Palm Court has received rave reviews since the restaurant opened its doors over 40 years ago for its elegant ambiance, friendly service, and relaxed atmosphere.
A highlight of the restaurant is the piano lounge, a comfortable place to unwind, relax, meet up with friends as you listen to the live piano music that swathes the dinner crowd Monday through Saturday.
Chef Michael has been creating alluring dishes for Palm Court since its inception in 1979, and our chef-driven menu includes timeless favorites like Tournedos of Filet Mignon, crisp Long Island Duckling, Veal Oscar and Provimi Calf’s liver. No dinner is complete with Palm Court’s own dessert, Brandy
The Bar offers a wide array of wines, cocktails, specialty Martinis and imported and domestic beers.

We love this restaurant - a classic menu, not overpriced. Elegant surroundings and quiet enough to enjoy conversing with friends while dining. And the food is excellent, never disappoints.
Food was very good but not a great waiter soup was cold and were told they can’t make it any warmer
This place is super convenient for me. We went here for dinner over the weekend with some friends on a double date and we all had a great time. Really liked the specials that were offered and the service was excellent.

For NYE the restaurant was considerably understaffed. With a reservation we waited over an hour for our table and the waiting area was jammed. I didn’t see one busboy our entire dinner so our server did all of the work; David was awesome considering the lack of help.
Definitely busy NYE but our waitress was amazing and the food was worth the wait!!
Went on New Years Eve and it was packed. We were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation. The service was great and the food was great as it usually is. Given it was New Years Eve this was a plus. Kudos to the staff for making this a truely enjoyable experience.
The food was good but wait was 50 minutes past reservation. We were finally sat at a table where everyone else waiting for a table was gathered around.
Despite reservation, there was a 30 minute seating delay. No place to sit for the wait. Crowded and noisy. Wait staff overtaxed.
We had a 6PM reservation and did not get seated until 7PM. The restaurant was obviously overbooked. The waiting area was standing room only with at least 80 people waiting in the foyer and out the front door The bar area was 5 people deep and could not accommodate any more people. When finally seated, our waitress was very good. But, I had to send my food back 3 times. Ordered a Filet Mignon medium. First came out raw and cold in the middle, next came out raw and warm in the middle, next came out like a burnt hockey puck. By 815 PM, while having dessert and an after dinner drink, the manager came to us table and told us that we had to leave because he needed our table for another group. When leaving, we informed the Manager that we would never visit this restaurant again. He seemed to not care less. We also observed 3 other groups saying the same thing to the manager on their way out.
We enjoyed dining at Palm Court. The service was excellent and our waitress did a great job considering the volume of guests on New Year’s Eve. Food was excellent.
We had dinner at Palm Court for the second time and the food continues to be excellent. The staff is very attentive and polite. We went on New Year's Eve and despite the large number of guests, the restaurant worked smoothly. Our waitress came right away to assist us, was attentive throughout our meal and the food also arrived promptly. We highly recommend!
Haven't been there in quite awhile as we have moved but it is my go to place for steak and lobster.
This time the experience was once again excellent. Food, service and overall experience were exceptional.
Very busy New Year's Eve and we got wonderful food and service. Piano playing made us very relaxed.
We have been going to the Palm Court Restaurant for about 30+ years for special occasions including New Year's Eve. We have always enjoyed the entire experience. This time, the food was great except the 12 oz. filet mignon. In the past, we have always asked for medium well filet mignons and have beautifully browned and extremely tender meat (melts in your mouth as the saying goes). This time, the interior of the meat was done correctly, but the outside of the meat was charred so bad that we had to trim of the blackened exterior meat. For the high price of this meal, this should have never happened. The grill was either too hot or the flames were too high, or whatever. I wished my husband would have complained, but he did not. I would still go back to the Palm Court and next time order a medium steak in hopes the outside meat is not charred and the interior is not too red. Anyway, Happy New Year!
I would have given 5 stars for food and service but there was an administrative problem. The person who checked us in couldn’t find our Open Table reservation even though it was confirmed. I also told her we had a Birthday and would like to have a dessert delivered. She said we would have to talk to our server about that. We never had to do that before.
So, on the way out, I talked to the Manager and he apologized and said that should not have happened. We have dined at Palm Court many times without incident. We will continue to do so because the food and service is excellent.
Avoid the dry duck! Also, out of Southern Comfort on a Sunday afternoon.
Disappointed in our dinner. Rib eye was chewy and whitefish wasnt very flaky or tasty.
Stuffed mushrooms were good - but you only get 2. French onion soup comes in a very small bowl, not ooozing with cheese.

We offer 2 types of French onion soup, one is baked with the melted cheese on top and the other has Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. We will make sure to let our staff know to please share this with our guests.
Arrived for our 7:30 reservation only to find the restaurant packed with people waiting for tables.
They just started seating those with 6:30 reservation. Left.

Severely overbooked yet again on a holiday!! 45 min to 1 hour to wait for a table WITH a reservation!! Front entry area was packed with people waiting including many elderly with no chairs. Do NOT recommend this restaurant for this reason alone. They mistreat their customers and are greedy to overbook themselves on holidays. Just read other reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor. Thanksgiving, Mother’s etc. So many families special day ruined by this place. This restaurant doesn’t deserve anyone’s business until they learn that grossly overbooking on holidays is totally unacceptable especially for an upscale restaurant. It takes a lot for me to give a business a negative review but I hope someone reads this and chooses another restaurant that deserves their hard earned cash.

The food was absolutely delicious!
However, we had. 7:00pm reservation and DID NOT get seated until about 8:15pm. That was ridiculous! What is the point in reservations when the establishment cannot/does not honor them? We were not the only affected persons. Per the individual checking folks in, they were running a minimum of 45 minutes behind on reservations. Further, the restaurant did nothing to compensate folks for running so late on the reservations...not even a complimentary beverage or appetizer. Yes, it was Christmas Eve but shame on Palm Court for over-booking and making everyone wait really long. I will not go back again any time soon.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
It was Christmas Eve and we had reservations for two of us. My husband is in a wheelchair and our experience there was beyond horrible. There were so many people in the foyer that I could not move the wheelchair to get to the hostess desk without inconveniencing many of the angry people who were waiting. We were yelled at and taunted by the crowd on Christmas Eve!!!!! I couldn't believe the rude behavior!!! By the time we got to the desk, I was nearly in tears and afraid that one of the angry crowd would hit us if we dared to move again. After being ignored by the staff , we never really got to check in so we decided that we had to leave that horrible place with those disgusting people. I was under no illusion that we would be immediately given a table, despite our reservations. We were perfectly willing to wait in the bar (if only I could find it in the crowd) for our seats, but I was actually afraid of the angry crowd and their negative attitude. So I told the hostess our name and our reservation time and told them we were leaving. It would have ruined our Christmas Eve, but we found that Uncle Julios was open and they seated us with a smile and served us a great dinner. You know, handicapped people don't go out often. We really appreciate restaurants that don't treat us as an inconvenience. The people who work at and go to this restaurant were the most handicapped unfriendly people I've ever experienced in a restaurant. SHAME ON YOU1111

Our reservations were for 6:30 when we arrived there were 50 people waiting most complaining that they’ve been waiting over an hour and they had reservations as well. The poor girl at the hostess stand was getting yelled at by many customers it was a very frustrating experience we went elsewhere which wasn’t easy on Christmas Eve Extremely disappointing

DO NOT go to this restaurant!!! ... We went there on Xmas Eve; arrived early and ordered a drink at the bar; the wine was served in a dirty glass. When we asked for a new glass, the older male bartender grabbed it, dumped it and acted like we were a big inconvenience and never apologized. Re dinner ... walleye pike was good however, the rice was cold; scampi was rich, so I ate only two out of the four; twice baked potato was cold and dry. We asked what was in the vegetable medeley and waitress said broccoli & carrots (which we both like). We were served cold fried zucchini slices (the waitress said that it was one of the the appetizers on the menu ... BIG DEAL, it was NOT what we were told (broccoli & carrots) and it was cold ... we would have ordered a separate vegetable (for an addt'l fee). When we asked the maitre d' to come over and shared the above issues , he commented "OKAY" ... really??? NO apology ... again, acted like we were an inconvenience. The icing on the cake was when the waitress returned to the table and asked "Is there anything else?" ... she never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert.
Most of the staff should have retired a longggg time ago ... stodgy minded, appear angry and lacked any kind of customer service practices ... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and food was mediocre. We would never go back to this this restaurant
I’ll never understand that when you have a reservation that you still have to wait 40 min for your table. No place to sit and with a back problem it was very uncomfortable. Lucky our daughter (who has knee issues) found a chair that we could use. We were just about to leave when our beeper went off. Then everything changed! Our server couldn’t have been nicer and the food was amazing! We even said....it was worth the wait!

What a shame. This once-proud restaurant, now under new ownership, is a shell of its old self. The menu is not what it used to be and the service, once a hallmark, is rude and hostile. We were treated very poorly by our server, callously upon our arrival by the hostess, and, forgotten by the bus and service staff.
We've been coming here for special occasions for approximately 25+ years and this was our first-ever disappointment. Some confidential "insider" chats revealed the restaurant consistently overbooks (the waiting area was literally, without exaggeration, so packed you could not move) and reservations were running one hour behind. We have spent thousands of dollars here over the years but will likely not be risking another expensive disappointment again. Very sad.

While Palm Court is under new ownership, the menu has remained the same with new items that have been added but no favorites have been removed. Our chef has been with Palm Court since its inception in 1979 and we take pride in providing the consistent favorites our guests have grown to love. We would not change this.

We have enjoyed Palm Court for years and as of last year made it our Christmas Eve dinner location. Last year we enjoyed it but were in the back room near a chilly door. This year we had a 3 PM reservation and were seated in the front of the restaurant in a booth. Everything about our experience was wonderful.

Wonderful dinner altho I had asked to be seated in the lounge and we were told there was a private party going on. That was disappointing as I am sure that was written down somewhere when I made the reservation. The lounge did not look busy at all. I had made the reservation a few days before.
