The food has gone downhill. This restaurant is not the same. Ordered liver & onions medium, it came well done. Sent it back and it came back rare. Although the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were large, the appearance was lacking. The chicken picatta was fair.

Feels like walking into a supper club of years past. Monday evening visit. Seated quickly, but with a quiet restaurant we sat and waited for initial server greeting. Would have expected a detail explanation of menu and specials- the daily specials in fact was never recent restaurant. My memory from many years ago was the dover sole which was not highlighted at all. That said, the summer old fashion followed by the roasted duck were terrific. Huge shareable key lime pie was great though merengue slid off as it was presented.

We have been going to Palm Court since we first married in our 20s. We were always the youngest people by far, but the food, service and prices were always wonderful! Any evening you would find the wrap around bar filled with people socializing and having a perfectly made old fashioned. We came at 7:00 on a Sunday and we were the only people in the restaurant. The new owners have changed it into just another overpriced restaurant. We have enough of those in the area. Palm court has lost its charm. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be coming back. Did it need updating? I suppose. Did it need a complete overhaul to the point that it is just another expensive restaurant? No. In my opinion, bad move by the new owners.

Our dinner entrées are competitively priced, with some offerings even lower than comparable establishments in the area. My wife and I have enjoyed the Palm Court restaurant for years. The food and the service are always impeccable. Unfortunately, when we visited last Saturday, the seating situation left something to be desired. We usually dine early, so the restaurant is never filled up yet. This should allow parties to be strategically dispersed throughout the restaurant, giving everyone a bit more privacy, which makes for a very enjoyable and intimate date night experience. Sadly, this was not the case on Saturday evening. We were seated at a nice booth near the window and there were many other empty tables and booths throughout that whole section of the restaurant. As we were enjoying our cocktails and nice quiet conversation, the proceeded to seat a party of four at the table right in front of us. There were at least six or seven other empty tables in that section, but the party of four was crammed into a table butting right up to our booth. This was very uncomfortable for my wife and I, and I’m sure it was uncomfortable for the party of four who were seated there. We will definitely be returning to Palm Court in the future, but I hope the next time we visit the host will be a bit more thoughtful with regard to how close he seats parties near each other when the restaurant is not full.

Our twice a year special occasion dinner. Never disappointed. Seated promptly, comfortable table, quickly greeted with water and bread, promptly offered menus and has extensive wine list. Very nice selection of entrees from high end to burgers plus salads, apps. Promptly served and happy patrons.

Mother’s Day ! The food was terrible we had to move our table 2xs due to excessive noise ! The Mother’s day menu so over priced !! Chicken Marcela was cold and dry ! $$$ my duck seemed reheated drenched in orange sauce that was cold and sticky . Very tuff bird not crispy at all . Talked with mgr she showed no concern and was acutely rude !! Well never go back fair warning stay away ! Overpriced under delivered . I actually felt bad for the waiter.
