The past couple of times we have had dinner here, service has been very slow but the food has always been very good. It was definitely slow again last night and the food wasn’t great. There weren’t many people dining in the restaurant so it was a little strange that service was so slow. We were there for my Dads birthday and he ordered Beef Wellington which he has always enjoyed here. The pastry and some of the beef were scorched and over half of it wasn’t edible. Our waitress removed the item from our bill which was nice of her. He opted to not have a replacement. (We had been waiting forever for our food and it was getting late). My sisters chicken dish was overcooked. Overall, it was very disappointing. Not sure if we’ll be returning.

My wife and I went there on Father’s Day. The food was good and their service was prompt. There was also a photographer taking special “Father’s Day” photos. The photo came out very nice and she also gave us a complimentary photo with the restaurant name on it. Overall it was good experience.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I spent over $400 and walked away with a few raw steaks and some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I brought up the issues with the manager, and instead of offering any apology or solution, she told me she was “overwhelmed and tired.” She insisted it wasn’t an excuse—but it absolutely sounded like one. No effort was made to make things right. Just a shrug of the shoulders. Totally unacceptable. 🤬

Ordinarily, we always have great experiences at Palm Court. Reservations were for brunch, and I was pretty disappointed. They had a hard time keeping up with refilling their serving dishes with various hot items, as well as cold items like fruit and bagels. When they did have food in the hot serving dishes, it appeared as if some of the sternos were out; the hashbrowns looked raw/not cooked and the bacon pan had a ton of grease in it (large pieces of bread can solve that since it can soak up all the fat/grease). Unlimited champagne included, but if you wanted a mimosa, it was an additional $3 per person (for a few splashes of OJ?!). I don't think I will do their brunch again given this most recent experience.

Not a great experience for Father's Day. The service was so lackluster and the food selection was very minimal - maybe 25 items tops (yogurt at a $50 buffet?). Our waiter never even showed up once, only the busboys stopped by twice. They also cramped the tables together so it was impossible to get out of our space and make trips to the buffet. It was very uncomfortable. Then we got the check and they had already included a 22% gratitude automatically. This is ridiculous for a table of 4 at a buffet.

Our table was not ready, although we had reservations. Then we were seated at a dirty table. After we sat down, we waited a very long time for wait staff. Once she came,, she said she couldn’t get to us before because her food came. Hmm. And, she wanted us to order immediately. I wanted a cocktail and appetizer first. The drink took super long. “Bar backed up”, she said. Our appetizer came with out plates. It was escargot with no utensil to take them out of the dish. Our entree took extra long to arrive, and was cold. “Kitchen was backed up because of a big group”, she said. The whole night was full of excuses. The whole experience was bad from start to finish.

The food has gone downhill. This restaurant is not the same. Ordered liver & onions medium, it came well done. Sent it back and it came back rare. Although the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were large, the appearance was lacking. The chicken picatta was fair.

Feels like walking into a supper club of years past. Monday evening visit. Seated quickly, but with a quiet restaurant we sat and waited for initial server greeting. Would have expected a detail explanation of menu and specials- the daily specials in fact was never recent restaurant. My memory from many years ago was the dover sole which was not highlighted at all. That said, the summer old fashion followed by the roasted duck were terrific. Huge shareable key lime pie was great though merengue slid off as it was presented.
