque. Also noticed that they no longer clean the table of debris (crumbs) with the hand held metal spatula like they used to do, nor do they offer two colors of napkins, black and white, when being seated. It was the little things that made The Palm 5 star. The prime rib was good but they might think about offering a third cut, the prince or princess cut as the Queen cut is humongous; I can't imagine what a King cut would look like. We had to take home what amounts to two more prime rib meals.. Waitress was pleasant but not very responsive to having our table cleaned when necessary as I had to ask others to do that. Also, I was never asked if I wanted my drink refilled. The Palm, like so many other businesses, have become a lessor vision of what they used to be and we've been dining with them since 1980 in NYC, DC, Chicago, Orlando, Mexico City, etc. The food is still good but the once before accoutrements are starting to be lost over time.

   We are here on a weeknight celebrating an important family event... this was on a Tuesday night... How does a steakhouse run out of horseradish sauce? Don't you buy a vat of those from Sysco? Someone in the kitchen should have jumped in their car and head to Giant to pick some up when they realized they were LOW. I asked for it when I ordered my appetizer. There was no mention of them running out at that time. Appetizer comes out w/o horseradish. So I ask the person plating our meal for some and I was told by him they are out. I thought he must have mistaken what I was asking for, this is a steakhouse, surely they wouldn't run out. So I wait until our server comes back around (a good 10 min) and I ask her. Now she tells me they are out. Wth? I ask for a to go container for my appetizer. ......The tiny dried out lobster tail on my pasta was like eating paper (after nearly slicing my finger trying to get it out of the shell). .....Bc this was not a business meal and we were not ordering alcohol and bottles of wine, I felt like the service/attention we were given was below average. Our servers attention to us was obviously different to those tables around us. I was embarrassed in front of my children. So I get it, you don't want families dining here. So I'm giving up on this place. Last Mother's Day meal was a disaster... they tried making up for it, which I appreciated, and I wanted to give them a 2nd chance... they failed again. I'm done. We'll just head to the Cap Grill in the future.
