Palm Court Restaurant - Arlington Heights
Palm Court has received rave reviews since the restaurant opened its doors over 40 years ago for its elegant ambiance, friendly service, and relaxed atmosphere.
A highlight of the restaurant is the piano lounge, a comfortable place to unwind, relax, meet up with friends as you listen to the live piano music that swathes the dinner crowd Monday through Saturday.
Chef Michael has been creating alluring dishes for Palm Court since its inception in 1979, and our chef-driven menu includes timeless favorites like Tournedos of Filet Mignon, crisp Long Island Duckling, Veal Oscar and Provimi Calf’s liver. No dinner is complete with Palm Court’s own dessert, Brandy
The Bar offers a wide array of wines, cocktails, specialty Martinis and imported and domestic beers.
with tangy cocktail sauce and French fries
sauteed with brown sugar and balsamic vinegar and served with mashed potatoes
Romaine lettuce tossed with Parmesan cheese, creamy Caesar dressing; anchovies on request
Nice place for great food, weekend live entertainment and comfortable atmosphere. On the upscale side price wise and ambience, but our dinner was absolutely delicious. Don’t miss the coconut crème brûlée. It’s a winner! Will be returning in the future.
Enjoyed our dinner. Delicious. Service was amazing
Very nice dinner, had not been there since before covid. Remodel is very nice, not to many places we can go to in our area. I won't lie though, my lobster was a little over cooked. Otherwise all was good. We will bee back!
We forget just how good Palm Court is. Lots of good food at reasonable prices. White tablecloths, safety exercised, etc.
Music was WAY too loud and unpleasant. Spacing and face coverings were appropriate. It was not overcrowded and there was outdoor seating available also.
Sadly, what has been an institution in Arlington Hts. now has newer owners and it's just not the same. Had a 5:30pm reso. We were told the kitchen was closing at 7pm. By 7:30pm we were the only ones in the restaurant. Even the bar was dark and closed for the night. The bartender was terrible. First round, she made the wrong drink. Second round, martini was not drinkable. Had the chicken piccata. What use to be nicely presented was now just a chicken breast with a heap of thick spaghetti noodles off to the side. Very few vegetables. Entree size salad was ok. Bread is excellent.
excellent food, very fast serving, and wonderful Bulgarian waiter service, the interior has a new design which is very impressive
Manu was typed with a very small letter which for old people is impossible to read. Think that music can be better.
Great food and great service. I even mentioned to the manager when leaving that our Waiter was wonderful...ask for Jamall. Not sure for the spelling of his name, but he is a very tall and handsome man! Great waiter!!!
Our server, Sylvi was excellent! There was a man and woman singing for live entertainment. At first I thought it was a bit odd, but after not having entertainment for so long and knowing that restaurants can’t afford top notch musicians like they normally would, but e got into it and had a great time.
First time there. Enjoyed the live music and friendly staff! Would go again!
Food is very good . Good choices. Good cocktails . Great service. Plenty of social distancing for those of who are COVID-19 anxious.
Went there for my wife’s birthday it was very nice she even got a free dessert
This restaurant is excellent. They do not need to change anything to make it better.
Always a great meal with a bit of class. Our server was very helpful and efficient. Palm Court is not just for grey hairs!
As before good food and service.
Never a disappointment.
This was my first time visiting Palm Court and I enjoyed every moment. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. I ordered the Chicken Marsala which was excellent. There was music playing inside and out that was very relaxing. The waitress was extremely attentive and made me feel like I had been coming there for years. I will definitely be back for the great service and good food.
We enjoyed a delicious birthday dinner for my granddaughter. Everyone loved their food. Server was very friendly and accommodating. Great to be able to eat outside in a cozy tent.
Palm Court is a great place for dinner. The food is superb. They have excellent live entertainment on weekends in their lounge area.
Soups were over-seasoned, one too salty, one too peppery. Pork chops sauce was too strongly balsamic. Other flavors were over shadowed by that. Halibut was delicious.
The black cloth napkins had a sour smell. They should confer with their laundry about this. Quite pungent smell when used near mouth.
Delicious food, served promptly with a smile behind a mask in a pretty outdoor area was exactly what we needed to celebrate a birthday. Palm Court knows how to make a dinner a special occasion.
Usually we go to Palm Court to celebrate special family events. This day, we just wanted to go to a nice place for lunch. As always, the team made our everyday feel special. The food was wonderful, the service delightful, the pace unhurried. We were just planning to get a salad, but since salad comes with entrees, we decided on chicken kabobs. They were cooked perfectly and we enjoyed every morsel, even those we couldn't finish and brought home for reruns.
Great outdoor dining option. Steaks have always been perfect.
Celebrating a birthday. Have not been there in years - a classic.
Server was outstanding.
I had a really great time at this place. The food was amazing. Escargot was delicious. The goat cheese appetizer was delicious. I love French onion soup but it wasn't to my liking at this place, however, there was a lot of cheese in it. Fried calamari was delicious. Side salad was fresh.. The cream of asparagus soup was yummy. I ordered the prime rib. The meat was cooked on point. Lamb chop was cooked on point but my husband and son didn't like the sauce (some type of mustard maybe) on it. The kids menu, super awesome that they have steak on the menu for them besides chicken tenders, Mac n cheese, etc. The duck was delicious. Mashed sweet potatoes was great. For dessert, the coconut creme brule, key lime pie, and cheesecake were all super delicious. Surprisingly, key lime pie was my favorite. Very friendly service. The outdoor seating was nice. We loved everything from this place. I don't know how many times I've said delicious but that's the only word for the food. The only downfall was the knives. They were kind of dull which made it hard to cut through our meat. Besides that, I would definitely visit again!
First timers! Our food , drinks and service were EXCEPTIONAL! Our server “ David was on point and did not miss a beat. We shall return again!
We were seated outside, under the awning, in front of the entrance - only complaint was the lighting which was far too bright. It inhibited the ambiance and made us feel like we were under interrogation. Our server, Taylor, the daughter of the owner, was great - very friendly, personable, professional..............
The food was good, the drinks were good - all-in-all a good evening!
Food was amazing. We started with the coast to coast oysters (which my son and husband loved) and saganiki. Both delicious. My husband and i had the halibut and my kids each had the 12 oz filet. Everything was so good. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back.
We love to dine at Palm Court. We are safely outside and the best way to describe it is it's like a "Supper Club". Very nice and great new owner
It has been a while since my wife and I have been to Palm Court and we were not disappointed, Food and Service were very good. The appetizers came quick and were delicious. Main Course was great. Overall outstanding.
Everything from the time we were greeted to the end of the meal was outstanding. We appreciated the cleanliness and professionalism and social distancing displayed in the restaurant and outside dining area. The salads were delicious as well as the entrees especially the scallops and duck. The food presentation was lovely. We enjoyed our meal and will be returning again soon. We do prefer outside dining and will do so with weather permitting.
Our dinners were delicious we had duck and the fried shrimp. Escargot was great as were the oysters. Our server Nancy was outstanding very attentive. The only thing I noticed is the martini glasses have gotten smaller but was very good. We were the only ones eating inside.
We where very comfortable with their outdoor dining arrangement and enjoyed our meal.
We have always been happy with
the food and the service also.
Palm Court is our go-to special occasion location and even with COVID accommodations they truly deliver. Even as our celebration spit, it is not at all stuffy, it can feel fancy or casual depending on our mood. The tents are lovely, the staff are over-the-top professionals and the food is top notch. Truly classy.
We have been coming here for years and have always enjoy the food.
we have also celebrated birthdays etc.
Fast service and amazing food !
Have been going to Palm Court for many years and the food is always amazing, service great and bar tenders are amazing. The only reason this time I scored lower was we were excited for what they posted for Greek night with Greek dishes and music that was posted 6:30-9:30.
Once we got there the Greek menu was limited to a handful of dishes but some that you can get on the regular menu and order Greek style but not only that when we ordered I asked for the Greek sides such as the potatoes and I was told that the sides were same as usual so no Greek sides. So once the food came the portions have now become less we had 3 pieces of broccoli and 2 slices of carrots for vegetables and the salad was 1/2 the size as it use to be.
So overall disappointed with the “Greek Night” menu options that be we’re excited to go for. Then we were told the music was in a private room and it started at 7:30-11 now so once again disappointed and after waiting until 7:45 and still no music through the speakers since we couldn’t be in where music was suppose to be even after a reservation we left. Hopefully this will change in the future as we will return to find out and hopefully not be disappointed.
I eat here every Saturday. I have not had a bad meal yet!
Dined with my cousin, we had a lot of catching up to do! Problem was every time we were deep into a good conversation, the server Came by and interrupted us, causing us to continually put on/ take off our annoying masks. She was not at all aware of the effect it was having apparently. Food, halibut and duck, was Good but not great.
