   Mother’s Day ! The food was terrible we had to move our table 2xs due to excessive noise ! The Mother’s day menu so over priced !! Chicken Marcela was cold and dry ! $$$ my duck seemed reheated drenched in orange sauce that was cold and sticky . Very tuff bird not crispy at all . Talked with mgr she showed no concern and was acutely rude !! Well never go back fair warning stay away ! Overpriced under delivered . I actually felt bad for the waiter.

   Went for Mother’s Day dinner I chose that place as last time I had a very nice experience but unfortunately this time not very pleasant one. Service was very good but the food disappointing. Fish was dry , steaks were cooked in a wrong way, according to the waitress the kitchen massed up, my steak was medium rare when I got it but I order modicum and my son’s was medium well but was requested to he medium rare . Disappointing for the prace. The waitress offered to cook my little more. Was sad as I chose the place to celebrate one of my favorite day!

   Toilets were not working. Handicap toilet was locked. Hostess said “Yes,we’re aware of that”. Very condescending So disappointed in your hostess and prices on your food were exorbitant and I ordered a small filet and go One shrimp. I’ve been going to pal ct for years and was extremely disappointed. I have recommended your restaurant to many , but will not anymore. So disappointed

   The restaurant was complete chaos. The lobby was full of people with reservations but nobody was being seated. Very poor service and food was sub par.

   Always a delight dining at Palm Court. It’s been our go to restaurant for family events for decades.

   We came to celebrate Mother’s Day. The service was good. The appetizers were good. We had issues with 2 of entrees. The rib eye was ordered rare and came out medium well. The same issue occurred with the prime rib. Two of us ordered iced tea and it was very weak. After dinner, three of us ordered decaffeinated coffee and it was lukewarm at best. These are basic mistakes which shouldn’t occur when you spend that kind of money. We won’t be coming back anytime soon.

   It was just an okay dining experience. The food was good but not fantastic. I ordered the prime rib and my husband ordered filet mignon. My prime rib arrived in a pool of juice that was so over salted. It was impossible to see the coloring of the meat due to the liquid. My husband’s was served on a hot grilling plate. The problem was that it burned the bottom of his filet and stuck to the surface of the high temperature platter. Fearful that the entire filet would be destroyed…he transferred it a plate on the table that the horseradish was sitting on. The waitress did see the problem and transferred it to a traditional plate. We ordered New England clam chowder that tasted like it had a lemon base and baked French onion soup that tasted like it had a tomato/beef base. For the price we paid, there are better alternatives in the area. We ordered: prime rib, filet mignon with crust, baked onion soup, and a spite. The bill was $132 without tip.

   Hi Kathleen - Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the food overall, but we're sorry to learn about your experience with the prime rib and filet mignon. Our New England clam chowder is made in-house daily and does not contain lemon, and we would have happily provided a different cut of prime rib without the au jus had we known. Our Blackhawk filet is served on a sizzling cast iron skillet, which can indeed create a hot surface. We appreciate your comments and hope to improve for your next visit.     Food was good I had Fish special, drinks were good. The dessert was nice Brandy Ice. The service was excellent. The ambiance is wonderful like an old super club. The band in the bar was good but a touch too loud as it leaked in the dining room.
